flashback mingyu pov:

a bell jingled as i entered the shop. i looked around but it seemed empty. now i understand why jihye wondered how they aren't bankrupt yet. 

i was checking out the place when suddenly someone tapped my shoulder making my heart jump out of my chest. 

juhee: sorry did i scare you?

i sighed, embarrassment creeping in as i realized she was standing behind me. she hurried towards the counter and wore her ridiculous hat.

juhee: you are welcome to my shop.

juhee bowed and i was surprised to see that she could act like a normal person. she led me to a table and i sat down as she grinned politely. she pulled a chair and sat down across me.

juhee: jihye isn't here today 

mingyu: i know. i am here to eat.

she rested her head on her hands and i fiddled through the menu nervously as her gaze seemed to be piercing through me.

juhee: you like her don't you?

mingyu: how do you know?

juhee: the last time when you came to pick her up, i noticed it.

mingyu: didn't you almost faint?

juhee chuckled and i was surprised to see that she wasn't embarrassed at all.

juhee: i thought one of my posters came alive. 

mingyu: you have my posters?

juhee: i have a wall dedicated to you.

waah. that's too much. 

mingyu: aren't you embarrassed?

juhee: what's embarrassing about that? i support your career by buying your magazines.

she pouted and i realized that she was right. carats are weird but at least they use their weirdness to support us.

she has no shame in exposing herself. what a confident girl. she took my order and i waited silently for the dish to come. last time i came here, it was to see jihye and the place looks so empty now that she isn't here. she is probably climbing the mountain hand in hand with shua. 

i sighed and took out my phone to pass my time. 

juhee: here it is

juhee exclaimed and placed their special fried chicken on the table. i didn't want to eat alone with my depressing thoughts and since there were no other customers i decided to ask her to sit with me.

she told me about how much she likes me while i ate silently. i didn't actually understand most of her rambling but it was good to have a background noise.

juhee: you look sad again today. 

mingyu: i am not.

juhee: you are here because you miss jihye right?

how does she know that? it's true that i only came here for jihye but it would be rude to say that especially when juhee invited me here as well.

mingyu: she recommended this place to me.

juhee: aww. you like her so much. i tried my best to make her realize that you are the best but jihye doesn't value her privileges. she is so lucky, i have seen kim mingyu, yoon jeonghan and hong joshua pick her up!

mingyu: i don't like her that much.

juhee giggled and i could tell she didn't believe me. i don't believe my self either. it's not easy to forget someone so quickly.
