Six weeks after the defeat of Pitch Black.......
Elsa sat in the kitchen focused on typing away on the laptop Nick had given her so she could do the paperwork of the night she took down Pitch. The council had insisted that even though it was the enemy they'd been waiting to defeat they wanted filed professional. Jack strolled through the door, his head held high as his confidence filled the room. His smile brightened as he stopped at the chair opposite his fiancé Elsa.
Jack "Hey, how's it going?" He asked.
Elsa "I'm just about finished." She replied as Grace walked over with a steaming mug of coffee in her hands, handing it to Elsa carefully.
"Here's that decaf you wanted." Grace smiled walking back over to the counter where her own coffee was waiting.
"Thanks Grace." Elsa spoke pressing her lips to the mug.
"Decaf? Since when do you drink decaf coffee?" Jack said confusingly.
Elsa shrugged. "Its...just better for you, isn't it?"
Jack "Snowflake, in the whole time you've been back not once have you drank decaf."
Grace "Oh here els, I forgot your pancakes." She placed the plate on the table beside Elsa's laptop.
Elsa "Thank you!"
Grace "Anytime" she replied.
Jack stood gobsmacked "Okay, what's going on with you?" he asked.
Elsa "What? I'm Hungry."
Jack "Since when has your appetite come back?"
Elsa "I don't know." She shrugged.
Elsa quickly dug into her food, finishing of her coffee she swung ger legs around as she stood from the chair, grabbing the laptop and holding it under her arm she smiled at Jack and Grace who had joined her at the table.
Elsa "Okay, I'm going to see Nick. I'll catch you both later." She walked out the room.
Jack "Okay, what's going on with her?" he gestured pointing at the door as Elsa left.
Grace "Not my place to say." She shrugged the smile on her lips never leaving as she got up herself.
Jack "Wait so you know?" He quickly responded.
Grace "Again, not my place to say you'll have to talk to her yourself later." She smiled gathering her own stuff and heading out the room.
Later that day Elsa and Jack returned to their apartment after their busy days, ever since she'd left him earlier Jack found himself wondering what was going on with Elsa still.
Jack "Are you going to tell me, what's going on with you now?" He pleaded wanting answers.
Elsa "What do you mean?"
Jack "The eating again.... the decaf coffee.... and everything."
"There's nothing to say..." she replied.
Jack "Come on, we promised each other no more secrets."
Elsa "There are no secrets Jack, I promise."
"Fine.... We're still on for training with Hiccup tomorrow, right?" Jack asked sitting on the couch.
Elsa "Ermmm...I'm not sure if that's a good idea for me." She said nervously.
Jack "For you? we always train together what's the sudden change?"
Elsa "I just.... don't think it's a good idea; I want to be careful."
