STANDING IN HER DRESSING ROOM, Lilia Conway couldn't help but smile as she eyed the sleek silver dress she was wearing, which was shimmered under the bright lights. Her makeup, dark and striking, made her eyes stand out. Her head stylist, Vayda, worked carefully to make sure every detail was perfect for the tribute interviews.

As soon as she finished, Vayda stepped back, admiring her work, "Lilia, you look absolutely stunning. This dress was made for you. You're going to be the talk of the Capitol tonight."

Lilia smiled, "Thank you."

Letting out a squeal, Selene entered the room, her gaze sweeping over Lilia in awe, "Vayda, you've outdone yourself! And Lilia, you are the prettiest tribute here, they are going to adore you!"

Lilia's cheeks blushed at the compliment. As Selene and Vayda made their final adjustments, she glanced at her reflection one last time, taking in her appearance. The dress, the makeup, the jewelry — it was all breathtaking.

A few moments later, the sound of footsteps approached, signaling that it was almost time for the interviews. Lilia took a deep breath, ready to face the Capitol as she stepped out of the dressing room, making her way down to the lobby of the Tribute Center.

As the tributes gathered in a single file line, Lilia stood off to the side, waiting for Adrian to arrive. As she stood, she could feel a few stares from nearby tributes.

"Wow," a voice spoke, taking the girl off guard.

Turning around, the girl was surprised to see Marvel approaching her.

Slowly, the boy's eyes roamed over Lilia's dress, "Well, well, well. Look at you. That dress is something else."

Lilia raised an eyebrow, "Planning to win over the audience with your charm tonight, Marvel?"

Marvel chuckled, leaning in slightly, "Oh, you know it. But I have to admit, you're giving me some serious competition."

Before Lilia could reply, another boy strode up to the two, his presence instantly capturing her focus. He gave Marvel a brief, cold stare, "Let's not keep the cameras waiting, Marvel. They're ready for you."

Cato.

Marvel straightened, a flicker of irritation crossing his face. The boy gave Lilia one last, lingering look before responding to Cato, "Alright, alright. I'm on my way."

As Marvel walked towards the stage, Cato's gaze focused on Lilia for a moment longer. He almost looked as if he were about to say something, but then immediately shook away the thought of it.
