Stiles stopped listening to Scott mid-sentence, his head turning as she walked past him, giving him a shy wave, her brown curls falling down her back. It took Scott a moment to realize his best friend wasn't listening but it didn't take him long to notice why. He chuckled as Stiles sighed wistfully, his chocolate brown eyes following her as she walked to her locker, her best friends were with her as Lydia continued to blabber on, seemingly not noticing that Quinn wasn't even listening to her; Lydia just liked to talk. Allison caught Scott's eye and smiled sweetly, something that made the werewolf's eyes wobble.
"Could she be any more perfect?" He whispered, leaning his head against the locker behind him.
Scott continued to watch Allison. "No, she's...great just the way she is." He smiled.
Stiles smacked his friend's arm. "I was talking about Quinn!"
He shrugged innocently. "I keep telling you to ask her out."
"It's easier said than done!"
"I asked Allison out."
"Quinn isn't Allison." Stiles hissed, disliking the comparison, as he could never imagine looking at the other brunette like he did Quinn. "She's..."
Scott raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Quinn?"
"Exactly!"
Stiles Stilinski couldn't remember when he realized he fell in love with Quinn Aelius but he always knew she was more than just a pretty girl that walked the halls of his school. Of course, he had never known how right he had been. Quinn was never just human like the Sheriff's son. Her parents, Melody and Liam, were just as well known in the supernatural world as Allison's family. They were hunters themselves, until Quinn's father grew ill and was offered the bite and wanting to live to see his child grow up and to stay with his wife, he accepted, only for his body to reject it. Shortly after his death, Melody revealed to her daughter that she would be a big sister, and was pregnant with another child, a child that would never know her father like Quinn had. Now raising two daughters alone, Melody moved her girls to Beacon Hills and attempted to keep them out of the mess of the supernatural as much as she could. Naturally, that became difficult when the Argents moved to town and Quinn became instant friends with Allison after an introduction from Lydia. She was always going to be part of the mess, but she wasn't naïve nor stupid. She could handle herself.
Little did the boy know, Quinn adored the brown eyed boy just as much as he loved her. She always had. Who wouldn't? Stiles was cute and brave and strong and he always found ways of making her laugh without trying. He was stronger than people thought and wasn't scared to stand up to people, similar to Quinn herself. But despite her bravery and willingness to help everyone she could, she never had the courage to tell Stiles how much she felt for him. She was afraid that he wouldn't feel the same and it would ruin their fragile friendship. She despised the way he watched Lydia Martin and was sure he adored and loved her redheaded best friend. Quinn was to oblivious to see that it wasn't Lydia that Stiles was always watching.
"God, this is getting old." Scott grumbled, causing his friend to glare in his direction. "I'm sorry but it is, man! You like her and she likes you so do something about it!"
Stiles went bright red. "She doesn't like me."
"She's looking at you right now!"
Scott had spoken too loudly, because the girl in question yelped under her breath and pulled her brunette friend in front of her before Stiles could catch her staring. Allison frowned before glancing over her shoulder, the two boys waving at her before she awkwardly did the same, feeling the tension. Lydia glanced between her friends before gasping, slapping Quinn's arm.
