(Trigger Warning ⚠:Mention of Blood)

Elsa "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.

Jack "I didn't think you'd notice." He confessed removing himself from hovering over her as he laid back down beside her while she snuggled back into his chest. Her heart pounding at the thought of being back in his arms while her stomach fluttered with butterflies swirling around with nerves of love.

Elsa "I was bound to see it at some point."

Jack "Your right." He sighed deeply.

Elsa "So.... How come you didn't mention it before when we were talking about mine?" She asked.

Jack "You...you remember Emma, right?" He replied, his heart racing.

Elsa "Your sister? Of course, I remember her why?" She said feeling a pang of sadness in her gut.

Jack "She.... She was in an accident...." He said holding the tears back with all his might.

Elsa "Wait what? When? How?" She stuttered over their words from shock.

Jack "It was...a year after you left...." he fell silent.

Elsa "How did it happen?" she asked softly.

Jack "Emma... and mom were driving back together and.... a drunk driver hit them...." he stopped himself his heart continuing to pound against his chest.

Elsa "Jack? what aren't you telling me?"

Jack "What makes you think I'm not telling you something?"

Elsa "Because I know you.... there is okay right?" she panicked.

Jack shook his head his lips unable to move as his mind went blank, he had no idea how to say what he wanted without showing his emotions but reminding himself that showing Elsa that opening up wasn't a terrible thing his heart leaped. He felt the palms of his heart grow sweaty at the thought knowing she was waiting for an answer.

Elsa "Seriously Jack? Please tell me there both okay."

Jack "Its.... Emma.... she.... s-she d-didn't make it." He stuttered nervously.

Elsa sat up quickly as she glanced down at her boyfriend who she could see was fighting back tears of his own and as she looked away wrapping her arms around her knees that she brought to her chest she felt a few tears run down her own cheeks. She felt the mattress dip as her boyfriend sat up snaking an arm around her waist and pulled her close to himself, his chin rested softly on her shoulder while she stared into space.

Elsa "A-all this t-time......you've been dealing with your own problems....and you let me rant about my own? W-why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Jack "Because.... your scenario was serious, and we needed to help you." he explained.

Elsa "And you aren't serious? Jack, you lost your sister."

Jack "And you lost your parents what's the difference?"

Elsa "Does everyone know?" she asked stubbornly.

Jack "Mostly not everyone though."

Elsa "Were you planning on telling me?"

Jack "When the time was right yes." He replied.

Elsa "I should have known...."

Jack "Known what?"

Elsa "From your tattoo that something happened. I should have put two and two together when you first even mentioned the car accident, angel wings...."

Jack "You have Angel wings too Elsa...." He trailed off.

Elsa "Yes.... But everyone knows about what happened....to my parents...." She said feeling the guilt rise through her body.

Jack "Not exactly...... we know somewhat of what happened but not everything..." he explained.

Elsa "You don't want to know what happened..."

Jack "You can't keep it a secret forever Elsa. it's a heavy event that you carry on your shoulders with much guilt." he replied.

Elsa "Its my burden to carry, it was my fault that I couldn't save them."

Jack "Is that what you really think?" he asked.

Elsa "Surely you understand.... with your sister.... you feel like...it's your fault, like you should have done more to.... help to stop what happened.... which is why I .... I need to get my revenge." She confessed.

Jack "Your right...I do know what its like to feel like it's your fault.... But I learnt the hard way that sometimes things happen in your life that you can't control.....as much as I wanted nothing more than to trade places with my sister.....I couldn't.....and I let it consume me, and I don't blame you for wanting revenge Elsa they were your parents you loved them dearly."

Elsa "What do you mean by it consumed you?" she asked.

Jack "I wanted Revenge.... Like you....and it was the only thing I could think about when I first joined the institute, and I broke the rules a lot to get there."

Elsa "Is that why Nick wanted you to look after me when I first came here?" She asked.

Jack "Yeah and that we used to be friends." He blushed.

Elsa "Do you think that it's a good thing that I should get my revenge?"

Jack "He killed your parents and tortured you he deserves more than anything you give him. He should rot in hell for all I care." He said feeling the anger rise throughout his body.

Elsa "Did...Did you get your revenge?" She stuttered slightly as the nerves hit her suddenly at the question.

Jack sighed heavily the question burning his mind as he took a few moments to think about it. The tingles of pain washed over him as he remembered his victim pleading for his life as he held the gun to his head, the cries leaving his lips as he trembled at the sight of Jack who had a look of the devil across his face his gun loaded and aimed as his finger played with the trigger. The sound of his chuckle hit the fresh air as the man continued to plead for his life as he knelt on his knees, he tugged on his leather jacket as he crouched down and lifted the man's chin with his fingertips smiling like the devil himself.

"Please don't do this." The man pleaded.

Jack "You should have thought of that when you killed my sister...." He said in an evil tone.

"Your sister?" he asked.

Jack "Yes, my sister, you're the idiot drunk driver that crashed into their car. Does that ring a bell?"

"Shit..."

The gunshot rang throughout his ears as the man laid on the floor the blood splattered on the floor, turning around and swinging his gun back into the leather strap he started to walk away the wind blowing in his white, blonde locks as a grin swiped across his lips.

The memory faded away as he snapped out of his trance his eyes welling up from the moment he had gotten his revenge. He shook his head suddenly realising that he was still holding his girlfriend in his arms while she waited in the silence the had grown between them.

Jack "Yes I did." He replied quietly.

Elsa "What.... What did it feel like?"

Jack "Surreal." He responded.

Elsa "Jack?" she said sitting up slightly as a blush spread across her cheeks.

Jack "Yeah?"

Elsa "Did you really mean what you said earlier?"

Jack "About what?" He asked.

Elsa "About.... not having to do anything." She said shyly.
