Ivy places the file on his table and she returned into her office, without saying a word. For the past days, Darien and Ivy hadn't been speaking to each other. They acted more like boss and employee.
Darien was starting to get annoyed, he hated the way she was behaving to him. He was the one who caused it, but he didn't expect her to take it this far. The thought was disturbing him and he couldn't take it anymore.
He stood from his chair and he walked arrogantly to her office. He was frowning and he barged into her office. Ivy was startled to see him, he made her to fling.
"You startled me sir." She still looked scared. "Do you need anything?"
Darien rolled his eyes, she was calling him sir again. He gritted his teeth and he was still frowning.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Darien sighed.
He walked closer to her and he was standing opposite her. She faced front and avoided eye contact. He sighed again and he dragged her seat to face him.
She screamed a little and their eyes were staring at each other. He bent his body and his hands were on her chair. He moved his face closer to hers. She tightened her eyes and she didn't know what he was going to do next.
"Come to tomorrow event, I have something to tell you." He whispered into her ears.
She opened her eyes slowly and she saw his face very close to hers. Her heart was beating faster and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She gulped and she didn't know what she was going to do next.
"I have decided not to come." She commanded and she kept looking at his eyes.
"Consider this your boss order. Attend the company's party tomorrow." He commanded and he removed his face from hers.
He smirked at her and he left her office. She exhaled deeply, she didn't want to go, she had a bad feeling about it.

Ivy and Emily entered the big hall that was booked for the company's party. They both emerge like they were some rich people kids. They wore expensive cloth and they were looked like they were still 18.
It took Ivy years before she could select the cloth. She wore an expensive navy blue fitted dinner gown, which showed her curves quite well. It was an off shoulder cloth and the line of her beast was showing. She also wore an expensive silver earrings and necklace, with sliver heels.
Emily wore the same cloth with her. They picked matching cloth and they did their makeup in their usual ways.
As they entered, the other coworker greeted them and they took them into the party. Ivy was about going, but she bumped into Arizona. She sighed deeply and she knew she was trapped.
"Why did you come?" Arizona sounded rude.
Ivy forced a smile and she was trying to ignore her.
"As you probably know, Darien is my boyfriend and soon to be husband." She smiled and she wanted it to pain Ivy.
"Ha!" Ivy gave out a small laugh. "Boyfriend? You really wish."
Arizona frowned at her and she really wanted to slap her. She controlled herself and she dragged Ivy hand forcefully.
"I will reap you if you open your filthy mouth." Arizona sounded dangerous and she was tightening her hands more.
Arizona did it in her way people won't notice them. Ivy was groaning in pain, and Arizona was not ready to stop.
Darien arrived there like a super hero, he forcefully dragged Arizona hand away from Ivy's. He stayed at Ivy side and he was glaring at Arizona. Ivy looked at Darien and he looked like an angel, sent to rescue her. He even looked more handsome, he was wearing a black turtle neck, white suit and a white trouser. He also wore a white shoe and he styled his hair to the back and he looked extremely handsome.
"Get out." He frowned and his voice deepened. "Don't downgrade yourself further."
He dropped her hand with force and she looked flustered. He eyed her and he held Ivy's hand.
"Let's go." He faced Ivy and he was about dragging her.
"I am going to announce our marriage." Arizona smirked at him.
Darien stopped and he left Ivy's hand. He walked closer to Arizona and he was frowning at her, facing opposite her. Arizona kept smiling and she knew she was achieving her goal.
"I dare you!" He deepened his voice and he sounded dangerous.
"I will tell your father." She threatened him.
"What if I disagree to get married to you, right in front of my father." He smirked at her.
He dragged Ivy's hand and he left with her. Arizona got scared a little. If Darien were to go against his father, she knew that things won't go well for her. She was starting to sweat and feel anxious.
She went straight to Williams and he was busy talking to someone. She went closer to them and she was smiling.
"Oh my!" Williams faced Arizona and he sounded jovial. "Hey, what are you doing here."
"Sorry can I see you sir." Arizona sounded desperate and she forced a smile.
"Oh okay." Williams smiled at the other man and he left.
Williams faced Arizona and he saw her sweating.
"What happened?" He stared at her and he sounded worried.
"I would like to announce my weddings with Darien." She mustered all the courage in her.
She was getting scared, she didn't know why she just said that.
"I give you the permission." He smiled at her.
Arizona was so happy, she bowed her head and she left him alone.
Darien gave Ivy a drink and she only took a sip from it.
"You later came." He said softly.
She nodded and she avoided eye contact. It was weird for Ivy, she felt like the third party and the other woman.
"Don't mind what she sa..."
"I feel bad, I feel like I am a disturbance to you." Ivy interrupted Darien and she gave him a worried face.
"You shouldn't, it isn't yo..."Darien was interrupted again but this time, it was because he saw Arizona walking on the stage and everyone started clapping.
Ivy was so frustrated, she wanted to resign. She couldn't bare to see Darien getting married to Arizona.
Arizona stood behind the pulpit and everyone were clapping. She forced a smile and she was too happy.
"I won't beat around the bush now." People gave out a small laugh. "I have come here to announce that the bachelor Mr Darien is getting married on the last saturday of this month."
People started murmuring. Everyone have been waiting to know who Darien was going to be with. He never showed sign that he was dating anyone. This served as a shock to everyone.
Darien tapped his head with his hand, he was already getting annoyed. Arizona had crossed all limits.
"I am here to announce that, Darien and I are getting married." The hall was filled with silence.
