"You came out of the bathroom." He tried to smile but it wasn't coming.

"Why are you being forced to marry her?" Ivy walked closer to him, she stayed opposite him. "Why can't you just say no? It's that simple!"

"Yeah it's that simple." Darien huffed, he was being sarcastic. He moved closer to her.

Ivy felt her heart beat faster than normal and she was already nervous. He moved even closer and he held her shoulders with his hands. He pushed her to the wall, they were less than a cm apart from each other.

She looked up to see him, he looked handsome like always. She gulped and she was more than nervous. His hands were still at her shoulders and he remembered what she had said when she was drunk.

"Do you really like me?" Their eyes were locked together and he gazed at her.

She was very anxious and her heart couldn't stop beating fast.

"Don't marry Arizona." Ivy said with a calm voice and she tried to ignore his question.

"Why?" He said with a sly voice. He moved his face closer to hers.

She gritted her teeth and she didn't even realize what she was saying.

"Don't become somebody that one can control. Stop acting like a machine, because you're not." Ivy could feel his chest almost resting on hers.

Darien sly face changed to a frown. He hated when someone told him that. He left her shoulders and he squeezed his hand.

"Who do you think you are?!" Darien screamed and he was frowning. "Because you like me, does that give you the right to talk nonsense about me."

Ivy didn't realize what she said wrong and she was confused at the fact that he became angry.

"I wa..."

"Oh please, I did not ask for your explanation." He shut Ivy without thinking. "You seem like all those type of girls that chase after rich men. You dream of marrying them."

"Please sir, don't disrespect my self respect." Ivy was becoming furious and she was glaring at him.

"Don't you forget one thing," Darien frowned furiously at her. "You are just my mere employee. If I get married to Arizona, I will benefit a lot."

Ivy was so shocked, Darien wasn't thinking straight and he was saying hurtful things that broke Ivy completely.

Ivy used her hand to push him by his chest. He staggered and his brain finally got corrected. Ivy found herself crying at his statement but she cleaned her tears.

"I'm sorry sir. Nothing like this will ever repeat itself again." She bowed her head and tears poured on the floor.

She brought her head up and he saw tears dropping from her eyes. She turned and she left his room.

Darien came back to his senses and he didn't even know what he was saying. He couldn't lose the one person he got himself attached to. He left the room and he was rushing at her back.

"Ivy, Ivy, Ivy!" He screamed her name but she continued walking fast.

She went out of his house and out of his compound. She was about walking away but he dragged from her waist and he hugged her from back tightly.

Tears poured from Ivy's eyes and he tightened his eyes. For a moment, It felt like he lost her completely. She could feel his heart beat and the back of her head was touching his broad chest.

"I'm sorry." He whispered into her ears and he felt so emotional.

He turned her to face opposite him. Her eyes were filled with tears and she looked up at him. He smiled and he cleaned her tears.

"I'm really sor..." Before he could talk, she hugged him tightly.

He smiled and he hugged her back tightly. Her head was touching his chest and he placed his jaw on her head. He was patting her hair softly. She continued crying on his chest and they remained in that position.

"Darien?" A soft female voice sounded from opposite them.

They turned their eyes to the voice and they saw Arizona . They didn't care, they were still hugged each other but their face was focused on Arizona.

Darien faced Ivy and they stared at each other. They completely ignored Arizona and they continued staring.

"I'll take you home." Darien smiled at Ivy.

She smiled and nodded. Darien took her back inside and they left Arizona completely shocked.

Arizona scoffed and she was very furious. She was already stressed out, she needed to act quick if she wants Darien. Darien bought his car outside and Ivy was inside with him. He drove the car and zoomed off, he acted like she was invisible.

Arizona was almost crying but she needed to stay very strong. This was not just an ordinary battle, she needs to step up. She entered inside her car and she wore her seat belt. She started the car and she was still so furious, she was driving the car faster than normal and the thought of how Darien behaved was in her mind. How he hugged that girl, how he looked at her so lovingly. She was going crazy and she was driving even faster.

Darien had never loved her and he had fallen with a woman that has worked for him, for almost a year. She was driving fast that she didn't realize when a big truck was coming right at her front.

She screamed and she moved the car wheel to her right. She immediately pressed brake and the car stopped, which made her to almost hit her head on the wheel.

What was she doing? How was she going to marry Darien if she died. She was sweating profusely and she broke down completely. She placed her head on the car wheel and she started crying. She grabbed her phone and she dialed Drake's number. After few seconds, he answered.

"Hello." Arizona was crying and she couldn't control herself.

"What happened?"  Drake sounded concern.

"I am ready for the deal and we have to start now."  She cleaned her tears and she looked like she was ready to fight and wage war.

"Why don't you and your parent, fix an alliance with my father."  Arizona had finally seen hope.

"I'll call you later, I have deals to strike." She cut the call and she was sounding hopeful.

She started the car again and this time she drove slowly to her parents place. She was driving carefully, after all she needs to be alive for her own wedding. She smiled throughout the journey and she reached her parents mansion. She undid her seat belt and went out of her car. She entered the house with lots of joy.

Her parents were sitting on the couch, living their boring lives.

"The time has come, for marriage!"
