Upon hearing Lumière's words, Charlie's body trembled slightly. "You don't want others to know that you've joined the Savah Party?"In his view, whether it's the Savah Party, the Thorn Gang, or any other crime syndicate, the leaders are known figures who use their reputation to intimidate others in the chaotic streets and marketplaces, and the police don't seem to bother them.
Lumière took a sip of sour wine and smiled again. "It's not that important; I'm just reminding you not to talk about things that shouldn't be talked about."
He was now involved with the Savah Party, but he wasn't a leader yet, as he hadn't truly engaged in the core activities of the Savah Party and didn't have many henchmen. He only managed a poor and dilapidated place called the "Golden Rooster Inn."
Thus, Lumière wanted to quickly gain more prominence and raise his status within the Savah Party to complete Mr. K's task.
Completing Mr. K's task was to further gain his trust and favor, to join the organization behind him, and to complete the task of the "Magician" lady.
Feeling a bit uneasy, Lumière rubbed his chin with his left hand.
Charlie cautiously asked, "What things shouldn't be talked about?"
He had some guesses but was afraid of inadvertently angering his friend, who seemed to have no regard for the law.
Lumière smiled, tilted his head, and looked at Charlie. "Don't talk about things related to Susanna or Mathis, including how I threatened her or pretended to be a lawyer to communicate with you at the police station."
He had wanted to advise Charlie on this for a while but hadn't found the right moment.
"Got it," Charlie relaxed and said with anticipation, "I'm going to tell the people at the bar how you knocked over Wilson and chased him out of the inn."
Bragging in the form of a speech was one of his favorite hobbies.
At this moment, Lumière's gaze became a bit more profound. His intuition told him that Charlie would encounter some misfortune soon, but not too severe.
In theory, this shouldn't be related to Susanna Mathis; otherwise, it wouldn't be just a bit of misfortune but a disaster. Recently, it seemed there was no need to worry about Susanna Mathis, but how soon? Lumière analyzed the fortune he sensed.
He had also noticed that, unless the person was extremely unlucky, very fortunate, or there were imminent threats to his life, he had to focus intently to grasp the general fortune of the target through intuition.
This was different from the "hunter's" danger intuition and couldn't be triggered passively.
Charlie's voice grew quieter as he turned to Lumière and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
He seriously suspected that Charles was trying to prank him again!
Lumière smiled. "You should go to the nearest Eternal Radiance Church to pray for good luck, or you might face some bad things soon." He spoke with the same tone as when Osta Truel was deceiving others.
"What bad things?" Charlie blurted out.
The next second, he realized, "How do you know?"
"I guessed," Lumière replied with a smile.
Charlie was slightly relieved, thinking it was just a joke. "Well, I hope your guess is wrong."
"Not possible; it's definitely accurate," Lumière said, sounding even more convincing.
