Jack felt his eyes flutter open the bright light of sunlight shining through the window as he suddenly heard the ringtone blaring out loud in the room. He jolted up from his spot inside the covers as his hands suddenly felt the coldness in the air, he watched as Elsa stir in her sleep while he collected his phone and swiped the screen lowering his voice as he answered to the other voice on the line.

"Hello?" his morning voice rang quietly.

Nick "Morning, sorry if I woke you?" he wondered.

Jack "It's alright, what's up?" he replied rubbing his eye with his free hand as the smell of coffee burned his nose hoping he would soon get some.

Nick "Did you get my text last night?"

Jack "No.... sorry... we fell asleep."

Nick "Well I just called in case; I know Hiccup gets inpatient sometimes I text to let you know there's a meeting later."

Jack "Oh crap really? What time?" he asked turning his head as he checked the clock on the bedside table.

Nick "Its only ten. You've got plenty of time don't worry." He chuckled lightly.

Jack "Good, I don't want to wake her just yet." He peered down looking at his sleeping girlfriend.

Nick "Is she okay?" he replied.

Jack "Yeah, she did wake up once though. I think she had a nightmare." He sighed.

Nick "I'm sure she'll talk about it when she's ready. Anyways the meetings at one but, I'll let you go."

Jack "Thanks for ringing Nick I appreciate for telling me."

Nick "Nonsense its what I'm here for."

Jack heard the other end click off as he placed his phone back onto the bedside table snuggling back down into the sheets as he turned himself to face his girlfriend who had tossed and turned at some point of the night ending with her waking up. He'd asked if she wanted to talk about it, but she had responded with "Let's just go back to sleep." He wondered if that god awful man had been lingering her mind but something about this time made his stomach swirl with a weird sense it was something more, usually she would happily talk about what happened while he held her close, and she let out her tears.

The morning light filtered through the curtains as Jack and his girlfriend, Elsa, stirred and began their day. He gently nudged her awake, and they shared a moment of quiet intimacy, wrapped in the warmth of the morning.

After getting dressed, Jack remained observant, ensuring that Elsa felt supported and loved he didn't want to feel like she had to say what happened only that she knew he was there in case she did. Her earlier distress seemed to fade as they moved through the morning routine, sharing smiles and brief kisses as they giggled as they messed with each other.

As the time for the meeting approached, Jack and Elsa found themselves standing in the middle of the room, their paths converging in a tender embrace. Jack held her close, feeling her heartbeat against his chest, and whispered reassurances meant to soothe any lingering anxieties.

"Ready to face the day?" he asked softly.

Elsa nodded, a serene smile gracing her lips. "Yes, let's go."

Together, they stepped out, hand in hand, heading towards the meeting with a renewed sense of unity and strength.

The group stood amidst the white table, waiting for Nick, their conversations filled the room with a light-hearted atmosphere as they exchanged jokes and laughed. Jack could see the camaraderie evident in their faces, the bond that had formed over time. Each joke brought a chorus of laughter, and each story shared forged a deeper connection among them.

Elsa, now more relaxed, mingled with the group, her smile bright and her laughter genuine. Jack watched her with a sense of relief, glad to see the distress of the night before had dissipated. He joined in the banter, sharing his own anecdotes and feeling the warmth of solidarity.

As the minutes ticked by, the anticipation for Nick's arrival grew. The group didn't mind the wait; they were immersed in the joy of each other's company, the white table serving as a silent witness to their shared mirth and the start of what promised to be a productive meeting.

Nick walked into the room files filled his arms as he hurried to place them down onto the table, in the other he held a mug of fresh black coffee as the smile appeared on his lips seeing the group talking amongst themselves.

"Hey guys."

Hiccup "Ah Nick there you are!"

Nick "Yeah, sorry I'm a bit late I had files to get." He replied.

Kristoff "Nonsense we were all early anyways." He smiled placing an arm around Anna who stood beside him with a smile of her own.

Anna "Yeah its fine! Besides, we were all talking so don't worry about it." She beamed.

Nick "Well now that I'm here I wanted to discuss the conclusion of where I am with Elsa. I know you've all been working hard together to try and figure what teams best for her and I'm glad to say I've finally figured that out."

Elsa suddenly felt nervous hadn't this been the plan the whole time? Its what she had been training with the group for, and it wasn't like this was a surprise but something with today was making her stomach do somersaults with nausea and as she waited for the results from Nick she couldn't help but take Jacks hand into hers entwining her fingers with his while he quickly glanced at her without a second thought. She felt his blue gaze on her as she looked up seeing his perfect blue oceans smiling back at her.

"So come on tell us!" Flynn said abruptly breaking the eye contact from Elsa and Jack turning their heads towards Nick again.

Nick "Well.... I've decided that Kristoff, Merida and Flynn your team is staying the same as for the rest of you..... Anna and Punzie I want you to Join Teddy and Grace on a team."

Anna "Wait really!" she said excitedly.

Punzie "Cool!" she jumped up and down on the spot.

Nick "Yes well, I know Grace doesn't really go on the field, but I feel like when she does you're the right team together now for the last team..."

Flynn "Hiccup dude you owe me ten bucks!" he chuckled.

Hiccup "Aww fuck sake rider! I can't believe you were right" he shook his head.

Jack "Wait so that means Elsa is with me and Hiccup?" he asked.

Nick "That she is, I decided not only for her benefit of knowing and getting along with you most she also gets along with Hiccup quite well and all of your fighting skills go quite nicely together so therefore it made my decision I hope that's alright?" he replied.

Hiccup "Of course, I think that's a perfect decision are you alright with that Elsa?" he turned to face her.

Elsa "Oh...Yes of course! It'll be fun being on a team with you two." She explained.

Nick "excellent! That's great news to hear and obviously you'll all still work on missions together when its necessary." He nodded collecting the files that were on the white table in front of him.

Hiccup turned on his heel to face his friends while Elsa felt the nerves in her stomach, she wondered if the right had been made and if she was going to be a good addition to her teammates and most of all she was worried in case she messed up somehow.

"Don't worry you'll be awesome on the team." Jack whispered quietly.

Elsa "You think so?" she whispered back to him.

Jack "Of course, I know you will be." He smiled down at her.

Flynn "Hey lovebirds! You two coming for some food?" he yelled giggling to himself.
