Leonard Snart [1]

The moment they came to a solid landing, his teeth were gritting together, his body and mind still adjusting to the concept of time travel, his fellow time travelers feeling the same nausea as he did in the pit of their stomachs. However, while Leonard Snart remained silent in his seat, finding that complaining would be useless in the situation, and was waiting for it to pass, three of his teammates decided to do the opposite. Jax had jumped to his feet, only to collapse due to loss of feeling in his legs, Ray had started speaking quickly and in a rapid rush, only for mumbled nonsense to escape his lips, and Stein was shouting out to Captain Hunter, unaware that he had temporarily lost the ability to hear. Snart snorted as the tingling in his shoulders and the feeling in his hands returned, Sara and Rory having followed his example by waiting for the side-effects to stop. Their reactions to the idiots of their so-called-team was why she was the only ones that he could stand.

"Okay, so where are we?" Sara asked Rip, her hands on her hips.

"I think you mean when are we?" Ray laughed, only when no one else joined in with him, his smile died. "Too soon?" He seemed to enjoy the fact that he could now speak again, but Leonard just wished that he lost that ability all together.

"I think you mean not funny." Mick helped himself to a beer, where he found it, Leonard wasn't sure.

"Central City, 2022," Rip told them, silencing his team as he turned to face them all. "Gideon has informed me that the probability of Savage being here is at a high 85% and that's the best we've currently got. So I suggest we do what we can to find him."

Stein, feeling the anxiousness of being home sick, stepped forward. "That's cutting it close to 2016, Captain Hunter. Excuse me for asking, but are you sure this is a good idea?"

"It'll be fine, as long as you all..." Rip began, only to find that half the team was already making a play for the exit. "...Stay out of trouble!" He called after him, hoping they heard and actually paid attention.

Stein, who was still standing beside him, gave a short laugh. "That's like telling us to stop breathing, Captain."

"Don't remind me, Professor."

Meanwhile, Leonard filed out of the ship and pushed out of the tree line, his hearing catching the laughter of children. Rory, Sara, Ray and Jax followed behind, Kendra and Stein remaining in the Jumpship. Leonard quickly realized the Waverider had landed close to a playground, near children, which was not something Leonard had a lot of expertise with, not that he intended to speak or even look at any of the kids that were running around. He had just realized how much he had missed home. He missed the city, even if it hadn't been that long to him. He liked moving around and doing his heists but Central City had always been his home. After all, it was where his heart was. As Rip joined them, hastily trying to devise a plan on finding their enemy, Leonard's eyes wandered around the area, remembering the home he had left behind; the only two people that would miss him, that he had left behind.

Then a woman passed them, Leonard's back to her, as a phone was pressed to her ear, her attention not once flickering to the six strangers lurking ten feet away from the playground filled with kids.

"No. I told you Lisa, I have Leo, I can't. I have too much going on...I have to go."

The familiar voice and mention of the name instantly sparked Leonard's attention and he fully turned, his hearing now lacking Rip's voice, the captain having taken notice of Captain Cold's absent mind. Snart's eyes widened when he saw the back of the woman who had said his sister's name; she was standing out of earshot and she couldn't see him, he couldn't see her face, but he knew who it was. His heart dropped as he realized she was standing right in front of him, five years into the future. Her back didn't look any different...
