Everyone's voices were faint, almost distorted.

Carmen could barely make anything of it.
All she could see was black.
And her body was stiff.
She couldn't move.

She was being pulled somewhere.

The sounds...there's beeping.
Machines powering on.
Someone typing on a keyboard and...someone's shouting.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" They repeated, "is she okay?! Please."

"I'm so sorry-" a woman replied, agony in her voice, and regret? Or maybe guilt?

"YOU'RE SORRY?!" He shrieked, "WHERE IS SHE?!"

"Sir," a calm voice spoke, "you need to calm down, we're taking care of her right now-"

"Carmen," he paused, "please be okay. We need more time. So, please."

More time.
Harvey. I want more time.

This can't be it.

Please.
Just a little longer.

I need more time.

I'm not done.
Not yet.

Please.

"So you two actually got together, huh?"

Harvey turned to face the man beside him, "Pierce? Why are you here?"

"I brought her in," Edward fidgeted, "she seemed okay, I don't know what happened."

"What did happen?"

"She was just pitching her idea, nothing she hasn't done before...I don't know why..."

"She's really passionate about this project," Harvey smiled, "and also, outside stress..."

"Trouble in paradise?" Edward laughed lightly.

"Something like that," Harvey sighed.

"Already?" Edward shook his head, "well whatever it is, just don't be an idiot. She's one in a million. Is it worth losing her?"

He thought for a second, "no."

"Hm," Edward smiled, "then work it out."

"Yeah," Harvey smiled sadly, "I hope we get the chance to."

"Please, don't be dramatic!" Edward groaned, "she'll be fine. Don't worry too much - you'll get wrinkles."

"Mhm,"

"You know the off chance you two don't make it...I'll take care of her." Edward patted Harvey's leg.

Harvey furrowed his brows, "what?"

"Hm?" Edward looked away, "nothing."

"You-"

"Liah Williams?" A doctor shouted grabbing their attention, "is there a Liah Williams here?"

Harvey looked around, trying to locate her but she wasn't here, "she's not here right now, um I'm Harvey Specter-"

"Relation?" The doctor asked.
