Winters Revenge

Chapter Twenty-Seven-Denial.

Location: Training room 1.  Time: 12.50pm. 

Jack picked up his gun swinging it around and firing at the pretend outline of a person, swinging his legs into the air and doing tricks he fired again only to be interrupted by his best friend Hiccup who had his arms crossed firmly against chest tapping his foot as he waited patiently. Jacks Colbat eyes darted across the room as he stood up from the floor and disarming his gun.

Jack "Hey hiccup everything okay?" He asked.

Hiccup "You tell me? Is Everything okay?" He aimed the question back at his friend.

Jack "What do you mean?" He said placing the gun back on the table along with the other training ones.

Hiccup "You seem distracted, I don't know what happened between you and Elsa the other day but, it seems have kept you busy." He wondered.

Jack "Nothing happened between us, we just talked." He said placing both hands on either side of the table his heart thumping at the question.

Hiccup "Jack.... I know you and I know something must have happened between you two I mean it's so obvious that you like her" he smiled.

Jack "Even if I did like her nothing would be able to happen." He confessed.

Hiccup "Why not? She likes you too I can sense it and whatever has happened with you two just needs to be cleared up. Why can't you just admit that you do like her?" He asked.

Jack "Because if I admit it.... I don't think I could distance myself from her." He sighed.

Hiccup "then why do that in the first place just tell her how you feel and what you want."

Jack "It's not that simple hiccup, she's been through a lot and I.... don't want to add pressure on her." He stood up straight his arms crossed as he shuffled his feet from nerves.

Hiccup "you really do like her, don't you?" He giggled slightly.

Jack "This is serious hiccup." He said in a stern voice.

Hiccup "Your so in denial" he chuckled again.

Jack "I think you're delusional."

Hiccup "Oh really? And why's that?" He asked.

Jack "Because whatever you're thinking off isn't true."

Hiccup "What so you're not madly in love with a woman you've pined for since school?"

Jack felt the crimson blush spread across his chest, his eyes directing looking into hiccup as he stood in shock from his friends' words.

Jack "I'm .... not in love with her, where did you get that impression from?"

Hiccup "It's written all over your face! And besides it's not just me who's noticed ever since our mission with getting Elsa back to this incorporation you've done everything in your power to keep by her side."

Jack "And can you blame me after what I found out? She's been through a lot of what do you expect me to do?" He shrugged his shoulders.

Hiccup "you know there's so much more to it than that and yes whatever she went through must be traumatic for her to lock herself in the questioning room." He smiled.

Jack "You didn't see half of it, Hiccup, she was afraid of even being alone with Nick."

Hiccup "With Nick? But he's the sweetest man alive" he raised a brow.

Jack "Exactly my point." He folds his arms.

Hiccup "Shit.... I'm sorry I didn't want to pry but...."

Jack "It's not my place to say anything hiccup."

Hiccup "It's fine I get the memo, why don't you just go to her anyways?" He asked.

Jack "maybe I'm scared."

Hiccup "Oh my god you are so in love with her man!"

Jack "again I don't know where you got this assumption from but..."

Hiccup "oh stop fooling yourself." He snickered.
