After successfully completing the ritual on his second attempt, Lumian tidied up the wooden table, took out Aurore's witchcraft notes, and began reading the relevant sections by the light of a carbide lamp.

Less than fifteen minutes later, he suddenly had a premonition and looked up, focusing his gaze on the spot near the window.

There, lying quietly, was a folded letter.

"So soon?" Lumian was surprised as he reached out and grabbed the letter.

The reply from Hela, the vice president of the Curly-Haired Baboon Research Society, had arrived sooner than he had expected.

Lumian unfolded the letter and read the elaborately decorated words: "I'm sorry to hear about this. Ever since Maggot missed last month's gathering, I've had a bad feeling."

"This world is full of dangers; sometimes, we can't avoid them even if we want to, unless we can control everyone around us."

"If you wish, you can tell me about the misfortune that befell Maggot. It doesn't have to be too detailed, just a rough idea will do..."

"Since you were able to summon my messenger, it seems you have also stepped onto the path of the extraordinary. I don't know if your sister has told you, but this means you will forever be accompanied by danger and madness. It's important to remind you that restraint and caution are our best friends."

"Afterwards, if you have any questions about the occult, you can write to me. While I am not known for being particularly knowledgeable, I can still answer many questions."

"Maggot and I only met twice in the past year, mainly to discuss matters in the extraordinary realm."

"What left an impression on me was when she mentioned that a friend of hers had been affected by a strange dream and hoped to find a solution. If necessary, she wanted to seek help from a real psychologist..."

Lumian silently finished reading Hela's letter, his facial muscles twitching as if both relaxed and tense.

Aurore had indeed been seeking a way to resolve that strange dream!

Lumian calmed his emotions and began to think about how to reply.

At that moment, he froze.

Based on what Miss Susie had described, a real psychologist should refer to a particular sequence in the Spectator pathway...

Only an expert in this field could possibly stop me from dreaming of that fog-shrouded world...

There was nothing wrong with this, but the problem was that in Aurore's witchcraft notes, the record for this pathway only mentioned the Spectator sequence!

And yet, she clearly knew about psychologists...

Lumian immediately recalled a conversation in his dream: Aurore had mentioned that she knew the sequences for all the pathways and had some understanding of them.

Psychologists are often associated with hypnosis, and a hypnotist is likely to be a Spectator, a sequence in the same pathway, perhaps even higher than a psychologist...

Yet Aurore's witchcraft notes do not contain records of sequences beyond Spectator in that pathway...

Lumian's expression became increasingly serious, tinged with a twisted excitement.

After many days, he had finally discovered something amiss in Aurore's witchcraft notes!

And now, Hela's letter indirectly confirmed that Aurore did indeed know about one or more sequences beyond Spectator in the Spectator pathway and had some understanding of the corresponding abilities.
