The seventeen year old witch barely said her spell before it escaped from her wand, firing at the Death Eater that had his back to her, about to curse at an unexpecting Hogwarts student. Reyna Westford didn't wait any longer in the same place before running forward, cursing anyone she knew wasn't on their side. She was looking for anyone she knew, but it was her father and best friend she desperately wanted to find. She loved her friends, but those two meant the most to her; they were everything to her. She was willing to die for her school and for her fellow members of Hogwarts and the Order, but she needed to know her dad and George was breathing and safe.

Rey was a witch, which wasn't a surprise, naturally, because of what school she went to. She was in Hufflepuff, but don't look down on her for that, because Reyna was as brave and as loyal as you could get. She was beautiful with blonde hair and blue eyes and she was hopelessly in love with George Weasley. George was her best friend; he always had been. She was friends with Fred, too, but he wasn't the closest person to her and she didn't blush whenever he touched her. George was more than good looking, his charm and his natural ability to make Rey laugh made her love him more than anything. It was to bad she had yet to tell him that fact.

Now she never may.

Dodging the Killing Curse narrowingly, Rey turned to the Death Eater responsible for almost stealing her life and didn't hesitate before throwing her own spell back.

"Expelliarmus!" The wand flew out of the wizard's hand. "Flipendo!"

The boulder that had been knocked from the Hogwarts building flew backwards into the Death Eater, successfully knocking him out. Rey felt a yelp escape her lips as she threw herself onto the pavement, feeling the overgrown spider scatter past her without another word. Her eyes widened when she saw Ginny Weasley with her back to the approaching threat and without a second throat, Rey rushed to her feet, her wand at the ready.

"Ginny!" She screamed. The redhead turned as the enormous spider prepared to attack. "Reducto!"

The spider exploded, it's guts flying in every direction as Ginny ducked to avoid the mess, giving Rey a thankful smile before dodging a Giant as it slowly made it's way past her.

As she sprang forward, a root caught her ankle and she fell forward, collapsing onto the ground. She cried out as she felt her elbows bleed upon impact but she didn't have time to feel that pain before she heard the familiar, terrifying words fall freely from someone's lips.

"Crucio!"

She screamed, her voice echoing as the curse took control of her body, causing it to spasm and shake without control. Her wand slipped out of her fingers but the Death Eater standing above her paid it no mind as he watched with his dark irises filled with insanity, as the blonde screamed in pain. He was prepared to kill her, but her cries only made him want to hear more. He wanted nothing more than to see her suffer.

Knowing she couldn't surrender so easily and she couldn't wait for someone to save her, Reyna saved herself by breaking free of the torture curse long enough to kick the Death Eater's shin. It broke his concentration long enough for her to reach for her wand and knock him unconscious, but when she stood, she only collapsed back on her knees as they trembled with shock over what had happened to her tortured form. She allowed herself to adjust to standing before making sure she wouldn't suddenly faint. She needed to be on full alert. She couldn't afford to break down and fall unconscious.

Rey ran forward once more, but within minutes, she found what she had been searching for. She felt like her whole world had stopped as she saw a familiar arm sticking out from under the corpse of a Death Eater who looked no older than Reyna herself. She allowed herself to cry out as she collapsed onto the ground, shoving the disgraced teenager aside as she inspected the silver watch, her eyes falling on the dead body of Norman Westford, the man that had raised her from birth. Her mother, Elizabeth, was dead and Norman had been Rey's world for most of her life. He had been there when others hadn't been. When she and George fought, when she felt like she had no one, Norman was there. She loved her dad with everything and now he was lying dead on the pavement.
