THE DECISION

STOICK POV:

It's already morning and I am now waiting for the decision of my people because I told them what Hiccup had said last night and now they are talking and whispering to each other regarding the choice whether they join them or not then Gobber said "Look people...." as we all look at him as he continued "...I don't know about others but in my opinion we should join them because we have been here for more than a week and no dragons have hurt or kill anybody here not even a child. So I decide we join them." Then they got shocked and confused as they may thought he is right as I am also thinking he is right then Hoark said "But Gobber, you really think we should do that. They killed hundreds of us." As the whispering and talking continued again then I got frustrated and yelled "PEOPLE" As they got shocked and stopped talking and I sighed and said "I know it's hard. We have been killing them for three generations. We don't know when they will attack us again but look at this way. As Gobber said we have been here for a week and no Dragon except Drago attacked us. So I think it's time to change our ways so that none of our new generation have to suffer the same fate as our ancestors." Then they started thinking hard as then one spoke "I am in..." as I look at the side and it is Snotlout and he looks firm as I and everyone got shocked then Fishlegs step forward and said "Me too." As then a second later Tuffnut came forward and said "Me three and four if you count my sister." As everyone got shocked and looked at them then Snotlout said "Look I know it's a big decision but it's true we have been fighting dragons for many years and none of us ever thought about this except one certain person who we almost killed and you all know that who that person is..." As everyone looked at him shocked then Fishlegs said "You all know that Hiccup here is strong, confident. He found a place here and made a kingdom out off all of this. Now let me ask this...." As everyone looked at him eagerly and he continued "....What would happen when we found him with that Night Fury. Would we accept him or Would we branded him as a Traitor." Then as they got shocked and started to think about this then I sighed and said "You are right Fishlegs...." As now everyone looked at me then I continued "...We could have banished him. So my choice regarding this decision is yes. I will join this empire..." as I stand firm in that decision as everyone looked at me shocked and then some of them sighed and some of them got confused then I said "So who wants to be with me." As then everyone got their hands up and smiled then I laughed and said "Looks like we are gonna be part of something bigger now...huh..." As everyone laughed and giggled as well and I thought 'okay Hiccup I think it's time to sign some papers.'

HICCUP POV:

I just woke up and I saw Astrid she is still sleeping covered with white bed sheet as I put my clothes on and looked outside that the sun is blooming and I thought 'I hope berk made the right choice.' As I sighed and walking towards washroom to wash myself as I got in.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER:

As I walk out from the washroom after washing myself with only towel around my waist as then I saw Astrid she is still sleeping as I smiled and thought 'Maybe I tired her last night' and giggled and in a few minutes later I got ready in my black Armour with a black cape around my neck and someone called me form behind "Hiccup...." as I saw towards the bed and it is Astrid who have been woken up as she yawned and rose up from the bed covering herself with the white bed sheet and sat on the bed I smiled at her and walked towards her as I kissed her cheek as she rubber her eyes then I said "Good Morning Milady..." as she smiled and said "Good Morning Hiccup..." then I said "Looks like it's a late morning for you...." as she pout and said "Yeah because of certain someone." As I giggled and said "If you are tired you can sleep again. I can wake Zephyr up." as she said "No.... I have work to do today." As I nod then she rose up from the bed while covering her body and I said "Astrid...." as she looked at me and said "Yes, Hiccup..." then I said "Thank you...." as she got confused and asked "For what..." and I said "For being with me all this time and to gave me happiness." As she smiled and said "Hiccup, I should be the one thanking you because if I don't know the real my Uncle died then I don't where I would be." As I nod then I said "Get ready, we need to go down to berk as well." As she smiled and nod. Then she said "I will come as soon as I can." As I nod and she left to the washroom with her clothes and I waited for her.

AN HOUR LATER:

I am at my Dining Hall right now with Astrid, Zephyr, Toothless, Luna, Stormfly and the Night Lights where the Night Lights are sitting on Toothless head and his back and Zephyr is walking as we are talking about things here and there or what are we gonna do today as I opened the door and I saw a big round table with at least ten chairs as we sat down I sit at the head of the table where Astrid is on my left and Zephyr is on my right and for the Dragons they are behind us enjoying their meal as we are eating given to us by our maids the door suddenly opened and I saw my friends Viggo, Eret, Mom, Mala, Dagur, Heather and Alvin as they are talking to each other then Viggo looked at me and asked "Hiccup you want to talk to us." As I nod then as they seated to the chairs and I said "Guys I need your help to make a decision" as they got confused and Eret asked "What decision." As I sighed and said "I have decided to train berk in Dragon Riding." As they got shocked and Mom said "Hiccup.... are you sure." Then I said again "Actually I am not... but it's a decision of berk. If they want to make an alliance they can get it as long as they accept the dragons." Then Alvin spoke "Hiccup, he told me he wants to make an alliance." Then I said "Yes, he told you... only him though but not the whole berk. What would happen if the whole village refuse him." Then Dagur said "Well, he is the chief and every decision he have to make that could benefit him and his people." As I nod then Astrid said "Look I know it's a big decision.... but we could have another tribe and also they are the strongest warriors in whole Archipelago and Grimmel is still out there and they can help us." As they nod then Mala said "We want peace not war. That's why this empire was made. So that a dragon and a person can live in peace." As they nod then I said "So everybody made the decision." As they nod then Heather said "Hiccup, we all did made a decision but are you sure that they will accept dragons. Did you talk to them." As I sighed and said "I talked with Stoick and he said that he will make a choice with the whole berk today." As she nodded and said "Okay, Hiccup we all trust you. So we know you will make a right choice." Then I smiled and nod as they nod and then Astrid said "Let's eat our food first then we will go to berk." As they nod and started eating as I sighed and thought 'I just hope now berk will make a right choice.' Then someone put a hand on my hand and I saw Astrid as she looked worried as I smiled to sooth her and as I saw Zephyr she is still eating her breakfast because she didn't know what is going on here after all she is barely three years old and didn't know what the outside world looks like and I think that when she turned five she needs to starting to learn some things.

AN HOUR LATER:

As the breakfast was over Alvin, Mom, Astrid and Heather stayed with me and the others are gone because of work and we called Bjorn and Elise as we are about to go to the shelters right now by leaving the dining hall then I said to them "Okay guys, let's go and see berk." Then Zephyr at me right said "Daddy, Mommy Can I come too." As I smiled and said "Zephyr we are going for work. You know that right." As she pout and said "Daddy, you guys always go to work but you never take me. Please take me I will behave." As I sighed and then Astrid said "Okay we will take you Zephyr but you have to promise me something...." Then she nodded excitedly and Astrid continued "...you will stay with Elise and Bjorn and will not leave her sight. Okay." As she excitedly said "Okay..." as she jumped then Heather asked Astrid "Astrid Are you sure." Then she said "she needs to see the outside world also Heather. We can't just cage her in a castle." As I sighed again and thought 'its true she is getting big and needs to go out to see the world with her own eyes.' Then I said "Astrid is right Heather. She needs to learn and experience the outside world with her own eyes as well." As Astrid smiled then Mom said "He is right Heather. Now Let's go." As then Alvin said "Yeah we don't want to be late." Then we started walking towards the shelter with dragons on our toes where my friends dragons will meet us outside.

ASTRID POV:

Then after a few minutes later we reached the shelters with our Dragons and I thought 'I hope berk made a better decision.' Then I sighed and someone grabbed my hand and it is Hiccup and he asked worriedly "Are you okay..." then I said "Yeah, just a little nervous about their decision." As he smiled and said "I know I am too... but it's up to them now. If they want to join us then we will help them and if not then we can't do anything." As she nodded and said "Actually I am scared about my parents and my friends. If they don't join us they have to go with them." As he nodded then Valka came and said "I know Astrid what you are thinking but we can't force them to change their decision. But we can do this. We can ask your parents to live with us." As I got shocked and said "Really." As she nodded then Hiccup said "Yes, if they want to join us." As she smiled and nodded then Heather came forward and said "Okay shall we go inside." Then Alvin said "Yeah Let's go inside. I am bored out here." As Destructo roared then Alvin said "Yeah, yeah I know you too are also bored." As we laughed then I smiled at my current family then I said "okay let's go."
