Ivy left her office and went to Darien holding a file. They didn't talk to each other since the incidence and they acted formal with each other. She forced a smile and she placed the file on his table.

"The chairperson as concluded a meeting this afternoon and you'll have to go sir." Ivy was in pain and she didn't want to cry.

Darien didn't notice her but he was shocked by her statement. He was wondering why his father had called a meeting all of a sudden. Did he want to finally announce him as the next chairperson? He knew it couldn't be possible his father was not ready to give up his position anytime soon. He only wanted to give him the title of next chairperson. Darien could be the next chairperson but it was only temporary, he could do something that could make Williams change his decision. If Darien should find a great excuse to run away from this meeting,  if he continues doing so, his father might just give someone else the title.

"Make an excuse, say that I can't come. Just make an excuse." Darien sounded happy and excited.

"Sir but your father has decided that you must attend, the meeting is dedicated tovgou and if you don't go, the meeting would be useless."

Darien sighed, he had to go now matter what. If it was dedicated to him, no matter what the excuse he will have to go.

"Prepare for us to leave." He commanded her.

"Sir may I say something." Ivy was hesitance and Darien stared at her, "I know you asked me that we should ask like boss and employee but I d have a suggestion for you."

"What's that?" Darien face was expressionless.

"No matter what you do at the meeting, chose your decision yourself without anybody intervening." Ivy was feeling nervous to say it but she needed to say it.

"Why would you say that?" Darien sounded cool and not mad

"I noticed it the last time, when you wanted to impose a decision your father shorned you. I felt bad and I hope that something like that should never happen."

Darien chuckled a little and he knew she was right. But that was his fate, he had to abide by his father decision. He thought again, if he goes against his father, his father might just change his decision.

He smiled at her and she left back to her office.

Darien and Ivy entered the office and they emerged like there were going to wage war. Darien intentionally went late, they were thirty minutes late and they emerged like there were the boss of them. Everyone were present even Arizona and Doris.

Darien had never been late before and he really wanted to lose the position so badly. Williams got angry at the site of his son being late.

Darien sat beside Williams at the right, since it was the only space left and Ivy stood beside him.

"Why are you late?" Williams voice echoed in the board room.

"I had something to do." Darien glared at Williams for the first time and he sounded very rude.

The entire place was filled with murmur and everyone were surprised. Drake was confused and he was wondering what Darien was doing, but whatever he did was walking in his favour.

Williams didn't want to constitute any nuisance, he had to ignore that for now and  continue this meeting.

A man stood and he went to the board where they made decisions. He was showing the presentation of the new project they were about to build. It was called the shipping system. Millions of dollars had been investment and it was already getting to a billion dollar. There was no gain except if they invited one of their clients from south Korea and he invested in it.

"Stop this presentation." Darien voiced echoed louder which made everyone shocked, he had never imposed a decision when Williams was there. "Invite Mr Chang Woo Hyun."

"But sir if we do that, we would invest more money to it." Victor said and he was still standing near the board.

"But if we don't we would be invest money without yielding interest." Darien knew he was going to go against his father and his father was going to support Victor.

"We are going to gain profits and that's what matter the most in business." Drake said and he was trying to get the best for his father.

"Nobody asked for your opinion Drake," Darien faced his brother and he sounded rude, "beside we all know you know nothing about business."

Drake eyes his brother and frowned his face.

"I agree with Victor and Drake." Darien hit the target quiet well. "Darien should drop his idea and we go with our original presentation."

"No I don't agree." Darien sounded dangerous and he stood and went to the board where victor was. "I am the CEO of this company and I have decided that this is what I want to do and there is nobody that have the right to go against me, not even the chairperson can go against this decision."

Williams was shocked and he couldn't believe what Darien was saying. For the first time in his life, Darien opposed him. The entire place was filled with murmur. Everybody were shocked especially Williams.

Ivy was wondering why everyone were being so dramatic because the owner of the company imposed that decision. She was so confused and by Darien actions it seemed like he did it on purpose and she kept wondering why.

"I give you next 24hours for you to invite Mr Chang Woo Hyun." Darien commanded Victor.

"Yes sir!" Victor bowed his head and paid his respect to him.

"I guess this meeting is over." Darien smiled and he was filling fulfilled.

He smiled and left the board room with Ivy following him at his back. For the first time in his entire life, he went against his father.

"Let's celebrate this victory sir." Darien paused and turned to Ivy.

"Sure, let's go." Darien smiled at Ivy and he held her hand.
