(Trigger warning advised)
The echoing of people fighting filled the room from the training room next door and as Elsa approached with the sound of black heeled boots hitting the hard stone floor a smirk washed over her lips. she picked up the long Metal stick that was placed on one of the racks of weapons that was used for training and glanced in the mirror as she walked past. Her sapphire blue eyes bounced back in their reflection staring back with no emotion and clouds of judgment. her long platinum blonde hair placed neatly in its long French braid that sat on her shoulder. she could hear her own fellow teammates training together as they made clashing sounds of the metal bars and the sound of laughter that echoed throughout the room.
Elsa "aren't you supposed to be training and not messing around?" she asked rolling my eyes.
Teddy "Come on have a sense of humour." He giggled.
Grace "Yeah, come on lighten up your too serious." She chimed.
Elsa "being childish isn't going to kill the monster who killed my parents is it? At least I take this seriously and don't mess around." She huffed.
Teddy "You'll find him. And besides its not like you don't know who it is. I'm surprised that you haven't gone after him yet." he confessed.
Elsa "I'm waiting for the right moment, you know this." she shrugged her shoulders.
Grace "If you wait any longer, you'll miss your opportunity." she said playing with hem the leather gloves on her wrists.
she opened her mouth to speak but a voice from behind me cut her off before doing so.
"I think she's doing just fine by what she's doing." The voice boomed.
Teddy "Sorry sir, we were just...."
Mr Black "You were just what?" He snapped.
Teddy "I...." He stuttered unable to finish his sentence.
Mr Black "That's what I thought. And that's why Elsa here is number one around here."
Teddy "Sorry sir, we'll start training properly" he looked to the floor carefully casting his eyes up towards grace who grinned back at him when Mr black wasn't looking.
Mr black "Now Winters, come in my office, won't you? I need to explain the plan for the next mission".
Elsa "O-Okay." She stuttered.
Elsa shifted her feet towards the weapon area as she saw Mr Black with his hands in his pockets of his trousers heading forwards his office. As Elsa placed the metal bar back on its resting place her blue eyes caught the mirror again as her reflection stared back at her with urgency of panic.
Her feet swiftly walked across the room and towards Mr blacks' office and when she finally opens the door and lets herself in, she see's him staring at her with his deep brown eyes that are full of danger. His black-tie dangling down as both his hands grips either side of his desk with loaded anger in his veins. He slams one of his hands down on the desk with a loud bang and Elsa jumps. She had gotten used to his temper tantrums over the years for working for him but, now and then they still made her jump when he would smash or throw something across the room. Every time she was left alone with him it made her heart thump loudly against her chest, her palm of her hands would become sweaty from nerves and even though she'd been trained to feeling nothing sometimes just sometimes she wished she could feel something so she could react to things she was supposed to. As her mind processed the scene before her, she felt his hot breath suddenly on the back of her neck and fingers grazing her skin as he pushed her French braid further to the side. The metallic taste of metal burned her throat and as she tried to ignore it, she squeezed her eyes shut knowing what was about to come.... She felt his lips press on the top of her blonde hair and his hands make there way down to her waist. Her body shuddered at his sense of touch, his fingertips grazing her skin as they found there down.
Mr Black "This is why you're my number one." He whispered closely to her ear.
The loud sound of the alarm blaring throughout the room made Mr Black jump back as he heard the door open suddenly with a bang. Elsa who stood frozen looked at Grace who was staring back with confusion in her eyes glanced behind her as the squad ran around the rooms collecting their weapons.
Grace "Elsa, we need you. time to go." She hurried out the door.
Elsa's boots were glued to the floor, her heart pounded loudly as she tried to move but her feet wouldn't. she heard the sound of Blacks feet carry themselves to his desk where he continued to go through his computer for what was going on. When she heard her name being called once again from outside of the room she jumped, and her feet suddenly started moving and charging throughout the hall.
Teddy "Elsa heads up!" he said throwing one of her many weapons towards her.
Elsa caught her gun quickly swinging it through the air before attaching it to her black belt that was now around her waist. She quickly placed her leather jacket onto her shoulders as she picked up another gun from the weapons station and once, she she ran towards the others.
The mission they had was simply take out the enemy and return to the base. Elsa's heart thumped as she heard the voices in the room. She held onto her gun tightly holding it close to her chest ready to aim. She could the slight whispering of the other teams mates as they walked out the double doors to their mission the cold breeze hitting their cheeks as Elsa held onto her gun that was strapped to her side. It wasn't until they heard the loud coughing that they quickly turned around to face the entrance seeing Mr black staring at them with his dark eyes which were full of hate.
Mr black "Remember team you better not disappoint me, or else".
"Yes sir" they chimed.
Mr black "And Elsa?" He said.
Elsa "Y-yes?" She stuttered.
Mr Black "You know what the consequences are for not getting what I want." He grinned.
Elsa "Y-yes Sir." She went quiet.
She faced the others who were staring to walk away with the dour looks upon their faces, her body shuddered at the thought of failing the mission and what the consequences would be. She could still feel the lingering sense of touch from him as she continued to walk by her team. His fingertip seemed to burn into her skin and her mind never let her forget what happened to her.....
The smell of the fresh air made her lungs sing that room of hers grew dusty and old as she constantly trained to get better at what she was good at doing. She couldn't remember the last time she even had a full nights sleep without her mind reminding her of the thoughts that consumed her brain late at night when she alone. As they continued to walk down the grey pavement towards their vehicle Elsa stepped back glancing at the black and red motorbike.
Elsa "I'll take my motorbike." She said.
Teddy "Oh come on we don't bite! And you know fine well Black doesn't like it when you ride that thing." He states.
Elsa "I-I don't care what he thinks." She stuttered collecting her helmet off the seat as she fiddled with the straps.
Teddy "Elsa? Are you all right?" he says moving his hand forward to touch her shoulder.
Elsa jumps backwards, her long French braid swings behind her and hitting her back.
Elsa "Don't touch me! Leave me alone!" she said as she swung her leg over the bike and turning the engine on as she heading towards the mission.
Teddy watched Agent Winters ride off towards the mission leaving him and Grace behind, the gut feeling he'd had since leaving the corporation was manifesting into something more. His short blonde hair swished around in the slight cold breeze of wind; his arms were crossed against his chest while he faced Agent Harlowe who was fidgeting with her heavy black boots. He tugged at his black jacket hearing the other Agents talking in the vehicle behind him.
Grace "What's wrong with her?" she asked, Strapping her gun tighter onto her side.
Teddy "I have no idea, but whatever it is I don't think it's good." He said looking up at his sister with sadness in his Hazel eyes.
Grace "I agree I felt like there was something going on when I went into the office but, Come on lets go before we're late." She said rushing towards the vehicle.
Teddy looked up at the building as his heart skipped a beat, he could feel the sweat from his palms growing as his thoughts continued to concern him with his theories.
