ANOTHER MONTH PASSED

HICCUP POV:

It's been a month since the last time I talk to Astrid. I am excited today because I am going to meet Astrid. So today I am going to berk to meet her again as I packed I realized how much happened in these two months I build a home on the Island I have found which I named Dragon's edge. I even found out about the dragon hunters and I am also raiding their ships to free the captured dragons some of the dragons go away and some came with me but also I learned that the Berserkers and the Outcasts have joined forces to destroy berk and berk doesn't even know about this. I am going tell that to Astrid today. As I am getting ready I saw that Toothless came to me and 'cooed' to go flying with him and I told him "okay bud... we are going to berk to meet Astrid" as he 'cooed' happily and jumping up and down then after the few minutes I got ready and put my mask on. I use the mask because I don't want anyone to recognize me to track me back to berk as I said to Toothless "Let's go bud...." as he walked beside me to go outside as I walked to the door and got out from my hut. It is only one hut now but in middle there is a clubhouse where I can eat and at the back there is the training area where I train dragons and myself as well. As I sat on the Toothless saddle I go flying towards berk.

AFTER FEW HOURS LATER:

I am at the cove of berk and waiting for Astrid. After waiting for another hour someone called me "Hiccup..." when I turned around I saw Astrid smiling at me the she ran and hugged me as I hugged her she told me "I missed you..." as I said "I missed you too" and then we break then she patted Toothless and said "Hi Toothless it's been a while...." then he 'cooed' happily then after few minutes later he is playing with the butterfly on that flower or should I say trying to grab it as we laughed. And then As I looked at her face I saw that she is crying then I wipe those tears from her face and she kissed me as I moved into her rhythm then after the few seconds we break I said " how are you doing....and the berk as well" she said "It's been good.... let's sit down and talk" and she told me "Hiccup you know Stoick have chosen an heir and guess what it's Snotlout.." as I nodded and I said "yeah I could have guess that.... so he must be training for becoming the heir...." and she said "yes he is.... but you wanna know something shocking" as I nod again she said "Stoick was considering me as well..." I am shocked what she have said and I said "Astrid that's amazing..." but then I realized Snotlout is the heir and what happened. As I am thinking she said "I know what you are thinking.... how is Snotlout became the heir." as I nod again she said "I rejected the offer Hiccup...." I am shocked again and bewildered as well and asked "Astrid you are good and smart why did you reject the offer" and she said looking down "It's not me Hiccup it's just when you were gone I kind of feeling guilty because a lot happened when you were gone" then she told me what happened how the berk found out about Helheim's gate, about the red death and about the broken tailfin as well and how she stole that tailfin without a second thought. After that my father talked to her and Snotlout about becoming the chief where she rejected and Snotlout became the heir.

Then I asked "Can you tell me where is that Tailfin" she pointed her hand at the lake as I watched I called "Toothless..." and he looked at me and I said "Come here bud..." as he came towards me and I told him "There will your tailfin at the pond deep down.... can you bring that up" as he cooed as a yes then he dive down the pond and in a few second he brought that tailfin up as I looked at it and found relief that's good the old tailfin is with me then Toothless came out of the water and walked beside me and I said to Astrid "thank you Astrid.... I can't believe what would have happened if Gobber finds out about who made this tailfin..." as she smiled then I smiled at her but something is telling me that Astrid looking a little down then I grabbed both of her hands and looked at her eyes and they looked pained.

I asked "what happened Astrid..." she sighed and said "Hiccup I am feeling guilty....." and I asked "about what..." she said "about everything I lied to your father about you that you are dead not alive, about stealing the tailfin, about breaking into the colosseum and about the one who saved the whole village" as she looked down feeling guilty I looked at her with concern because I know she is right about everything and I said "Astrid... look at me" as she looked at me with tears in her eyes and I continued "Astrid I know how you feel because I am the one who did this to you-" then she interrupts and said "No Hiccup it's not your fault..." then I said "It is my fault Astrid because I left and couldn't be the viking that my father wants. you know what you said about how sorry my dad is but in my heart I couldn't forgive him and I couldn't forgive berk." As I closed my eyes.

She said "Hiccup you left because you want to find your own destiny now look at you. You control a dragon where everyone thinks is very dangerous around the Archipelago. You fought red death with him and not just survived but you killed the queen where no one can done that. I think your life is just getting started.." then I smiled and said "Thank you Astrid.." as she smiled as well and I continued "you also don't need to feel guilty about this. you did this at my accord. How about this let's call a truce what we did it because we thought what's right for both of us" as she smiled and nod as I nodded as well.

Then we sat down again and Toothless also sat down beside me and slept after playing and I talked to Astrid about how everyone is on berk about Gobber, about the gang what they are up to in these days and I told her about my adventures beyond the Archipelago about Dragon hunters and how I am raiding their ships to free dragons also I told her they don't know me yet and I realized I came here to tell her something important. I said "Astrid listen when I was outside I saw four boats to be exact which symbolizes the symbols of crest of the tribes. The first four was the Outcasts and the other four were berserkers as I was freeing dragons I stumbled upon them and they are building an alliance to destroy berk..." as she looked shocked and terrified then she said worriedly "what are we gonna do now Hiccup."

As I stand up and walk towards the ocean and I told her "Don't tell this to my father not yet..." and she said " But Hiccup those two tribes just joined forces and you said to stay quiet. Are you serious." Then I said by reassuring her "Yes...I know what it looks like but you don't have to worry because I am fighting them..." as she looked at me shocked and said "How are you gonna do that" I smiled and said "with Toothless of course. they don't know about us and the other dragons who are at the edge with me" then she got worried and said "Hiccup I think it's a bad idea." And I said "Yes it is..." and she sighed and said "Hiccup can you answer me a question ?" and I said "okay.... what is the question?" She asked "If you can't forgive berk then why are you helping them"

I sighed and said "because it's the right thing to do.... what they do to me is unbearable I don't know if I can forgive them.... but it's not right for me to do the same to them." She smiled and said "You are right that's why I love you" and she kissed me again as I closed my eyes kissing her. And when we break she said "....but can you keep me updated about this atleast let me know that you are safe..." and I said "okay...... and actually I also have to say something else" and she said "what..." and I said "I can't come here anymore like this....." she confusingly said "what do you mean..." and I said "If I come here this day every month I would be spotted one day by the people of berk.... so to say I can't come here like this." As she looked shocked as I continued "...but as an alternative I created something so that we both can talk anytime and can meet anytime....." as she looked at me confused as I gone towards my saddle and pulled out a red and green Terrible Terror and blue Terrible Terror and I said "Meet sharpshot and Sneaky" then she looked at me and said "and how those two Terrible Terror's is gonna help us."

I said "These two Terrors can send letters. I have trained them to do so. Sneaky will stay with you and Sharpshot will be with me. We can send letters by binding it to our terrors and they will send them to the said person." Astrid is looking at me like she doesn't believe and I said "you are not believing this are you...." and she said "nope...not a chance" and I sighed and said "I know you don't like this but this works. It will be faster and safer for us." And she sighed and said "okay...but you will send the letters to me about everything is going outside." And I smiled and said "I will.... and also this will help us in which day we meet and where and which time.." as she nodded and said "so... how Am I gonna hide Sneaky" and I said "you don't have to she had good stealth skills. She will stay here in the cove and when you come to send a letter she will meet you" as she snorted again and I said "I think its time for me to go..." then she looked sad and said "Yeah I think it is. its almost noon" and I said "Astrid no matter where I am I will always be there for you" she smiled and said "Thank you Hiccup and I will be there for you and please you will tell me everything about beyond the Archipelago" as I nod and we hold hands again and walked towards Toothless and I said "Goodbye Astrid." She said "Goodbye Hiccup and be careful out there. With the Berserkers and with the Outcasts" as I nod again. Then I sit on the saddle of Toothless and she walked towards Toothless and said "Goodbye Toothless" as he 'cooed' happily as Sharpshot sat on my shoulder and as like Sneaky sat on the ground and then I flew towards the clouds.
