Puvi
I was restless. I couldn't stay away from her and before I could stop myself, I'd drive my bike to her college. It was astonishing—these distinct feelings were weird.I'm becoming crazy, a good type of insanity that demands nothing but her.
Halting the bike at the college entrance, I contacted Dhana. She didn't attend the first time but when I rang again, she did. "Come out. Let's have lunch out in a restaurant. I'll drop you back in the college before your classes resume," as I put forth my words, I received no reply from her for a few seconds.
But then she booms, "You're out of your mind Puvi! I don't want to go out with you," I smile at the alertness her voice held. "You don't? Well, that's sad. I thought I wouldn't have to drag you out of your class. However, your non-compliance has me hop off my bike and come in search of you," Getting down the bike, I was sauntering inside the college when my eyes met her form standing on the second floor.
I wave my hand at her.
"Why...are you doing this!?" She stresses on the phone. "Haven't I said the reason already?" She whimpers on the other end.
"Come out quick. Your lunch break ends at 1.30 pm. We don't want to delay your classes now, do we?" I disconnect the call and watch as she rushes inside her class.
A while later, she ambles out of the main gate of the college and I sit back on the bike, ushering her to take a seat behind me.
With a glare sent in my direction, she obliges...
I could feel her affection for me even when her face depicted reactions that said otherwise. If only I hadn't hurt her the way I did, this moment would've been more beautiful.
Nevertheless, I'm on a mission to melt her. This might turn her fierce but If I stay away from her as she wishes to, I could not ever make her forgive me. Besides, I'm not capable of maintaining my distance from her. It's quite odd yet I can't seem to object to the order of my heart.
At present, as I drive through the busy road, Dhana is quiet. I watched her face through the side mirror and found it displaying irritation—that's cute.
She hasn't even placed her hands on my shoulders for balance. She had instead clutched the back curve for support.
It was a deliberate act when I went through a speedbreaker and caused her to bump against me. Her breasts mashed on my back and the dumbfounded look that painted her countenance had me stifle my laughter.
"You did that intentionally, didn't you?" Her hands now grip my shoulder. "Yes," she just fumes upon heeding my response.
Just then, we reached the restaurant and I stopped the bike in the parking area. Dhana was swift as she got off the bike and headed to the restaurant alone. Her movements exhibited her aggression but I couldn't help finding her actions adorable.
Seconds later, I entered the restaurant and noticed her seated in the AC compartment of the restaurant. She was going through the menu and tossed me a glance when she noticed me enter through the door.
Perching across her, I keep peeking at her and after a point, she hides her face entirely behind the menu. "Not daring enough to face me?" She rapidly spots the menu on the table.
"It's not that I'm not bold enough to face you, Puvi. It's about my displeasure and dislike to behold you," that stings. But I conceal it behind my nonchalant smile.
"Anyway, what do you desire to have for lunch?" She takes another look at the menu and stares at me with a spark in her eyes. "The bill is on you, isn't it?" Er...she seems to be planning something.
"Good," a genuine smile coats her lips and I thawed seeing it on her after a long time...
Once the waiter arrives, Dhana excitedly sets her orders, "...chicken biriyani, chili chicken, chicken 65, chicken lollipop, and butter chicken. Then I need shrimp curry, shrimp fry, crab fry, fish fry, and vegetable noodles. Also, two scoops of vanilla, butterscotch ice cream, one mango lassi, and finally, one Oreo shake....that's all," the waiter had a stunned look on his face as he finished writing and jotting the order.
My state was the same as the waiter.
"Sir, you?" He questions, seeming confused. "Veg fried rice," he nods and moves away.
"Can you eat all of that?" She bobs her head in a yes. "Your classes resume at 1.30. Are you sure you can finish all the food before 1.20 pm?" She again jerks her head positively.
"How could you concentrate on class after having such amounts of food? You'll feel sleepy!" She offers me a cool glance. "I won't. I'm not going to lag on my studies anymore," she declares determinedly.
"And look...just because I'm here with you and have decided to eat on your money doesn't mean that I want you—I'm just using you and your money to my benefit," she's a bad liar. I've always had the power to see through her.
"Use me as you desire, Dhana. I won't complain. But If you plan to make me despise you, then unequip it—that would result in utter failure," she annoyedly gazes at me.
"Is this real?" She points her fingers to my face. "It is," I assure her.
Fed up, she shakes her head,
Later, as the food arrived, we washed our hands and began digging in.
Dhana ravishes the dishes and often lets out a few hums in satisfaction. I knew she could eat well...but this is surprising.
While having my fried rice, I turn my head to see the few other people who glance in the direction of Dhana.
"Dhana..." She suddenly burbs back at my call and enlarges her eyes, probably feeling embarrassed.
She was freaking cute.
She has completed more than half of the biriyani and darting her vision away from me, she begins to devour the chicken lollipop.
"Eat patiently. You're going to choke on the food at this rate," she doesn't listen.
As she completes the chicken items, she tugs the plate of crab fry towards her and looks up at me. "I imagine this as you," and she shatters the legs of the crab and clamps her teeth down on it.
Positioning one of my hands on my temple, I balance my elbow against the table and regard the atrocities she was committing with a stern look.
Sharply at 1.15 pm, she puts down the empty container that once carried two vanilla scoops. I was in disbelief...
"Hurry, you've to drop me back in college," she moves towards the hand cleansing room.
Gulping a glass of water, I follow her suit and enter. She dabbed her mouth with tissue paper and picked out a comb from her jeans pocket to straighten her hair.
She glances at me through the mirror but doesn't say anything.
After completing my business, I dropped the tissues in the dustbin and found myself peering at Dhana who was still busy doing her touch-up.
Discerning my eyes, she coldly looks at me and quickly shoves the comb inside her pocket.
When she tries to exit, I pull at her hands and she ends up on my chest with a gasp. She then perks up into my eyes and speaks up confidently, "If you possess any ideas of doing something amorous, forget it— I am not interested in doing that. I'm rooted to my decision. I still don't want you," She closes her eyelids when I peck a kiss against her forehead.
But then she hisses and shoves at my chest before sauntering out...____________________________
