Darien smiled and he gave out a small laugh. Hos voice was heard, since he was the only one talking.
Everyone stared at him and they were surprised. Ivy looked at him and was confused. She was wondering if he was going to do something supernatural to stop himself from been removed.
Darien scoffed and he laughed even louder. He stood from his seat, he faced everyone.
"I am sorry to say, Mr Kelvin." He gave a sly voice. "You are just a sponsor and you definitely have no right to remove."
"I am sorry to hear that, Darien." He gave the same time as Darien. "I can only invest in this business, of I can guarantee that the person that caused all these is not there."
"Well we don't need you then. We can easily find somebody else to sponsor us." Darien glared furiously at him.
"Someone else." Kelvin scoffed. "You seem to have gone mad, from the last time I saw you."
"Firstly, I will like you to drop the idea of removing me. It is very obvious that I was framed." Darien had a frown on his face. "I didn't even know about the goods or how they are connected. So how can I be at fault?"
"As long as it was in your name, you are more than responsible." Justin glared at him.
"Yes, it was in my name. But somebody else was responsible for it." Darien glared back at him.
"Just sit down Darien." Kelvin pointed Jim to his sit. "It is pretty obvious you won't even remember, all you've been doing is to be romancing your secretary."
"Don't cross your limit." Darien sounded threatening. "You are already pained that I rejected your daughter. That's probably why you want to remove me."
"Darien!" Kelvin glared dangerously at him.
"Stop!" Williams screamed loudly. "Take your sit Darien."
Darien eyed at him and he sat back.
"We have our only hope in Mr Kelvin. If he has requested for it, I think we should at least suspend him from his position."
"I disagree!" Darien was opposing it constantly.
They all looked surprised and confused. Drake and Arizona were present. They enjoyed the drama and they had nothing to say.
"As the chairperson, I suspend Darien for one month. In that case, we will have a temporary owner." Williams announced.
Darien was confused at what was going on. It felt like he was in the past and Williams was the king, who was deciding the faith of people's life. This all situation was making him cringe and it was feeling too cliche.
This was reality but it felt like book or some kind of India series. He from his face even more and he knew he was lost for words. The situation was not in his favour but he still had hope.
"I will like Mr Kelvin to chose the person that may be able to fill in for Darien's position." Williams smiled at Kelvin.
"No one else but your elder son, Drake." Kelvin smiled at Drake.
Darien gave out a laugh. He continued laughing and he couldn't catch his breath. Everyone looked at him like a psycho. They thought he acted like that, because his position was taking away from him.
"You guys really want this business to shut down before he even starts." Darien stopped laughing but he laughed again.
Drake didn't care about what Darien was saying. He only heard his name from Kelvin's mouth and it meant he was going to be owner. He stood and he looked straight.
"I promise to take this position will utmost dignity." Drake said with formality.
"Are you taking a pledge or are you becoming the president of America." Darien stopped laughing and he had a frown.
Drake finally noticed him. He frowned and he eyed him. Arizona were and his dad were right. He should stop thinking and he should allow people to think for him. He cared less about Darien and only his position.
"I will come back here and I will take what is rightfully mine." Darien smiled and he left dramatically.
Ivy followed him at his back and she looked worried. As usual, she was useless in the meeting.
"Darien!" She calmly called his name.
He turned back and he faced opposite her.
"Are you okay?" She looked worried.
He smiled at her and he hugged her tightly.
"Don't worry yourself, I am fine." He patted her hair and he smiled.
"I know you are lying. You are definitely not fine. For the first time, you actually seemed scared." Tears dropped from her eyes.
He smiled and he patted her hair hard and he kissed hair.
"We have yo meet Jack and Chadwick as soon as possible. They are our only hope." Darien faced her.
"Okay let's go." He held her hand and they left.
Everyone had left the place. It was only the bunch of evils that remained.
"Nice job you did there Mr Kelvin." Will smiled brightly at him.
"Oh sure. I can give the world to my daughter as long it benefits me." They both laughed and they hugged each other.
"I must compliment you Arizona. You are definitely smart and outstanding. Best!" Drake faced Arizona but she looked worried. "We should celebrate this."
"Oh sorry, we have somewhere to be." Kelvin left with his wife.
As soon as they left, Williams left with Favour. It now remained Arizona, Drake and Lilly.
"I am not a fool Arizona, something is definitely bothering you." He sat beside her and he faced her side.
She turned to him and she still looked worried.
"You are right. This feels too good to be true." Arizona squeezed her face and she sighed deeply.
"Yes Arizona. Everything is just going easily." Lilly gave the same expression has Arizona.
"Have the two of you, completely lost it?" Drake smiled at. "Cheer up and let's have a party."
"Don't forget Drake. You don't know were the secret fund is. That is our only hindrance." Arizona gave a more worried look.
"Don't forget, they know nothing about the secret fund." Drake sounded convincing.
"If they hacked your phone, they must have had a good reason for that. I am one hundred percent sure they know of it." Arizona sighed in annoyance.
"You are definitely right." Drake started to become worried.
"Their only hope now is the secret fund!" The three of them looked at each other and they had no peace.
