Elsa sat on the couch of hers and Jacks apartment, the colours of different coloured blues and white decorated around them. It wasn't until Jack came speeding over handing her a cup of hot coffee before sitting himself beside his girlfriend who had been in deep thought since getting back from the conversation with Nick.

Jack "So... what are you planning on doing?" He questioned his hands wrapping around the mug carefully.

Elsa "You read the letter you know what my mom said, I just can't help but still feel like I need to get justice before I think about anything else." She confessed as she took a sip from the hot mug still steaming in her hands.

Jack "That's understandable Snowflake." He nods with a reassuring smile.

Suddenly a faint knock at the door caught them off guard turning his head to the sound he raised a brow wondering who it could possibly be. They had only just left Grace and Nick to do whatever task they needed to do next in the day. Jack quickly found his feet walking over room to open the door when Nicks face beamed a smile back at him.

Jack "Nick?" he questioned why he was here.

Nick "Hey Jack, I know we've only just left each other but there's a couple of people at reception for you." He smiled again.

Jack "There is? Who is it?" he replied.

Nick "How about you go and find out?" He smiled widely gesturing over his shoulder into the hall.

Nick turned on his heel as he smoothed his suit jacket and strutted towards the end of the hallway leaving Jack with a sense of curiosity fluttering in his chest. But before even got the chance to think Nicks voice boomed once more. "Oh, and you might want to take Elsa with you!" Jack glanced back at Elsa, giving her a quick, reassuring wink before stepping back into their room with a face full of confusion, his footsteps echoing softly on the polished floor of the wood. He couldn't help but wonder who Nick was talking about? But then again there was only one way to find out?

As Jack moved toward the door, Elsa called after him, her voice tinged with curiosity. "Who was it, Jack?"

Jack paused, glancing back at her with a slight shake of his head. "It was Nick—he said there's a couple of people at reception here to see me. He didn't say who, just that maybe you should come along too." He offered a reassuring half-smile before heading out, his footsteps fading as Elsa quickly set down her mug that she'd gotten while Jack had been at the door and rose to her feet, the air thick with anticipation. She walked over towards Jack who was currently grabbing his leather jacket and whipping it over his shoulders while quickly took his hand into hers.

"Jack? Who do you think it could be?" she questioned.

Jack "I'm not sure....but we should probably go find out." He replied.

Elsa "What if...its someone who's going to hurt you?" she said her voice soft and full of sadness suddenly.

"Snowflake, I don't think Nick would come to me personally if it was someone who would hurt me." He giggled slightly.

Jack squeezed her hand gently, trying to reassure her despite the nerves bubbling beneath his calm façade. "No one's going to hurt me, Elsa," he said quietly, determined to project a sense of confidence he didn't fully feel. "Whoever it is, we'll face it together." With a deep breath, he opened the door, the corridor bathed in the soft glow of evening light as they stepped out side by side, ready to confront whatever awaited them at reception. Jack found his fingers holding onto Elsa's a little tighter as they made there way down the hallways approaching reception suddenly.

As they neared the reception, the familiar hum of quiet conversation and distant laughter seemed somehow muted, replaced by a hushed anticipation that made Elsa's heart race. Jack glanced at her, sharing a knowing look, as if silently promising that whatever lay ahead, they would face it together. The sight of two figures waiting just beyond the polished counter came into view, their postures tense yet expectant. Then, as Jack stepped closer, recognition dawned—a rush of warmth flooding his chest as he realised it was his parents. A wide, genuine smile broke across his face, the earlier apprehension melting away into joy. He squeezed Elsa's hand, his eyes bright, and whispered, "It's... It's my parents." Relief and happiness radiated from him as he moved forward, eager to embrace the family he hadn't expected to see.
