Location: Nicks Office.  Time: 10.00am the next day.

Grace was currently in a rush as she whooshed around the lad grabbing the tablet that had information she needed to show Nick, she knew she was going to get into trouble, but she needed to show him it was important. She glanced at the clock that sat above the door instantly cursing under her breath as she was already late for her meeting with Nick. She quickly placed the lanyard around her neck taking a glance around the lad to make sure nothing was left out that someone could steal away. She locked the door behind her, her feet ran across the wooden floor until she reached the door where Nick was working behind and once she knocked and entered inside she found Nick was already busy having a conversation.

Nick "You know you supposed to check on her".

Jack "And I will I promise as soon as were finished here that was my plan."

Nick "We still haven't finished questioning her either we need to do that you know its procedure" he says noticing Grace in the doorway.

Nick "Oh Grace! Sorry I forgot we were supposed to have a chat, Agent Frost was just leaving." He glares at him.

Grace "Actually Nick, Jack will probably want to stay for this. If he's allowed of course? "she asks.

Nick "Sure if that's what your wanting, but what was it that your wanting to discuss? It sounded urgent." He says seriously taking a seat at his desk.

Grace "Well, I know your not going to be happy and this is against protocol, but this can't wait." She says pulling her table out from under her arm as she swipes across the screen.

Nick "Okay, Grace you know how things work here if its any information on someone else it should be classified and not Infront of other Agents."

Grace "I know I'm sorry, but remember the other day when Elsa had a panic attack and later that night she was admitted to the ward by mine and Jacks hand? well its my duty to find out what this illegal drug is all about....... Which is why Elsa was unconscious I did a full body scan on her."

Nick "Grace! You know you shouldn't be doing that without permission." He sighs.

Grace "But I found something, I know I wasn't supposed to say anything, but I was doing some tests on one of the cases we found on our mission."

Nick "What does this have to do with Agent Winters?" he asked gesturing for them both to take a seat.

Grace "It has everything to do with Elsa, Nick I know what's happening to her." She says.

Nick "Go on proceed."

Grace "When I processed her DNA scan it came up with not only hers, but she had traces of the serum Pitch has been using on people to train them. It explains the way she is and how she doesn't process emotions right now." She pulls her DNA results up on the screen showing them to them both.

Jack "Wait so your saying that she has been injected with that stuff? Then how come she didn't remember when you asked her if she had?" he chimed in.

Grace "Well when I asked her she clearly couldn't remember, either she's telling the truth or she's covering for him."

Jack "So how do we get that poison out of her?"

Grace "It's already making its way out of her."

Jack "What do you mean?" he asks.

Grace "Look here, if you glance up at here you can see I'm monitoring her and by this its telling me she's already detoxing. Who knows how often you have to be injected with that stuff, as long as we try and keep her away from him he cant use it again on her." She says showing the screen again seeing the blueprints of Elsa's skeleton counting down in the percentage of how much of the drug she had left in her system.

Nick "Does that say...." He trails off looking at the screen.

Grace "It does" she nodded,

Jack "Does that mean? shit...... she came to my room the other morning asking if I would speak to her but then she left." He suddenly felt guilty.

Nick "Wait you told her where your room was?" he asked grinning like an idiot.

Jack "Not like that Nick! I gave it to her so if she needed to talk or anything she could come find me and now I feel like an idiot for watching her leave."

Grace "Why did she leave?" she asked curiously.

Jack sighed deeply not knowing what to say.

Nick "Jack? What aren't you telling us."

Jack "Fine I was with Tiffany when she came, she answered the door," he trailed off.

Nick "Oh so the rumours are true then?" he asked smiling again.

Jack "No there not actually, I am not dating Tiffany if you must know." He snaps.

Grace "Not what I heard." She giggles.

Jack "Its true were not dating were just......."

Grace "Fuck buddies?" she replies.

Jack "If you could call it that."

Grace "What do you mean?" she asks.

Jack "Well we don't do that anymore.... we just hang out she's a good listener okay." He shakes his head seeing the smile on people's faces.

Grace "Maybe you should tell that to Elsa." She smiles.

Jack "Why would Elsa want to know that for? Its not like were even friends anymore."

Nick "You know what I don't get? If she can't feel any emotions why is she so angry?" he asks.

Grace "Oh that...." she trails off.

Nick "What you think there's something to it?" he asks again.

Jack "Actually I've been meaning to ask something, the other day when you were talking about something that happened. Elsa got really angry and started throwing up, you said you'd seen something what was it?"

Grace "Jack that's not my place to say." She stands awkwardly in nerves.

Nick "Prehab's Jack you should go and check on her like you said you would." He says giving him a look.

Jack "I will go now." He stands from the chair his mind swirling at his thoughts.

Nick "Grace we can continue our talk."

Grace "Sure, I have something I'm working on I want to discuss."

Jack closes the door as he feels his heart thump out of his chest, the thought of forgetting to check on Elsa made him worried with guilt that she could possibly going through something alone even when he'd asked her to come to him with anything only to then be busy. His mind swirled back to that night, why didn't he just grab hold of her and pull her inside his room its not like him and Tiffney had be doing anything other than watching the tv and drinking some whiskey. He didn't even notice when he'd approached the door of Elsa's until he thought he could hear his own heart getting louder by the minute, what was she doing to him? He knocked loudly against the door waiting for a moment as he heard no footsteps from inside coming to the door. he knocked again but nothing..... he then thought had she escaped? Surely they would have known by now. He grew more worried with every moment he waited, he hadn't told Elsa, but he had a spare key card in case of emergencies and his gut feeling was telling him he needed to use it. He tugged his pocket reaching inside and taking the spare key care and swiping it across the magnet. The shot open with a click and as he walked inside seeing but darkness around him, it wasn't until he heard the crying that it made his head spin to the bed.

"Elsa?" he called her name but there was no reply.

"Elsa?" he called again.

He couldn't help but hate the scene before him, hearing her cry while she slept in the darkness during the day it broke his heart and made it bleed for her. He wondered what she was crying about as he slowly approached her and sitting on the very end of the end of the bed making sure he left her space.
