Elsa's heart broke, it was right about now that she would normally help herself to Pitch's whiskey cabinet to drown her sorrows after an awful mission but right now as she felt her feet stuck to the floor, she knew the guys would be waiting for her. She could feel herself trying to move in any way possible in order to get there but something about seeing Jack all sad and upset made her heart ache a little more. she knew she loved him and that was the reason why she had to break up with him after all don't they say, "If you love them set them free?" and in Elsa's case she loved Jack in more ways than she knew how to express to him.

Elsa's heart was heavy as she made her way to the guys, ready to suit up for their mission. She found them gathered around, preparing their gear. Jack was there too, but his usual vibrant energy was replaced by a sombre silence. He seemed distant, his eyes avoiding hers.

As Elsa stepped forward, Jack finally looked up and tried to approach her. "Elsa," he began, his voice trembling with emotion, "can we talk?" he reached a hand towards her to take hers.

She took a step back, her heart aching, yet resolute. "Don't touch me, Jack," she said firmly, "Leave me alone." She whispered trying not to let her heart spill out in front of him.

Jack's face fell, the pain evident in his eyes. He wanted to reach out, to mend the rift between them, but Elsa's words kept him at bay after all he couldn't know why she broke him with him even if she was breaking them both from the inside.

Nearby, Hiccup stood watching the tense interaction unfold. He had suspected there was something between Elsa and Jack, but now it was clear that their relationship was more complicated than he had realized. He wondered what had happened between them to cause such a raw and emotional confrontation. He had watched as Jack had been quite through the meeting, his ruffled hair seemed flat and the bags under his eyes suggested the lack of nights sleep that he had mentioned, and Hiccup began to wonder that the couple had, had a fight to cause this distances between them but he didn't want to pry, and he knew Jack would talk about it when he was ready.

Elsa turned away, her resolve unwavering, as she focused on the mission ahead. Jack remained where he was, lost in his turmoil, while Hiccup tried to piece together the puzzle of their secret relationship that he had knew about for a while.

Despite the tension between Elsa and Jack, they knew the mission was paramount. Elsa took a deep breath, focusing on the task at hand. She moved toward the equipment table, checking her gear with meticulous care. Jack, though visibly hurt, did the same, his movements mechanical and distant even when his heart was breaking the quick glances towards Elsa seemed to still take his breath away and even though she had told him to stay away all he wanted to do was sweep her up and hold her in his arms.

Hiccup, sensing the need to diffuse the tension, stepped forward with a reassuring smile. "Alright, team," he said, his voice steady, "let's make sure we're all set. We need to be sharp out there."

Elsa nodded, her resolve unwavering. She double-checked her weapons and communication devices, ensuring everything was in perfect order. Jack, meanwhile, adjusted his gear, his eyes flicking occasionally towards Elsa, silently hoping for a sign that things might mend between them.

Elsa's minds span she knew how important it was stay focused on mission but, the ache in her chest kept reminding her of the pain she had caused the two of them and the fact she couldn't stop secretly glancing towards him every time he turned to check his gun on the strap of his leg. It reminded her of the time when he had helped her break back into the Blacks corporation to collect her files, it was also the time where they had shared some intimate moments together.

Once they were ready, the team headed to their transport. The atmosphere was heavy with unspoken emotions, but they all understood the importance of their mission. They boarded the vehicle in silence; each lost in their thoughts.
