Ivy adjusted her black bag to rest on her left shoulder. She had wore a black shirt, below her kneel. She wore a white designer office shirt, she complimented it with a black heels.

She remembered what happened yesterday and she didn't know how she was going to face Darien. She couldn't bare to see the person she likes, getting married to another person.

The elevator door opened and she stepped into the staff room. Nobody was there but their bags were there. She was confused, she was wondering were they had all gone. She entered the office and she didn't see Darien. She was already starting to get scared, she entered her office and she placed her bag on the table. She sat on her office chair and she took her phone from her bag.

She was only ten minutes late and she couldn't stop wondering were they all went. She opened her phone and she went to the group chat.

"Every staff of DDC should be present at the main assembly hall by 8:30am." That was the message that was sent by the admin of the group chat and it was sent around 11:00pm yesterday.

Ivy widened her eyes, it was 9:10am. She probably didn't see it, because she was too sad about what happened yesterday.

She stood from her sit and she ran out of her office. She went out of Darien office and into the elevator. She pressed number 26, that was the floor were the general assembly hall was. The elevator went down for a while until it stopped and the door opened. She ran out of it and she walked for a while, she reached the place and she opened the door quietly.

The hall was extremely big and it could accommodate more than 200 people. The hall was quiet and she opened the door, few people paid attention to her. Some of the staff members eyes were staring at her.

The hall had a stage, which was very big and high ranked people sat on the stage. There was a large table and it had a chair, where the high ranked people stayed.

Her eyes caught up to Darien siting at the high ranked place. Someone was passing information to the staffs. He was on the stage and he was standing behind the pulpit, there was a mic that he was using to talk.

She quietly walked into the hall and she sat beside one of the workers. She couldn't even see Emily, since the hall was full.

"Like I said before, the company's year party is approaching, we have to start preparing for it and we need every employee participation and cooperation." The man that was on the stage was saying.

Ivy was so annoyed, she should have waved it and she could have said she had stomach upset. The man kept talking about the dumb company's party and she wasn't hearing anything again, she knew she wasn't going to attend. She was only thinking about Darien and what they were saying wasn't entering her ears.

They addressed them for about two hours and they continued talking about the company's party. The meeting came to an end and everyone left. She stood from her sit, and she was about leaving. Someone held her hands back and it felt like it was Darien.

"Stop it, people would get the wrong idea." Ivy sighed and the hand still held.

"Da..." She turned around and she couldn't complete her statement.

She saw Emily. Emily rose a brow and she was frowning at her. Ivy widened her eyes and she was so shocked.

She removed her hands from hers and she ran out. She knew her friend was going to ask unlimited questions that she wasn't ready to reply.

She was so thirsty and she needed coffee. Before she went back to work, she stopped at the small Cafe room which was in the company. The Cafe room was meant for the workers anytime they needed break from work. She entered and she ordered an American cola. She sat on the chair and she was waiting for it.

"I have been hearing rumors that has been spreading in the company." Two girls were at her back and she could hear them. They were probably employees that were taking break.

Ivy was interested in their conversation, she shifted her chair a little to hear them properly.

"Yeah I also heard it." The other girl said.

"Arizona wish is finally coming true, I heard it personally from Doris. She is soon going to marry Darien. It has already been finalized." The first girl whispered but Ivy could hear her.

Ivy was already getting angry, she knew she was not in the place to angry, but what could she do. She couldn't hold back her feelings for Darien.

"Wow, I didn't know you were close to the chairperson daughter." The other girl covered her mouth.

"Yes, we go to club together and see told us last night when she was drunk, that Arizona and Darien were going to get married.

Ivy squeezed her hands together and she couldn't bare it anymore. Why was this happening to her? Couldn't she have a peaceful love story.

"Here is your American cola." The waitress dropped it on the table.

She didn't even notice the waitress. She stood in a fit of rage and she left without taking her drink.

Arizona entered the restaurant and she saw Doris sitting at the chair next to the windows. Doris waved at her and she smiled back. She walked to her and she sat opposite her.

"How are you doing sister in law?" Doris winked at her and she was teasing her.

She smiled and she gave out a small laugh.

"Doris." She shook her head and she was still smiling.

"What should we order?" Doris asked her.

"Anything you want."

Doris smiled and she ordered fried beef for them. The waiter came and he served them their food. After that, they started eating.

"Everything is finally going in place, all I have ever wanted in this life, I am finally getting it after a lot of hard work." Arizona was cutting the beef with the knife and she kept smiling.

"I'm happy for you but, do you think Darien would just agree and he will marry you." Doris gave a worried look to Arizona.

"What do you mean?" Arizona dropped her cutleries and she faced Doris, she gave a frown.

"Yes, I'm correct." She nodded her head, "This company's party that is approaching, you should grab that opportunity.  I think you should announce yours and Darien wedding in the party."

Arizona was very interested in this discussion, she kept listening to Doris.

"Make your wedding public known. Even if Darien wants to back off, he won't be able to." Doris gave a broad smile. "Everybody has been willing to see Darien's bride. If you make it public, he wouldn't dare back out."

"You are so smart." Arizona smirked.

Things were just working in her favour and all she had to do, is to make Darien fall for her.
