Darien turned, he sighed and he saw the biggest problem in his life standing, and was boiling with anger. Darien widened his eyes and couldn't believe his eyes. Why was she here? What new drama was she going to create?

"Darien let's go." She commanded with a calm voice.

"What are you doing here and why?" He sounded furious but was still speaking to her calmly.

"I am also part of this business," Arizona frowned her face. "I came to see my father and also to see you. I want to tell you something."

Darien stared at her and exhaled deeply. He knew Ivy was feeling awkward and Arizona didn't care.

"Ivy you can go to the office. I'll meet you later." Ivy stood and left their side.

"What do you have to say?" Darien wanted to leave her site as soon as possible. She always annoyed him with everything she does.

"I have come her to ask for your hand in marriage." She said without even stammering or feeling embarrassed.

Darien was so confused and he was so annoyed. Why was his friend so stupid and very difficult to handle. He glared at her and walked away.

"Darien!" Arizona screamed which made everyone in the restaurant to face her. Darien wasn't even moved, he continued walking and he completely ignored her presence.

*****
Weeks had already passed and to Ivy's surprise the venomous snake hadn't step her foot into the company. It was good news for her because she was doing well at her job and her boss didn't complain anything to her. Darien just talked business to her and they spoke to each other on phone only about business.

It was her break and she needed to take coffee. She stood from her sit and walked her way towards the door.

"Ivy." Darien calm voice interrupted her from stepping outside.

She turned and she saw him setting the files on his table and he looked even handsome when he was working hard.

"Get coffee for me on your way back from lunch break." He was still setting the file while talking to her.

Ivy nodded and walked out of the office. She went to the place where all the staffs ate their food during their lunch break. She ordered two coffee and was heading back to Darien.

She wasn't watching her steps which made her to slip and spill the coffee on a female's cloth. She looked and saw it was Arizona. She widened her eyes and she dropped the coffee on the table next to them. She grabbed a handkerchief from her pocket and wanted to get the stain off.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry." Ivy was really trying hard but the stain wasn't coming off.

Arizona grumbled and pushed ivy off her body. Ivy grunted in pain but Arizona seemed less concerned. Arizona was really boiling in anger and she couldn't stand this girl.

"Have you gone mad?!" Arizona screamed which got the attention of the staff and everyone were now staring at them.

"I already said sorry. Why did you have to make a mountain out of a mole hill?" Ivy seemed calm but when she talked like that, she was really pained about the situation and hated when anyone try to embarrass her.

Arizona became more furious. With annoyance Arizona slapped Ivy very loud which made Ivy face to shift.

Ivy had never felt so embarrassed. She hated injustice, not only to herself but also to other people. Ivy held her cheek and she slowly faced Arizona and she had a teary eyes which didn't move Arizona a bit.

Arizona wasn't really offended about the fact that Ivy spilled coffee on her but she vented her anger at her because she hated seeing her with Darien and it really got on her nerves and she hated outside intruders.

Ivy was still in shock and the tears she had held finally dropped from one eyes to the other.

"How dare you?! Who gave you the right to hit me?!" Ivy shouted which made everyone surprise. "Do you even have manners? Your father might be rich but you're mentality is really poor and your ways of approach is very poor."

Ivy kept on lecturing Arizona which only made her get more furious. Emily knew if ivy should continue she was going to lose her job. Emily went to Ivy and she whispered in her ears for her to stop.

"No I won't!" Ivy screamed and tears were still pouring uncontrollably. "Who is this woman? She is forcing herself on a man that has no interest in her but wants to get rid of her."

Ivy had completely embarrassed Arizona and was already taking things personal.

Arizona couldn't believe her ears. She raised her hand again and almost slapped her again but this time Darien held her hand.

"What do you think you're doing?" Darien voice sounded dangerous and threatening.

Arizona squeezed her face at his site and felt more angry. Darien had never supported her nor stood by her side. But right now he was supporting this girl and was also going against her.

"Everyone go back to work!' Darien commanded.

The entire place scattered and all the staffs returned back to their work. Darien kept wondering how foolish his friend was.

"Who gave you the right to slap my employee?" Darien faced Arizona and he looked at with disgust, "she doesn't work for and if this should ever repeat, you will be banned from stepping into this place."

Darien left her hand and went to meet Ivy, "are you okay?" Ivy managed to nod her head.

Darien took Ivy with him and walked pass Arizona like he always did. He took Ivy and left the company with her. They both had somewhere to be but they were suppose to move in the next hour.

Ivy didn't care were he was taking her, she was just remembering the slap and all she thought was how she was going to take revenge without losing her job.

Darien took her to his car and drove without telling her were they were heading. He stopped the car in front of a chicken store. He opened the car and took her inside the store.

Arizona felt so  embarrassed and was standing alone in the office. All the workers kept staring at her and they were very happy to see her in that situation. Chinaza snapped Arizona from her thoughts and she managed to take her into the elevator. Arizona eyes were full with tears and they could drop anytime from now. She held her tears and didn't want to cry in front of her secretary.

She came out of the elevator and left Chinaza without uttering a word. She went outside the company and called the only person she wanted to speak to.

Arizona entered her car and she stopped in front of Doris house. She entered her house since the door was already opened. She entered and saw her best friend Doris. She went to her and started crying. Arizona acted like an iron lazy but when it came to Doris she acted like a baby and she told Doris her secrets.

Doris and her had been friends since their childhood, she was much closer to Doris than she was with Drake.

"Why are you crying?" Doris asked moving her body to face her.

"Your stupid brother is not willing to marry me." Arizona kept crying like a baby.

Doris got her to sit on the couch and stayed opposite her.

"Did you ask him to marry you?" Arizona nodded.

Doris shook her head in disbelief. She couldn't believe what her friend was telling her.

"I'm a hundred percent certain he walked away." Doris knew her brother well enough and her prediction was definitely true. "You shouldn't have asked him."

"Why?" Arizona cleaned her face.

"Why don't you try talking to your father?" Doris drew out her point.

If Arizona should talk to her father about it, her father might just talk to Williams and Darien can never go against his father.
