Chapter Twenty-Six-Results.

Location: Nicks Office. Time:11.00pm 

Later that morning.....

Nick sat in his office when the knock on his door alerted him someone was there, he pushed his chair away from his desk lifting his feet to meet the ground while he walked across the room and opened the door. The long platinum hair rested on her shoulder as he heard her take a deep breath while stepping into his office, Nick's heart loudly hammered against his chest remembering the last time she'd been in his office. The sudden knocking on the door made his eyes smile as he saw Grace stood at the door, she had no lab coat on which indicated she hadn't been at the lab yet. Grace took a seat while Elsa sat quietly and while Nick took to his seat once again, he beamed a smile at both of the girls.

Nick "Okay so as you know I brought Grace here, just to make you feel more comfortable. I did message Jack, but he must be busy. Anyways Grace told me about the results of your medical."

Elsa "I failed them, didn't I?" she grew sad.

Nick "No actually you didn't.... you passed with flying colours. We're just concerned about one thing." He smiled at her again.

Elsa "And what's that?" she asked.

Grace "Where worried in case while on a mission you have a panic attack." She says.

Elsa "I didn't think about that." she looked down at her lap fidgeting with her fingers from nervousness.

Nick "We were thinking you could talk to someone? You know if you want to?" he suggested.

Elsa "What like a therapist?" she panicked.

Grace "Well that's an option if you want it, but I think Nick means someone you can lean on and talk too for now." She corrects.

Elsa "I don't know... I don't feel right talking to a stranger." She tugged at the sleeve of her shirt.

Nick "What about Jack? I know you two were best friends at some point and you seem to be getting on." He speaks.

Elsa "Me and Jack aren't really speaking right now." She blushed.

Grace "Why not? What happened?" she asked.

Nick "Yes is everything alright? Do I need to talk to him for you?"

Elsa "No.... everything's fine we just haven't spoken much the past few days." She said with a heavy heart.

Nick "Is there a reason? Did you guys fall out or something?" he questioned.

Elsa "No...." she trailed off.

Grace "I'm sure whatever happened between you two can be resolved after all, you seem quite close even after It being five years." She grinned happily at herself.

Elsa stayed silent she didn't really know how to respond back to what they were both saying to her and how could she? After all they didn't know that Jack had confronted her about the fact, he knew what had happened to her. They didn't know that they'd kissed, and he'd walked away leaving her feeling a mixture of heartbreak and happiness. Another half of her didn't know how to feel all she wanted to do was to run to him and hug him for comfort, she'd even thought about stopping by his room but then restrained herself the idea due to the fact she had no idea if Jack even wanted to see her. He could have regretted the kiss for all she knew....

Nick "Elsa?" He said breaking her out of her thoughts.

Elsa "Ermmm yeah?"

Nick "You alright?" He asked.

Elsa "Sorry yes, I'm okay, I was just.... thinking" she blushed.

Nick "As Grace was saying I'm sure you two will work everything out, just let him cool off first before you go speak to him."

Elsa "I don't even know if he wants to speak to me." She grew sad again.

Nick "Oh I'm pretty sure he'll want to talk to you no matter what." He grinned.

Elsa "I don't know....." she trailed off again.

Nick "Do you have anyone else to talk too?" He asks.

Elsa "Not really"

Nick "You could even come to me or Grace if you felt comfortable too." He smiled.

Elsa "Thanks I'll think about it."

Grace "You did really well on those tests Elsa you should be proud."

Nick "I know I am." He beamed a smile at her.

Elsa had found herself outside Nicks office in a daze after the meeting that had just taken place about the fact she would be passing her medical to actually start training. It wasn't until she heard Graces voice that pulled her out of it.

Grace "Hey, are you sure everything's okay?" she asked sweetly.

Elsa "Yeah I'm fine."

Grace "Its just.... You look like you could do with some rest." She confessed.

Elsa "Yeah.... I was nervous about today and whether I would pass." She lied.

Grace "Oh Elsa, you should have known you would have. Honestly your really good at what you do Elsa don't doubt yourself, anyways I must dash I have something I'm working on!" she quickly sped from the spot beside Elsa.

Elsa "No problem see you later..." she trailed off.

She sighed feeling the weight of her lies building up against her, she felt knackered to say the least and all she wanted to do was flop onto her bed and sleep for the rest of the day..... only that wasn't the case. She'd spent the rest of the night tossing and turning waiting for sleep to overcome her, but nothing seemed to help. She had tried listening to the music station on the tv and even watching a movie, she had jogged on the spot and even tried to meditation..... but when she closed her eyes all she could picture was the flashes of imagines that made her want to vomit again. The overwhelming feeling of wanting to cry had hit her hard when it had come to stepping out of her room again late this morning after peeling herself from the bathroom floor.

"Hey Elsa, everything okay?" the voice asked from inside the hallway.

Elsa flinched from her thoughts as she saw Hiccup staring back at her with confusion.

Elsa "Oh hey Hiccup, yeah everything's fine." She hugged herself.

Hiccup "Are you sure? You seem like you need to blow off some steam." He says.

Elsa "Yeah.... I guess its just a lot to all take in at the moment with everything that's happened." She confessed.

Hiccup "Well if you ever need anything you know where to find me." He smiled.

Elsa "Thanks." She smiled back.

Hiccup turned on the spot heading back towards where the others would be until he heard a voice call his name. He spun back around only to find that the voice belonged to Elsa, he walked back quickly.

Elsa "Actually you wouldn't mind showing me where the training room is would you?" she asked.

Hiccup "Sure follow me." He smiled taking the lead.
