CHAPTER 57

Ivy and Darien entered the office and they held each other hands. They both had a wide smile and they wore couple office cloth.

He wore a navy blue suit, matching trouble, white shirt and a navy blue tie. He dyed his hair black and he styled it to the back. He wore a sliver expensive wrist watch and a black shoe.

Ivy wore a female navy blue suit and a palazzo matching trouser. A white shirt and a navy blue tie. She fixed her hair and she styled it to the front. She did her usual makeup.

They held each other hand and they gave a dramatic entry. They smiled but no one noticed them.

Everybody were busy answering calls. They seemed busy and it seemed like a big problem had arrived.

"We are going to confirm if it is true sir, please be patient and we will get back to you." Mandy hanged up and she got another call.

Emily was heavily pregnant, she was still answering lots of call and stressing herself.

Darien and Ivy seemed to be confused. They didn't understand what was happening and why the office seemed busy. Due to everything that had happened, they had not really come to my office. So they had no updates about what was happening.

Victor saw them and he had a sigh of relief. He walked to them and he was panting heavily. He also looked very stressed out.

"Good morning sir. We are so happy you are here." He sighed deeply and everyone noticed them.

They all looked happy to see him. They disconnected the call and they drew their attention to him.

"What's happening?" Darien faced Victor and he sounded confused.

"We are in a big mess. A really big mess!" Victor looked more worried and he sighed again. "All the sponsors are really angry and they have decided not to sponsor in our company again.

"What?!" Darien screamed and he seemed surprised. "Why will they suddenly change their mind?"

"What they were investing in this company, did not yield an increase for them. Their profit has turn into loss. They find no need for them to sponsor is." Victor explained with a sad voice.

"I don't really understand why it is not yielding for them. Our company is the best to ever make profit." Darien had a huge frown.

"Yes, but the last goods that were sold were cut off by more than 90%. There wasn't any profit."

"What?! How is that even possible? I knew nothing the last goods." Darien was boiling with anger already.

"It was under your name sir. It is definitely possible you knew about it. The sponsors will never hear that, as long as it was in your name. All of the sponsors has left. If we have no sponsors, the company might just go bankrupt and leave us unemployed. It will definitely not affect you sir, you are already a billionaire but production process will definitely shut down."

"Are you sure you know what you are saying?" Darien frowned and he gave a deep sigh.

"Yes sir." He nodded.

"Oh my gosh Darien. This is really bad. What are we going to do?" Ivy faced him and she wore a worried face.

"Are you sure there is no one that want to sponsor us?" Darien asked passionately.

"Yes sir." He spoke softly and he had a sad face. "No one will be willing to sponsor us, as for now."

Darien sighed and he had a frown. He looked very sad and he wasn't having a good feeling about it.

Emily got a call. She picked it immediately.

Nobody heard the call but from everyone point of view she looked really excited. She cut the call and she smiled at everyone. She left everyone in suspense, as they all looked at her.

"Good news sir. We have a sponsor!" She smiled and she seemed happy.

"Really?!" Darien had a huge smile. "I promise you, if this is true, you will receive a massive promotion."

"But who is the sponsor?" Ivy had a bright smile.

"Miss Arizona parents!" Emily smiled brightly.

Darien smile turned into a frown. He already understood what was happening.

"And also an emergency has been made with all the sponsors. They might just be a change of mind." Emily smiled again.

"Let's go Ivy." Darien had a huge frown.

He held Ivy hand and he entered the elevator.

Everyone was present at the meeting. The place was more fuller and the seats were filled. All the sponsors were available.

Williams sat at his usual position. Ivy sat next to Darien and she had nothing to say or do.

"We have nothing to say!" One of the sponsors screamed from the back. "We have all decided to call it quits."

"I understand that the owner was not capable enough but you have been sponsoring us for more than 20 years. This has never happened before." Williams sounded convincing.

"I am sorry Mr Williams but I cannot stay here." Justin was about leaving.

"Wait!" Kelvin stopped him. "Let's not forget our relationship because of a small mistake."

"Do you think business is about relationship?" Jones scoffed. "Probably because your daughter was suppose to get mad to him."

"That's personal, this business." Kevin sighed. "I am ready to sponsor this company with billions of dollars and also cover up for you guys loss."

They whispered the themselves. He sounded stupid but it seemed like great offer to them.

Darien remained quite and he knew very well what they were up to. It was quite annoying for him because, it seemed like they had the upper hand in this matter.

"We agree to this. How is this beneficial to you?" Jones curiously asked.

"This business has been prosperous for years and I am more than sure this thing I am doing is going to do, will really help me in the future." Kelvin explain with a straight face.

They fouyhis word to be stupid but it was beneficial to them.

"I forgot the add. I will only invest and sponsor this company, only if I can guarantee my fate won't be like the others." Kelvin faced Williams.

"What would you like me to guarantee? You have helped us out by investing in this business. Anything will do." Williams assured him.

"I want you to remove Darien from his position." His voice echoed as the place was quiet.
