Theo called her Apple Eyes. She never got crushes, but he was different. She was never one to drool over a boy and she never let one make the decisions for her. She didn't need a boyfriend to define her. Losing her mother at a young age and growing up with a single father and a protective yet idiotic brother did that to her. But despite this, she was extremely loyal to her friends as well as her instincts and a naturally clumsy person that always put a smile on even the most serious of people; such as Derek Hale. She was unintentionally irresistibly hilarious. April was eighteen years old and the goofy best friend of Lydia Martin and Kira Yukimura and a proud member of Scott McCall's pack. She didn't care that she was human.

Years before, she remembered meeting and having a crush on her classmate, Theo Raeken, who was unlike the other kids in her class, who always had a way of making her laugh. He was adorable, sweet and he always helped her up when she fell. Who wouldn't like that? He was the only crush she ever had, and she was sure he liked her back, which is why Stiles never liked him, despite him and Scott often hanging out with him. Theo was the one that started calling her Apple Eyes, due to her bright green colored eyes that stood out. She and Stiles looked alike in almost every way, sharing their features from their mother, both having straight dark chocolate colored eyes and pale skin and soft features. But April's eyes made her different - their father claimed they were the same color as his own mother's. And Theo took notice. He said it was what made her stand out. He was the only boy to ever catch April Stilinski's eye. Then he moved and she never saw him again.

Then he came back...

"Hey, guys." She greeted her brother and his girlfriend, Malia, as she jogged across the parking lot towards them, her hair flowing down her back. Just as Stiles and the girl beside him turned to face her, she released a high cry of surprise as she tripped and Malia was quick to hold out her arms to catch her; she had spent enough time with April to pay attention when she was around. "My bad?"

"It's always your bad." Stiles grumbled under his breath.

April raised an eyebrow. "Who pissed in your Cheerios?"

Malia snorted. "He doesn't trust Theo Raeken."

She thought about Theo, but she was coming up empty on why she shouldn't trust him. She barely saw him the night he revealed his werewolf status before Stiles whisked her away, but she did notice the way Theo looked so viciously handsome. The fact that he was a werewolf took her by surprise but it was annoying how all those old feelings came rushing back. He claimed he only wanted to join Scott's pack but the way he smirked at her charmingly made her believe that perhaps Theo still liked her; it was idiotic but she couldn't help but think that way. It was irritating.

"He's got great hair, perfect body. You should definitely feel threatened." She blinked back into reality to hear Malia say and she followed her gaze to see Theo waving in their direction, his face stretched into a handsome smile. His eyes caught April's and the smile stretched.

"Good." Stiles snapped. "Because I do. Now." He turned to his sister and sighed dramatically. "Seriously?"

She blinked, turning to her twin brother, who constantly reminded her that she was eight minutes younger than he was. "Hmm?"

"So the guys here, the good guys aren't good enough for you?" Stiles snapped. "You don't date anyone, but the second he comes into the picture, you're all girly!"

"Girly?" April snorted.

"Why are so suspicious of this guy?" Malia questioned Stiles as she turned to face Theo again. He was making his way towards the school, his eyes darting towards April every few seconds.
