i noticed a boy come towards me and glared at him but instead of running away he sat down right in front of me and looked down at me with soft eyes.

don't these humans realize how invading such behaviour is?

i growled and his big black eyes widened. i growled again because i like scaring kids.

girl : don't be scared of him. suga is just a mischievous cat.

girl, i am murderous not mischievous.

the boy looked surprised as he looked over his shoulder to find a girl with two pigtails staring back at him with innocent eyes.

she crouched down beside him and smiled at me gently.

it's not like i melted or anything but when she patted my head, i let her do it.

boy : you seem familiar with cats

the girl chuckled and faced the boy for the first time. i could tell he was flustered by the sudden eye contact as a blush creeped up on his face.

tsch humans are so predictable.

they see a chubby cat and proceed to become slaves for it or on relatively rare occasions they see another pretty human and lose all sense of speech.

just meow and move on.

girl : of course. i volunteer at cat shelters. this dude ran away because the lady who came to adopt him smelled too good.

a slight smile appeared on the boy's face as the girl scrunched her nose to describe the horrendous perfume.

boy : cute

girl : i know right! suga is so cute

the boy chuckled and i knew he didn't think i was one bit cute. who cares what he thinks.

boy : what's your name?

girl : yoon ji-hye. yours?

the boy hesitated a little as if he didn't want to share his name.

boy : jay.

jihye : cool. anyway, why were you sitting here so sadly?

jay : you saw me?

jihye : you have terrible survival sense. i have been staring at you for 5 minutes.

jay : why were you staring at me?

look at him smirk as if he is so cute. but jihye looked like she did find him cute. i purred to get her attention and she laughed before stroking my head fondly.

jihye : because you looked so down.

jay : i was feeling a little lonely. but i feel a lot better now. 

jihye : where are you from? you don't sound korean.

jay : LA. i still have a little difficulty with korean.

jihye : you can speak in english, i understand it.

jay : you do?

jihye nodded and jay bit the inside of his cheek as he thought of what to say.

jay : did you fall from heaven?

the girl blinked a few times and i was sure it slid right off her brain. it's so much easier to lick the girl to confess. when will these uncivilized creatures understand?

jihye : i am fine thankyou and you?

jay's laughter was so bright that it could undead the unalived. he looked so happy as if he just got a cardboard box.
