Millions, and billions, and trillions of stars,
But I'm down here low,
Fussin' over scars on my soul,
On my soul, on my soul,
On my soul, on my soul, I am so,
Infinitesimal, oh.And they say, it started with a big bang,
But they say, it came out of a small thing.
Strangely, I'm feeling like a big bang,
Cause I've been making mountains out of concaves.Do you ever really think about the grains?
Every little one's got a million things.
Every little bit's got a billion bits,
And that ain't it. No, that ain't it.And did you know that when you really get close,
Nothing really touches, bro, it just kinda floats?
So when you think it might just come to blows,
Just so you know, it wont, because it can't, bro.And they say, it started with a big bang,
But they say, it came out of a small thing.
Lately, I'm feeling like a big bang,
Cause I've been making something out of nothing.Like my soul, just like my soul,
You think it's so infinitesimal."Infinitesimal" - Mother Mother

I hadn't bothered looking behind me to see if The Sparrow and The Starling were following me. I inherently knew they would. If not Jongho, at the very least I knew San would be sticking beside me like glue. At that point, though, I didn't really care if either of them followed, Captain's orders be damned. I was going to explore Port Royal if it were the last thing I did.
Instead, I kept my eyes forward, taking in all of the new sights before me. There was a small stretch of sand before the ground in front of us sprouted with grass. Not quite enough sand to warrant calling it a beach proper, but enough that I had to walk a full minute before my feet touched truly solid ground.
The tightly packed dirt path that lead into the township was surprisingly well maintained. Palm sized grey stones, smooth and flat, lined the entire pathway, which wound like a lazy snake as it stretched up the slight incline of a hill. Along the footpath, spread out every few feet, were waist length posts with small oil lanterns hung on hooks, which had not yet been lit. I wondered for a moment about their practicality, but it was hardly a concern of mine how much fuel the town burned keeping this path lit.
At the top of the small hill, I saw my first row of buildings as I stepped onto the cobbled street, stopping dead center in what appeared to be a town square of sorts, to take the visage of the town in.
Each building was unique, each standing at various sizes, and built in different styles. Some buildings were made of wood, with thatched roofs and wooden shutters, most of which were opened wide to let the cool evening air in. Other buildings were hewn from stone, or brick, and sported more luxurious windows with glass panes fitted into them. I couldn't keep my attention on any one building for very long before my head swiveled to take in a new one. It was all so overwhelming, and yet I had never been more excited.
Once I'd ogled all sights the buildings had to offer, I moved to looking at faces. People. So very, very many people littered the town square, even as the daylight waned. Every moment that passed, it seemed I noticed someone new.
A tired mother, holding a baby in one arm as she carried a basket of bread in the other, trotting down the road toward where ever her next destination may lie. A group of children, laughing and giggling as a disgruntled old man chased after them, hefting his cane as though he meant to punish them for some wrongdoing, if only he could catch them.
A young maiden tending to a small wooden fruit stand, her wares lined along the stall in a colorful display. Some fruits I recognized easily, such as apples, oranges, and bananas. Other fruits were foreign to my eyes, some of which looked more like weapons than something edible. I made a note to explore these new things when I had time to.

Fiksi Penggemar"Of course. And, why not? Why wouldn't the ship be attacked while I'm tied to the fucking mast." I scoffed, rolling my eyes. When it rains, it pours. Literally. I awoke in a storm, tied to the mast of a foreign ship. I had no memories. I had no name...
