CHAPTER 19

Darien and Ivy opened their eyes, they turned and they were very surprised to see Arizona. She came at the wrong time and at the wrong place.

Darien sighed and Ivy realized what she was about to do. Darien stood from the chair and he faced opposite Arizona. Arizona eyes were full with tears and it kept dropping uncontrollably.

"I'll leave now." Ivy was feeling was awkward and she was happy that Arizona came at the right time.

Ivy left and Darien was feeling bad. Darien looked at Arizona and she kept crying but she wasn't making noise.

"What are you doing here?" Darien asked in a ride.

"Can't I come to see my fiance?" Arizona managed to talk but she couldn't stop crying.

"Stop it! Stop it!" Darien screamed and she got startled, "aren't you tired of seeing the person you love with another woman? Aren't tired of my insults to you?"

"You have never treated me like your own before," Arizona cleaned her eyes but tears still poured. "You've only seen this girl recently and you've gotten yourself attached to her!"

Darien was surprised at the way she screamed and they were now constituting nuisance. Darien held her shoulders and she looked up to see him.

"I don't love you, and I hate the way you make me behave harsh to you." Darien sighed, "Arizona you need some one who would appreciate and not me. If we get married are you going to be fulfilled?"

"Yes!" She removed his hands from her shoulders forcefully, "What do you think? I have loved your for more than 15 years and in less than 15 minutes you're asking me to stop?"

"Calm down Arizona." Darien was trying to calm her down and he touched her shoulders but she removed it again forcefully.

Darien was so stupid in believing she would stop. No matter how much he says he doesn't live her, she's not going to understand, so what was the point. Darien was already getting angry, he didn't know what to say anymore.

"If you don't I'll..."

"What will you do?!" Arizona interrupted him and screamed. "I promise you that I am going to get married to you and it would be know world wide. Enjoy your mistress why it last."

Arizona adjusted her bag to her shoulder and she cleaned her tears and left with confidence. She was really angry and Darien knew his friend could be dangerous in getting what she wanted, he wasted his time trying to talk to her.

Darien turned and after he move few steps he saw Ivy. He paused and he saw her carrying her bag.

"You're leaving." He spoke softly and calmly.

She squeezed her lips together and she nodded.

"I'll take you home." He cleared his throat, "it seems like you didn't bring your car."

She smiled a little and she slowly walked to him. "Okay."

He smiled and he chuckled. He took her into his car and he didn't bother asking for direction, he already knew the place well enough. He drove for about twenty five minutes. He was happy he could escort down the streets again.

He packed his car and undid his seat belt. He got out of the car and ran to her door. Before she could come down, he stretched his hands.

"Oh thank you." She chuckled and accept led his offer.

He dragged her down and closed the door or his car. They started walking down the streets again but this time they weren't feeling awkward about each other. They were walking side by side and their hands were almost in contact and they both wished they could hold each other.

"I won't lie to you," she faced him and continued walking. "I heard the conversation between you and Arizona."

"Oh." He didn't seem surprise.

"Why don't you like her back?" They faced each other and they kept walking, "I meant to say, she's a beautiful girl and she has every qualities of being a caring girlfriend."

Darien wasn't liking the conversation but Ivy was definitely right about, why hadhe never got himself to like her? Probably she demanded for too much? But that couldn't be it, she was just so obsessed with him and these days he hated seeing her with Ivy.

"Let's just say she's too possessive and always want to get everything." Darien shook his head and he knew he never liked her, "I'm lying."

He paused and they faced opposite each other.

"I have never found her attractive and I like someone else." Ivy gulped and she felt her heart pounding. "Yes, I really don't like her at all and I can't force myself on her."

He turned and continued walking. Ivy was wondering what happened. What did he say? Was he referring to her or another girl.

They finally got to her house and it was quite late. It was close to 1am. Her street was very dangerous for a person to go alone. She reached her apartment and they faced opposite each other.

"Bye." He waved a little to her.

He turned and he was walking slowly. She was wondering whether she could stop him or not. But something him her wanted to stop him.

"Darien!" She completely forgot he was her boss.

Darien turned and he saw her smiling. He went back to were she wasand he smiled back.

"Did you forget something with me?"

"No." She rubbed her lips together, "could you stay at my place tonight?"

He smiled and he walked in the compound. She smiled and followed him at his back. He kept walking like he knew where he was heading. She was able to meet him and they entered her apartment. She went to 046. That was the number of her apartment.

She unlocked the code 2013. She entered her house and house was very neat and we'll arranged. He walked slowly and he liked her house very well. It was small for very comfortable for one person. She locked the door and lead him to her room.

Her was even more neater than the siting room. Her room was painted white and her had a wardrobe, mirror and a table which had skin care and make up kit, it had a small table beside the bed where the lamb was and a book.

She opened her wardrobe and she bought out a two white duvet. She placed it on floor and she spread it neatly. She was arranging for him to sleep. She finished the setting the place and she stayed opposite Darien that was staring at her.

"You can sleep her." She smiled at him but he stared at her.

She was about to move but he dragged her before she moved. He placed his hands on her waist and dragged her closer. She saw herself breathing fast and he could feel it. He gave her a straight look and he pushed her to the wall. He pinned her and they both knew what the wanted. He turned his face and closed his eyes. He went deeply in her lips and kept sucking her lips. She went deep into his lips too, she closed her eyes and placed her hands around his neck and she was squeezing her lips to his. They stared at each other and they continued kissing.
