FAMILY DINNER

HICCUP POV:

When I open my eyes I saw Astrid is still beside me sleeping. I looked at her hand and she is holding my hand then I look around the room and saw Toothless and Luna are curled up together and sleeping peacefully. Looks like she stayed with me all night as I smiled because she looks beautiful when she is asleep. And she moaned and opened her eyes slowly and she got up and saw me then I smiled as she smiled as well and said "Good Morning Hiccup..." as I said "Good Morning Milady" as she giggled then I caress her cheek and pulled her closer and about to kiss but then the door burst open as we immediately break apart and saw Zepher as she said smiling "Daddy...." as we saw her and with the Night Lights as well as they sat on their parents and then Toothless and Luna also woke up quickly because of the noise Astrid said "sweety you woke up quickly." And she is blushing as I chuckled then Zepher said excitedly "Yes because I want to spend my whole day with Daddy..." then I giggled at her. Then I said "Zepher, Did you brush your teeth and clean yourself..." as she nodded excitedly then I continued "Okay then Let's spend our day." As then Astrid said "Not until Magnus is here. He needs to check you first if you are good to go..." as I groaned and said "Astrid I am fine. I can walk and run the whole day and I think the pain is subdued." Then she gave me a furious look and said "No... not until Magnus gave you the statement." As I groaned and Zepher said "Mommy is right Daddy. You need to check yourself first okay." As I sarcastically said "As both of my ladies wishes." And they laughed at each other. Then After the few minutes later Magnus came with blacky and checked me and said "Your Majesty is fine now. You can go now the fever is reduced but the wound is still there so use a support to walk for a while." As I nod then Zepher said "So what do we do today Daddy..." then I thought and said "Let's have a Family Vacation." Then Astrid said "Family Vacation, how?" As I smiled and said "We will go to the garden of the castle and have a Picnic." As Zepher said "Yaaay, A picnic it's been a while we have done this" as we laughed then I sighed and said "Magnus, thanks for saving me...." and he smiled and said "It's my duty Your Majesty." then Astrid said "Okay I will tell the maid to pack food because we are having breakfast in the Garden." As we nodded then she left with Luna.

AN HOUR LATER:

it's been an hour and Astrid didn't come in this hour my daughter played with Toothless, Blacky and the Night Lights and Magnus well he is working as I asked "Magnus...." as he looked at me and I said "Where is Ruffnut and Mrs. Jorgenson.." then he sighed and said "Mrs. Jorgenson returns to shelters with her son and Ruffnut is staying in the Guest Room and it is provided by Her Majesty." As I nod then after the few minutes later Astrid and Luna came as Zepher ran up to her as I smiled but not just that her parents came as well as I got shocked when they look at me and I sighed and said "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Hofferson." As Mr. Hofferson said "Hiccup please just call me Harold..." then I smiled and said "Okay, Mr--Harold." As they giggled then Mrs. Hofferson said "How are you doing Hiccup." And I said "Yes I am fine. Magnus here said I can go out now but needs support to walk which I don't pressure the wound." As they nodded and I saw Astrid smiling at us as Zepher hid behind Astrid and asked "Daddy, Mommy who are they..." as Astrid looked at her and picked her up and said "Zepher...." as she walked towards them and she continued "....Meet you Grandpa and Grandma...." then Zepher confusingly said "Grandpa and Grandma.... but I have only Grandma Valka right..." as we laughed then Ingrid said "Yes and you have us. We are your mother's parents which means we are your Grandparents as well." As she laughed excitedly and said "Really..." and Harold said "Yes, so can we know your name little fella..." then Zepher said "Yes, My name is Zepher Finn Haddock." As they looked shocked then they look at me and I smiled then my parents in law smiled as well and Harold said "Okay, then Zepher how about playing with us today..." as she looked sad and said "But Dad promised me he will be with me for the whole day." Then I smiled and said "Don't need to be so down Zepher...." as they all looked at me and I continued ".....How about this Let's invite them to our picnic. We can even bring your other Grandmother as well." As she laughed and nodded excitedly then we all giggled at her. Then I got up with the support of Astrid as I nod to her as she nodded as well.

Then in a few minutes later we got ready and the door opened and I saw my mom as she look at me shocked and came towards me and hugged me as I hugged and feel warn tears on my shoulder then we break apart as Mom caress my cheek and said "I am soo happy that you woke up." As I nod, smiled and said "Mom I am fine now you don't have to worry.... but we have some guests here." As me and Mom look towards them. My Mom frowned and said "It's been a while Harold, Ingrid..." as Ingrid said nervously "Yes Valka it's been a while..." then Harold also said nervously "So how you have been Valka..." as she said "Fine..." as I, Astrid, Zepher and Magnus saw the tense conversation between the Hoffersons and my Mom then Mom walked towards Ingrid and in a second she hugged her as Ingrid looked shocked as she hugged her as well. Then when they break and Valka said "It's good to have you as a friend again Ingrid..." as she smiled and nod and said "Yes its been really good..." then we all released the breath that we are holding and smiled at them then Ingrid said "Valka, I am sorry....I-I should have protected Hiccup. I-I should have said something to the village....." as in her eyes the tears started to fall as I sighed then Mom said "It's not all your fault Ingrid. You think what you did was right but it should be Stoick who should have protected him. After all he is his father..." then she hugged Ingrid again as Harold put a hand on her shoulder as he looked guilty as well. Then Harold said "Hiccup, Valka...." as me and Mom look at Harold then he continued "....when we came here Stoick stopped us..." then I frowned and said "Can I ask why he stopped you." He sighed and said "He said that he wants to meet you two because he wants to make everything right and he feels sorry...." as I sighed then Astrid said "Hiccup...." as I look at her and she continued "....As I said it's up to you. whatever you want to do I will support you." Then I smiled and nod as Zepher looking at me worriedly then I said "Okay I think it's time I reveal myself. After all I said it before Astrid. I need to talk to my father face to face..." as she nod and said "You can do that later but now we have a Picnic to go." As Zepher said "Yaaayyy....." then I giggled.

ASTRID POV:

As we walked towards the Garden I saw Zepher and Hiccup are sitting on Toothless as Nightlights and Luna walking beside him. Valka and my parents are also coming with us even I called Stormfly who is chirping and walking beside me and after the few minutes later we all are at the Garden as I saw Elise waiting for us as she bowed to us then she said "Your Majesties, The breakfast is served and Fishes for your Dragons as well." As me and Hiccup both nod. As I ran towards him and took one hand behind my shoulder and sat him down on the chair where the food is as Zepher also sat beside him on the chair as for me I am sitting with Zepher then for my Family sat on the left of Hiccup and Valks as well and for the Dragons they are eating mindlessly then I smiled because this is like a family dinner more than a family vacation then we are all talking and eating together and I thought it's been a while that Hiccup and me looked happy because we have our family dinner for the first time together with the whole family except for one person that is Stoick who I wish would be here but I know Hiccup, Valka and Stoick will get back together and they will be happy family again with us Ofcourse.

Few minutes later we ate our breakfast as for Zepher she is playing with her Grandfather with Nightlights as well. Valka and Mom are talking maybe they are talking about what happened to them all these years as for Toothless, Luna and Stormfly they are playing as well and for me and Hiccup. We are sitting on the garden and Hiccup is resting his head on my lap as I am stroking his auburn hair and I looking at him peacefully then Hiccup said "Astrid...." as I said "Yes Hiccup..." then he said "Are you the one who moved Ruffnut into the guest room...." as I sighed and nod then he continued "Thanks for that...." as I smiled and said "No need to thank me Hiccup. I know at that time you don't want to reveal yourself. I did what I thought was right....." as he smiled and I continued "Hiccup, when are you gonna tell Stoick." Then he sighed and said "I have a plan. I am gonna organize a party in the village for the defeat of Drago. Then I will reveal myself...." as I giggled and I continued "....Little Dramatic isn't it." And I giggled again and said "Yes it is and I want to see their shocked expressions." Then he smiled as he closed his eyes and said "I am gonna sleep for a while on your lap if you don't mind, It's comfy.." as I smiled and said "As you wish my king." As I kissed his head and I saw him fall into slumber and I smiled.
