AS THE TRAIN PULLED into the Capitol station, the sounds of the cheering crowd outside began to grow louder and louder. Lilia moved against Cato, blinking awake. For a moment, she forgot where she was, but then she felt the familiar warmth of the boy's arm wrapped around her and remembered everything.

"We're here," Cato murmured, his voice still raspy with sleep.

Lilia nodded, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. As she looked at the clock beside her, she nearly jumped at the sight. It was ten o'clock. They were arriving in the Capitol.

"I should get back" Lilia whispered to the boy, throwing her legs over the side of the bed.

"No," the boy groaned, holding onto her hips.

Lilia laughed and shook her head, "I have to get dressed. Selene and Vayda are probably panicking right now."

Cato's grip tightened around her briefly before he released her, replying, "Okay. I'll see you soon."

Giving the boy a small kiss on his cheek, Lilia made her way over to the door and stepped through. When entering into hallway, she was surprised to see Katniss and Peeta standing in the dining car, watching her.

Uh oh.

Lilia saw Peeta's expression flicker with shock as he glanced at her. Beside him, Katniss's eyes narrowed slightly. She didn't say anything, but Lilia could see the gears turning in her mind.

"Morning," Lilia awkwardly spoke, nodding to the two of them.

"Good morning," Peeta replied.

Without another word, the blonde girl made her way back to her compartment as quickly as she could. When she returned to her room, she didn't even have time to breathe before the door flew open, and Selene and Vayda raced inside.

"There you are!" Selene exclaimed, her eyes wide with panic. "We've been looking everywhere for you! You need to get dressed immediately."

Beside her, Vayda stood, already holding a strapless, hot pink gown in her arms. Rushing toward Lilia, the girl quickly began helping her into the dress.

"Good morning to you too," Lilia spoke sarcastically, feeling the fabric slide up her figure.

"We're running out of time, Lilia," Vayda replied. "You have to be ready before the cameras catch sight of you."

Lilia barely had a moment to fully wake herself up as Vayda dressed her and Selene fussed over her hair and makeup. Around the room, the rest of the stylists worked with impressive speed as they completely transformed her appearance.

"Perfect!" Selene beamed, adding the finishing touch of sweet-smelling perfume.

With only seconds to spare, they ushered Lilia out of the compartment and toward the exit where the others were already waiting. When approaching the group, Cato's eyes locked onto Lilia's, and a small smirk of approval crossed his face.
