Chapter 33: Delerium

MIKHA'S POV

I groaned when I woke up with a heavy body. Para akong pinag buhat ng maraming rocks sa sobrang bigat ng katawan ko.

I heard a noise coming from my living room kaya kahit nahihirapan ay pinilit kong tumayo.

I slowly exited my room and saw my friends having fun in my living room, watching some movies.

The three corny couples were being lovey-dovey while cuddling.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko nang hindi ko mahagilap si Aiah.

Where is she? hindi ba siya sumama mag sleep over?

I've tried to remember what happened yesterday pero sumasakit lang ulo ko, so I just shrugged it off.

"Miks? Okay ka na ba? What are you doing here downstairs?"

I got startled when someone spoke at my back.

Napatingin naman ako rito and saw Aiah rubbing her eyes, probably coming from a nap.

"Uy, dude, gising ka na pala!" I heard Jhoanna say, kaya napadako ang tingin ko sa kanila.

They were looking at us with weird smiles.

"What's with the smiles, guys?" I asked confusedly as I started to walk closer to them.

Naramdaman ko naman na may humawak sa bewang ko para alalayan ako maglakad.

"Careful." she seriously said.

"Thanks." I mumbled softly.

"How are you feeling, bai? May masakit pa ba sa'yo?" Colet asked with a hint of concern and stole a teasing glance from Aiah.

"What time kayo dumating dito?" I curiously asked and looked at the wall clock, it's already 9 pm.

"Basta may nag chuch—" Jhoanna didn't finish what she was going to say when she received a flying pillow that slammed into her face.

"What?" I curiously asked them and looked at them weirdly.

"Wala, magpagaling ka na lang d'yan." Maloi stated at binalik ang tingin sa pinapanood.

Nakita ko naman masama ang tingin ni Jhoanna sa katabi ko.

I looked at Gwen, expecting an answer from her, pero umiwas na lang siya ng tingin while smirking.

I looked at Aiah, who had been quiet for a while.

"Are you okay? Bakit namumula ka?" I concernedly asked and checked her temperature, worried na baka nahawaan ko na siya.

I heard laughter and looked at my friends, who were laughing like lunatics.

"What's funny?" I confusedly asked them.

"WALA! NAKAKATAWA KASI ‘YUNG PINAPANOOD NAMIN." Stacey answered habang nagpipigil ng tawa.

"Don't mind them. Gutom ka na ba?" Aiah asked, kaya napabaling ang tingin ko sa kaniya.

"Did I do something stupid?" I whispered to her.

I don't know if it's just me, pero namumula talaga siya masyado.

"Wala." she said at dali-daling tumayo papuntang kusina.

She's weird.

I just shrugged it off and decided to watch the movie, pero wala pang five minutes ay nauumay na ako dahil sa kacornyhan ng mga kasama ko. So, I decided to follow my best friend.
