A/N: Hi friends! I'll save most of what I have to say for the ending Author's Note, but I just wanted to say that I KNOW this chapter was supposed to be ARRIBA, but I decided to push it back a bit. I'll explain more at the end. <3 Read on!

"If Without You" - ATEEZ

By the time I dragged Jongho and San back to The Blackbird, I was truly out of energy. I bid them both a swift goodbye on the top deck, placing a peck on each of their cheeks. I slipped away before either of them, particularly San, could protest. All but running down the stairs and to my room, I stepped inside with great relief in finding it empty. Closing the door behind me, I let out a heavy sigh.

I was exhausted in every sense of the word. Mentally, physically, and most of all, emotionally. The last two weeks had been complete and utter chaos, and I wasn't sure how much more I could take. The day alone felt like an entire months worth of events had taken place. What I wanted, more than anything in that moment, was my bed.

So, I peeled off my intricate outfit, and placed it aside for later, sliding onto the bed naught but my skivvies. My blanket still needed to be washed, but was a chore for later... Right now, I was going to fucking sleep. Pulling the silky white top sheet over my weary body, I finally let my head hit the pillow with a soft, sleepy sigh.

Eagerly, I awaited sleep. I was greatly excited at the prospect of a luxurious nap. And yet... no matter how hard I tried, I could not find rest. I tossed, I turned, I twiddled my fucking thumbs. All to no avail. After the forth time readjusting my position, I nearly screamed out a frustrated groan as I flailed in irritation. Kicking my feet, waving my arms, tossing and turning in the bed as though I were exorcising some sort of malevolent entity from my body.

When I stilled from my momentary lapse of sanity, I let out another defeated sigh as I straightened the sheets back out. It seemed that I'd grown rather accustomed to sleeping next to one of the boys. Enough so that I now found it difficult to fall asleep alone. I weighed my options carefully, letting my gaze rest on the wooden ceiling above me. I could either suffer a sleepless few hours in peace, or wager summoning one of the boys to my room.
