Chapter 32

SAKURA POV

The next morning I wake up with a jolt as I have another nightmare. I lift my head up and look around the room and my eyes land on Yami as he sleeps soundly, with his arm draped over my waist.

I run my face, feeling it wet with tears and I draw in a shaky breath. I then carefully slip out of bed, not wanting to wake my boyfriend and I walk into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

I lean over the sink as I look in the mirror noticing bags forming under my eyes.

"I look like a mess" I said to myself as I turn on the water and splash my face.

A light knock on the door makes my jump a bit with a small squeak.

"Sakura love?" I hear Yami's voice from the other side of the door. "Are you alright?"

I grab the towel hanging on the hook next to the sink and I dry my face. "Yeah I'm ok" I said as I walk over and open the door to see yami in all his shirtless glory.

"Are you sure?" He asks as he cups my face in his hands. "You're eyes look a bit red"

I grab his wrists in a comforting way. "I'm ok my pharaoh" I replied with a small smile. "I'm just tired"

He looks at me with slight concern and kisses me on the forehead. "You know I'm here if you need anything" he said "just name it"

I get on my tippy toes and give him a peck on the lips. "And I appreciate you for that" I said "I promise I'm ok"

He hums in response and gently tugs me back towards the bed and we lay down facing each other and we start chatting a bit.

There's a knock on my door and Yami gets up to answer it.

"Ah Mokuba" he says "what can we do for you?"

I sit up and lean over to look at him.

The small raven haired boy looks at me with a smile. "Seto wanted me to let you guys know that we're going out for breakfast if you two wanna come"

Yami looks at me with a raised eyebrow and I nod. "Let us get ready and we'll meet you guys downstairs" I said.

Mokuba gives me a thumbs up and a toothy smile and runs off as Yami closes the door.

"Are you up for breakfast?" Asked Yami as he sits on the edge of the bed.

I nod. "I feel like getting out of the house will do me some good right now" I roll out of bed and head to my closet and pull out a green sundress and disappear into the bathroom to change. I walk out as I brush my hair and yami is already dressed in his jeans, Black tank top, and leather jacket.

I slip on my black flats and I grab my purse from its place on the dresser. "Okay I'm ready" I said

Yami smiles and walks over to kiss my lips. "You lol beautiful as always" he says making me blush. He then takes my hand and we head downstairs where my dads and Mokuba were waiting for us.

"Good morning daddy Joey and papa Seto" I said with a smile.

Seto gives me his slight smile. "Good morning sakura" he says before looking at Yami. "Moto"

Yami nods back in response. "Good morning to you too kaiba" he said making me giggle a bit.

"So where are we going?" I asked

Joey grins. "I convinced blue eyes to take us to a little breakfast joint in town" he said

"Just this once" said Seto with a huff.

I laugh as we all head outside to the limo and we all climb in and the driver pulls out of the gate.

We have a quiet ride and we end up at an ihop and I laugh as Seto's face turns into one of slight disgust.
