Derek watched as Keira entered his loft, a smile on her face as she continued a conversation she was having with Derek's only living sister. Most of the supernatural walked into Derek's loft without knocking, but Keira Rosier was one of the few that he didn't mind doing it. Derek and Keira had become good friends, and ever since she was bitten by Ethan, Derek had agreed to help her with their werewolf abilities.
However, Derek knew there was something different about Keira, ever since he met her that day in the woods. They had been friends, on and off, for the past five months, and he now felt something stronger for her than friendship. She was extremely attractive, but that was obvious, and now they were as close as they could be as friends, ever since she had started walking into his place as if it was her own, and had grown so close to his sister. Yet, his worries about Paige and his past romantic history prevented him from making a move. He couldn't risk her life so carelessly and if she didn't feel the same, it'll ruin their friendship forever.
There weren't many people Derek trusted with his life. His past with Kate Argent caused those feelings of doubt. But Keira was one of them. She had somehow wormed her way in, and he couldn't get rid of that nagging feeling he felt every time he laid eyes on her. Hell, he didn't know if he wanted them to go. She kept him alive.
"He doesn't like me." Keira laughed in amusement, throwing herself onto the couch in the main room. Cora sat beside her, her lips pulled into a warm smile. Derek entered the living room, and instantly he felt the jealousy build inside his chest at the mention of someone else taking a liking to her.
"He does-" Cora began.
"Who likes you?" Derek asked Keira as he stood there watching them. She rolled her eyes, but Cora was smirking broadly at the question.
Cora knew of her brother's feelings for Keira. Everyone did. Everyone knew she was attracted to Derek as well and everyone could see the way they glanced at one another when the other wasn't looking. It seemed the only ones that didn't know that Derek and Keira liked each other was Derek and Keira.
"Aiden," Cora quickly answered her brother's question. "Aiden likes her."
She frowned. They hadn't been speaking about Aiden at all; they had been speaking about Derek. Keira liked Derek Hale, she never denied it, and she admitted straight to Derek's face that she thought he was attractive. But now she couldn't understand what Cora was doing, until Cora's eyes trailed to her.
"Aiden likes you?" Derek asked Keira, raising an eyebrow. "Since when?"
"A little while we think," Cora quickly explained, sending her friend a 'shut up' look. "He asked her out today."
Derek's expression was priceless, as the jealousy and anger took over his face and he unfolded his arms and stared at Keira quickly. "He asked you out?" He asked, his dark green eyes were fierce. "What did you say?"
Keira was surprised to say the least, as she could tell by the look on Derek's face that he was jealous by Cora's words. But Keira did feel something more towards Derek then friendship, and she planned to get it, if Derek wanted it too, that is. She knew how to how to play dirty.
She was going to play Cora's game.
"Oh, well, I'm thinking about it." Keira shrugged, her eyes darting to Cora to see the Hale woman smirking widely.
Cora stood, walking into the kitchen so she wouldn't have to see the relationship between Derek and Keira grow. Keira saw something behind Derek's eyes as she stood, stretching her arms behind her back. Derek grabbed hold of Keira's arm and pulled her towards him.
"You're thinking about it?" Derek hissed. "He's the enemy!"
"He's good looking, isn't he?" Keira shrugged, not trying to remove her arm from his grip. "He's interested, and I don't have a boyfriend, so...why not?"
Keira went to walk by Derek, who had released her grip on her arm, and felt her smirk widen at the frozen pose he had. Keira started towards the door, until Derek had grabbed hold of Keira's shoulders and pushed her against the wall, smashing his lips against hers. Keira's eyes quickly shut, her lips moving in sync with his.
Derek's hands moved from her shoulders down to her waist, one of them cupping her cheek and his nose brushing against hers. Keira wrapped one of her arms around his neck, while the other gripped Derek's black hair, and pulled at the roots. His tongue entered her mouth, moving swiftly in her mouth as they moved together. As Derek's tongue left her mouth, Keira bit his bottom lip until she drew blood, but the small teeth mark quickly healed over itself. Derek grinned widely at the taste of copper in his mouth but then the kiss continued.
Derek pinned her harder against the wall, lifting her up, and she wrapped her legs around his waist and gripped his shoulder blades and felt the air leave her lungs and pulled away from the extremely heated and passionate kiss. Derek was also out of breath, but couldn't resist the urge to place his lips back to Keira's skin, and ran his tongue across her neck, and also started to leave small nibbles onto her skin. Being a werewolf, Keira's skin had already started to heal itself. Keira moaned, leaning her head against his strong shoulder and using her foot to lift his t-shirt ever so slightly.
"You were playing with me, weren't you?" Derek whispered, his grip lowering to Keira's rear end and his hold on her tightening.
"Oh, I was, and it worked like a charm." Keira moaned, pushing his head back so they were staring at each other. "I know I'm evil."
Derek laughed, bringing his lips back to hers but quickly lowering his lips to her ear. "But if someone like Aiden does like you in the future, than you just have to do me a favour, will you?"
"Hmm, what's that?" Keira whispered, feeling her hands itching to pull his shirt over his head, but not wanting to rush into things.
"Tell them you're mine."
Time passed quickly between the two of them and before long, they fell into a pattern, one that she was happy to continue.
Keira giggled lightly as he kissed her neck, leaving butterfly kisses across her neck and collarbone with his own satisfied smile on his face. She had her arms wrapped around his leather jacket covered shoulders, but her eyes were on the school in front of her, despite not being able to focus on it fully. Her attention was mainly on him.
Derek had Keira pinned against his Camano, and one of Derek's hands was tangled in her loose dark brown hair, while the other was placed in the back pocket of her jean shorts. Keira could feel his hand against her rear end, but the moaning pleasure of her boyfriend's lips against her skin made the rest of her feelings leak away.
"Oh, gross!" A surprised and revolted gasp was heard less than ten feet away. "Ew! My eyes! My beautiful eyes!"
Both Derek and Keira turned away from one another, but their heads stayed close together, their noses inches from each other. Stiles Stilinski, Scott McCall and Allison Argent were around seven feet away, they were walking towards the school, but they were clearly distracted by the sight of the two passionate werewolves, making out in the middle of a public place. Stiles, clearly having been the one to speak, was covering his brown eyes with his own hands and making childish gagging sounds.
Keira nodded to them with a slight smirk. "Sup, guys?"
Derek wasn't as polite as Keira. "Go away," He grumbled, his grip on his girlfriend tightening.
"Do you have to do that in a public place?" Stiles whined as Allison and Scott sniggered. "No one wants to see you two tongue-wrestling,"
"He just drove me to school." Keira grinned with her hands still firmly wrapped around Derek's shoulders, one of her hands gripping his black hair.
"Now he's saying goodbye?" Scott smirked, but Keira wasn't embarrassed and shrugged, leaning her forehead against Derek's.
"Go away, we're not done." Derek growled to the three teenagers.
Stiles's eyes widened. "You're not done? What? You two are gonna have sex right here?"
"You're an idiot, Stilinski." Keira chuckled.
Stiles opened his mouth to make a sarcastic comment, but Derek just rolled his eyes and pulled Keira back to him, his lips again locked to hers. Their tongues were quickly mashed together as Keira's eyes fluttered close, and they heard Scott and Stiles gag and their footsteps start to fade away. But Keira could still feel Allison's presence.
"Keira," Allison whispered softly.
Once more, the couple broke apart, with Derek letting out a frustrated growl, hating the three teens now more than ever. But Keira was grinning softly at how frustrated Derek was becoming. All he wanted was to be alone....well not completely alone.
"Yes, Allison?" Keira smiled at the brunette.
Allison bit her bottom lip, seeing the healing hickeys on Keira's neck. Scott and Stiles had already entered the school, but Allison thought she might as well ruin Derek's day.
"You do know the date, right?"
Keira released an 'hmm', due to Derek's wandering hands across her thighs and waistline. But then she replied,
"It's June 11th,"
"What day?"
"Check your calendar if you want the date." Derek hissed with his lips back attached to Keira's neck.
"Wednesday..." Keira started then she gasped, pushing Derek off of her so he stumbled backwards. "Oh my god, I'm going to be late for my Biology test!"
Keira pecked Derek's lips, laughing at his bewildered expression before jogging towards the school while throwing her bag farther up her shoulder. She hated being a senior; she just wanted to finish high school already.
"Thanks for the ride, Derek, see you after school! Love ya!"
Keira didn't hesitate before going into the school, but Derek had frozen in his steps, his mouth opening and closing without any words being able to escape his lips. Allison, who was smiling softly at the exchange between the pair, before turning her brown eyes towards the werewolf she honestly didn't like.
"Did...she just...?" Derek stuttered, his eyes still locked on the spot Keira had previously been.
"She said she loves you." Allison said, and Derek's green eyes trailed to her.
Then Allison saw something she never thought she'd see on Derek Hale's face. A large wide happy grin had appeared on his face, his lips pulling up to reveal his white teeth.
"She loves me," he whispered happily.
Keira sighed heavily as she put some of her books back into her locker. She hated attending school now, as she felt she had better places to be, for example, she wanted to be with Derek. After being together so much over the past few weeks, Keira felt empty without Derek around, and so it was hard being stuck in school for hours on end without around him.
Due to her dysfunctional relationship with her parents and Keira not turning eighteen for another month, Keira hated being stuck in the house she used to call home. Now she spent more and more time at Derek's apartment, and she knew a fair amount of her stuff was building up there. But Derek never complained about her company, so Keira never mentioned how she was practically living with him. Keira didn't want him to kick her out.
"Lost in thoughts?"
The one that spoke had grabbed hold of Keira's shoulder, and out of reflex, she had turned around and gripped his wrist and pinned them him to the lockers. People turned and glanced their way, but Keira quickly released the one she had attacked, as she knew he was a student at the school, and not a threat. Keira grumbled slightly under her breath, and closed the door to her locker.
Keira knew the guy, he was a senior in several of Keira's classes, and he had been given the best grade in their history exam the year before. He was extremely attractive, with overgrown shaggy bronze coloured hair that fell over his pale leaf green eyes that contained a slight amount of brown in them. Keira noticed that he was slightly above Derek's height, with full red lips and she felt a smirk tug at her lips when she saw that he had, what is considered, a bum chin. She had attended Middle School with him but she couldn't quite place his name.
"What do you want?" She asked bluntly, pulling her handbag tightly over her shoulder and turning her eyes to him. He was smirking at her, and shrugged.
"You're a blunt woman, you know that Rosier?" He grinned. "You honestly don't remember me?"
Keira frowned. "Should I?"
"I took you to the middle school dance, when we were thirteen, remember?" He said, and Keira suddenly remembered who this guy was. She remembered his Irish accent, his handsome features and his cocky attitude.
"Noah," she said, causing Noah to grin more widely. "What do you want?"
"Well, our senior prom is next weekend and I wanted to ask if you wanted to go with me." Noah said with a smile, one of his hands in the pocket of his jeans, while the other hung by his side.
Keira stopped, seeing Scott, Stiles and Lydia ahead and standing around Lydia's locker. Scott and Stiles were glancing at Keira, and she knew Scott was listening to her conversation with Noah.
Scott left the school with his two friends following behind him, as Stiles was giving him a lift home and Lydia's car was parked right beside the jeep. What surprised the three teenagers, though, was Derek's black Camano to be parked on the other side of Lydia's convertible. He was leaning against the side of his car, with his hands in the pockets of his signature leather jacket and his sunglasses covering his eyes.
"What are you doing here?" Stiles asked him as he fiddled with his car keys. Scott raised an eyebrow at the sour look on Derek's face.
"You're an idiot," Lydia muttered, but Stiles didn't need to be a werewolf to have heard what she was saying.
"What? Why?" Stiles asked, and he was clearly offended, but Scott laughed.
"He's waiting for Keira," Scott said as he opened the door to his friend's jeep and threw his jacket and bag on the backseat.
"Where is she?" Derek asked in a husky voice while removing his glasses. Lydia shrugged.
"Probably with Noah Gilbert," Lydia said without looking up from her cell phone.
"I can't believe you know he's name." Stiles mumbled.
Scott looked over at Derek, and didn't like what he saw. He was clearly angered, and his hands had become clenched at his sides, and his eyes were hardened and focused purely on the three teenagers in front of him. He obviously didn't like hearing that his girlfriend was talking to a different guy.
"Who's Noah Gilbert?" He asked with his teeth clenched together. He wasn't jealous, he told himself, but was more cautious.
"He's a senior in some of Keira's classes." Scott said quickly. But Lydia couldn't miss out on pissing Derek Hale off.
Lydia shrugged. "Correction: he's a cute single senior in some of Keira's classes."
This didn't make Derek feel better whatsoever, but he still wanted to hurry up and find his girlfriend. "So, where is she?"
"Hopefully making out with Gilbert," Lydia said absently.
Stiles groaned widely, throwing his head against the door of his jeep. "Goddamn it, Lydia, shut up!"
Derek stared at girl that he clearly didn't like, and who didn't like him in return, and waited for her reasons behind the comment. Scott hadn't said a word, as he knew of Derek's temper and he also knew that getting rid of that jealousy wasn't going to be easy.
"Lydia..." Stiles started.
"What?" Lydia turned around and saw the expressions on their faces and sighed, turning her eyes back to Derek. "I like him more than you, and besides, he's cute."
"He isn't cute." Stiles mumbled. "He's a dick."
"For once I'm agreeing with Stiles." Derek said in a cold tone.
"You don't even know him." Lydia said.
"He doesn't need to," Scott said as he turned around, seeing Keira and Noah slowly walking out of the school. Derek's eyes were instantly on them, his green eyes ablaze.
"Sorry, I can't go to the prom with you." Keira turned around, so her back was to her friends, and faced the human senior. "I have a boyfriend."
The smirk on Noah's face didn't leave it. "I know."
"You know?" This surprised her.
"Yep," Noah shrugged. "He's name is Derek Hale, right? The scary guy that hangs out with the sophomores McCall and Stilinski sometimes, yeah I know about him."
Keira laughed slightly under her breath. She never thought of Derek as scary, and it made her laugh that others did. "So..." Keira bit her bottom lip, glancing at the fellow eighteen year old with amusement. "You knew I have a boyfriend, that I don't intend on leaving, and yet you still ask me out?"
"Yes," Noah nodded his head with a grin "I know it's risky of me to be asking out the girlfriend of a guy I'm a bit wary of, but hey, what's life without a little risk?"
"But if you knew I had a boyfriend, why did you ask me out? You had to know I would say no." Keira said softly. Noah smiled crookedly.
"I like to take my risks, and anyway, Hale is too old to come to the prom, so I figured we could maybe go as friends."
Keira smiled slightly, not being to fight the urge to smile. "You don't want us to be just friends, Gilbert."
"No, I want to go out with you." Noah said bluntly, causing Derek to growl heavily. "But you're taken...for now."
Keira opened her mouth to reply but Derek had pushed his way towards them, grabbing Keira by her arm and pressing his lips firmly against hers, for a solid second, because the next, she was standing behind him, and he was standing in front of Noah Gilbert, who looked very taken back and frightened.
"Go near my girl again and the next time I won't be threatening you, I'll be ripping your throat out." Derek growled at Gilbert and wrapped his arm firmly around Keira's waist and she was being pulled back to his Camano.
Keira slowly opened her eyes to feel the sun directly in her face, and she grimaced at the burning feeling her eyes got. She stretched her arms in front of her and that's when she took in her surroundings, and remembered she wasn't at home. That's when the memory of what happened the night before flooded her mind, and a wide smile appeared on her face.
Suddenly, an arm wrapped around Keira's bare waist and Derek leaned his head against her back. Keira could feel his body heat and the steady beat of his heart pressed against her back. He left a kiss on her shoulder, which is when Keira realised he was already awake. She bit her bottom lip to try and prevent herself from smiling any wider, but she couldn't help it as Derek placed his lips against her neck.
"I know you're awake." He whispered. "I can hear your heartbeat."
Keira giggled, and turned around so she was facing him. Like Keira, he was naked, but the blankets were covering their bottom halves. She looked up at him, and saw the smallest of smiles on Derek's beautiful face. It was a rare but gorgeous sight and she knew to treasure it.
"What are you smiling at?" Keira asked as she cupped his face, and leaned her forehead against his. She already knew why he was smiling, but she just wanted to hear it from him.
"You're smiling, too." Derek commented as he lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers gently. The kiss was short and simple, but Keira could still feel the butterflies in her stomach.
She closed her eyes, and their noses brushed against the other. She wrapped her arm around Derek's shoulder and his fingers started to draw patterns on her bare hip. The silence continued for ten minutes or so, but Keira wanted it to last forever. She knew it was early, only around 8 or 9am.
Out of nowhere, the sound of Derek's cell phone was heard, and the couple both groaned as they sat up and Derek wrapped his arm more firmly around her waist so she was leaning against him. They both leaned against the headboard.
"Can't I just ignore it?" Derek groaned as he planted a kiss on the side of Keira's head.
Keira smirked, climbing onto Derek's lap and straddling him. It was a bit awkward, as both of them weren't wearing any clothes and Keira was sitting on the blanket that was covering her boyfriend's lower half. Keira and Derek both leaned forward until their lips were inches away, but then Keira's smirk widened and she pulled back and grabbed Derek's cell phone from his beside table.
Isaac's name was flashing across the screen.
"It's Isaac," Keira whispered to Derek with a smirk. She handed Derek his cell phone, and grinned when she felt something brush hard against her from beneath the blanket.
Derek had his eyes closed and although he was holding his phone, he didn't answer it and soon the ringing had stopped. After a moment, his leaf green eyes reopened and all Keira saw in them was pure lust. He growled deeply, and the phone flew from his hand and he had flipped Keira around so he was above her. Keira smiled as she wrapped her arm around his bare shoulders and pressed her lips against his. One of his hands gripped the headboard, while the other went to her thigh, and she wrapped one of her legs around his waist.
"Derek? Are you here?" The sound of Scott's voice echoed throughout the loft.
Both Keira and Derek ignored Scott's voice, and continued with what they were doing. Derek's lips had lowered to her neck as he pressed his body closer against hers.
"Maybe he isn't here," Isaac told Scott as they wandered around the loft's main room and couldn't see the Beta werewolf anywhere.
"He might still be asleep." Scott commented as he walked towards Derek's bedroom with Isaac following behind him.
Scott saw that the door was ajar, and pushed it open, expecting to see Derek asleep in his bed. However, what he and Isaac saw made both gasp and quickly turn around. Derek was in bed, but he had Keira pinned down and they were quickly getting very busy. Both were clearly naked, although their lower halves were covered by the blanket and Derek had his chest pressed against Keira's, preventing the two teenage boys from even catching a glimpse of Keira's bare chest. They both knew what Derek would do to them if they were caught trying to get a peek of his nude girlfriend.
Upon hearing their gasps, both Derek and Keira turned their faces towards the door and saw Scott and Isaac turn their backs quickly. Keira felt humiliated, and quickly shoved Derek off of her and grabbed her t-shirt off the floor before pulling on her pants. Derek sighed, and pulled his own jeans on, but he didn't care if the two saw him naked, as all he wanted was them gone.
"What the hell do you two want? We were busy." Derek grumbled to Scott and Isaac.
Both turned around, but paused, until they saw that Keira was wearing her clothes and Derek was staring at them with his arms crossed over his bare chest.
"We could see that." Isaac commented.
Scott shook his head. "We were wondering if you'd seen Stiles, but I guess we could come back another time."
"Please knock next time." Keira whispered, knowing the two werewolves had heard her. "It would save me the humiliation,"
Derek raised an eyebrow at his two fellow werewolves. "Look, I'll help you find Stiles, but I would like a shower first. We were pretty busy last night and I could do with a wash."
"What? I didn't need to know that!" Isaac grumbled as he quickly left the loft, with Scott laughing and following behind his friend.
Keira waited for the slam of the loft door before she smacked Derek's arm. "Did you have to talk about our sex life like that?"
Derek smirked widely. "Well, until last night we didn't have a sex life."
Keira groaned, but Derek had already wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer with their lips moving in sync. His hands snaked under her shirt and lifted it over her head, before sliding her trousers down her legs. Keira smirked broadly as she unbuckled Derek's jeans.
Finding Stiles could wait.
