Ivy woke up and she saw herself on her bed. She had a terrible headache, she drank a lot last night. She removed the duvet from her body and she was still wearing the cloth she wore last night. She held her head and went into her bathroom. She entered and she took her tooth brush, and she added toothpaste to it.

She started bushing her teeth and she was seeing herself in the mirror. While she was brushing, she remembered everything that happened yesterday. She widened her eyes. She remembered the "I like you Darien." She fell down and she still add the brush in her mouth.

She was almost crying, she tapped her head hard and she did it simultaneously. She remembered how he carried her, how she kept talking nonsense and how she touched his muscular body.

She squeezed her legs to the ground and she couldn't even cry. She stood and she continued brushing. She finished brushing and rushed to her room.

She took her phone and she dialed Emily's number. Her number was ringing and she hadn't pick. Ivy was moving around the room, and the phone was on her right ear, she put a worried face and she was eagerly waiting for Emily to pick.

She was about to cut the call but Emily picked. She was so happy, she placed the phone back in her ear.

"Hey there, how about we go to club tonight after work."  Emily sounded happy.

"No!" Ivy remembered how she got drunk and she wasn't in the mood to club.

"You sound very disturbed. Are you okay?"  Emily voice changed.

"I did something very stupid." Ivy was feeling scared already and she didn't know how to put it.

"What happened?"  Emily was already curious.

"I told him I like him while I was drunk."  Ivy tapped her head with her other hand.

"Who?!" Emily sounded happy again.

Ivy couldn't say it was Darien, and she didn't know what lie she could tell.

"I'll  tell you when I get  to the office. So bye for now."

"Okay bye." She cut the call.

Ivy entered his office and lucky for her, he wasn't there. She ran with her black heels and she went to her office. She placed her black bag on her table, she sighed in peace and she sat on her office chair comfortably.

She came late, like one hour late but he didn't come. It was very rare for him not to be here. She removed her black jacket and she placed it around her chair. She rubbed her soft hand which was sweaty. She had wore a white armless top and a black palazzo trouser. It was summer and the AC in her office was not useful to her body right now.

Hours had pass and Darien hadn't come to office. Ivy was already getting worried but she couldn't call, she didn't know how she would face him. It was her lunch break and she wanted to talk to Emily.

She left her office, she went outside of his office. She saw Emily, Victor and Mandy. She went to them and she was smiling.

"Hey there." Mandy greeted her and she was smiling.

"Oh Mandy," she smiled back.

"We were just going to the cafeteria, want to join?" Victor asked politely.

"Let's go." Ivy smiled and they left to have lunch.

The four of them sat in a table with chairs surrounding it. A girl Wendy sat next to them and she was holding her plate of food.

"Hey Wendy." Emily greeted her.

"Bad!" Wendy dropped her place and she had a sad face.

"What happened?" Emily faced Wendy and she raised a brow.

"Mr Darien didn't come to work today."

"Yeah, everybody knows." Victor scoffed, "all the girls have gone crazy. We didn't see Darien handsome face, we didn't see Darien expressionless face, we didn't see his serious face. Oh please!" Victor mimicked the girls voice.

Ivy stopped eating, she was very interested in the conversation and she also wanted to know why Darien didn't come to work. It was obvious that Victor was jealous at the fact that all the girls were dying to see Darien.

"Exactly Victor, all the girls here are dying to see Darien." Wendy rested her jaw on her hand and she wore a sad face.

"But why didn't he come?" Ivy was so curious to know.

"You see, that's the problem." Wendy faced Ivy. "Nobody knows why he didn't come, neither did he tell anyone."

Ivy was already getting scared. She didn't know what happened to Darien after she rested her head on his shoulders, and she stupidity fell asleep. What if after he took her home, he was kidnapped on his way back. Darien had never skipped coming to work and if he did today, something terrible must have happened.

Ivy stood and she ran out of the cafeteria. Everyone called her name but she turned a deaf hear. She went to her office and she took her phone from her bag. She dialed his number and she was feeling very anxious.

His number wasn't going and it was saying switched off. She was feeling more scared and she continued dialing the number. Every of her efforts were in vain, it was still saying the same thing. She was more worried and she felt like crying, she didn't know what to do. If anything happens to Darien because of her stupidity, she wasn't going to forgove herself.

She put her phone in her bag and she ran out of the office carrying the bag. Before she could leave, she saw Emily at her front.

"Where are you going?" Emily asked and she sounded worried.

Ivy didn't notice her, she passed her and she went to the elevator. Emily understood everything clearly and she hated the fact that her best friend was hiding things from her.

Ivy came out of the elevator and she was at the first floor. She ran and she met the receptionist.

"I need to be somewhere, it is very urgent." Ivy was trembling and she was almost crying.

"You cannot ju..." Before the receptionist could finish, Ivy ran out of the company.

The security guard tried holding her, she dodged them and ran away. She called the nearest taxi and she entered it.

"Where to ma'am?" The taxi man asked.

"Altania blue 1 street." Ivy remembered his address very well, it was quite close her house.

After thirty minutes, they got to the place. She paid him and left the car in a hurry and she ran to Darien house. Luckily and surprisingly, the front gate was opened. She entered his house and she was at the door. She sighed and she ranged the door bell.

Nobody answered. She ranged it again and it was still the same reply, she ranged it continuously and it was still the same reply. She was already getting scared and she didn't know his password. She banged the door very hard but no one replied. She started crying and she kept banging. She twisted the handle and the door was actually not locked.

She was so happy. She cleaned her tears and opened the door quietly.

"Haaaaaaaaa!" Ivy screamed and she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
