Lumian was unsure if Jenna being wanted would affect her family, so he turned his head to look at Franca, hoping she could use her connections to make the official Beyonders overlook a minor acting apprentice.

Franca didn't hide her difficulty: asking Brother "007" for help in hiding a matter wasn't a problem, but if it involved covering for someone during an operation, it would require two conditions. First, he would need to be involved in the operation and in charge of checking the apprentices. Second, he would need to have general information about Jenna and know whom to help.

Franca didn't believe it was likely that "007" would coincidentally be in the Market District, so at most, he could pass on information, but the chances of him being directly responsible for the operation were slim.

"I can try, but I can't guarantee anything," Franca said to a worried Jenna, offering some vague reassurance.

Jenna responded with a soft "Mm," slightly relieved but still trying to think of another solution.

Lumian thought for a moment and said in a mocking tone, "Why are you, an acting apprentice, so worried about all this?

"Even if the official Beyonders check every single person at the Old Dove Cote, they'll probably focus the least attention on you. Think about it—you've only been in the Market District for a short time. You're not even a proper apprentice yet, and you haven't had the chance to play any minor roles. How could you possibly be a member of the Blissful Cult?"

"Yeah," Franca agreed. "You spend most of your time singing at bars and dance halls to earn money, so you hardly interact with the cultists at the Old Dove Cote. You're among the least suspicious. If you explain this truthfully to the investigators, they might not even need to confirm anything with supernatural means."

Lumian followed up with a grin, "Even if they do, it'll mainly be to check if you worship the 'Mother of Desire' or if you're a 'Miser' or 'Sex Addict,' which you're definitely not. That's a blind spot in the officials' thinking, and you can take advantage of it.

"Aren't you supposed to be a great actress? Time to put that to use! When the sun rises, go to the St. Robbes Cathedral, get something that shows you're a follower of the 'Eternal Blazing Sun,' and wear it. When you go to the Old Dove Cote, whether or not the Beyonders are there, make sure to praise the sun frequently.

"That's something cultists rarely do, so it'll effectively separate you from them. If the officials notice this detail, they'll probably put you on their trusted list."

As Jenna listened, her eyes gradually lit up. "Yes.

"A devout follower of the 'Eternal Blazing Sun,' an acting apprentice who's only been at the Old Dove Cote for a few months, wouldn't convert to an evil god so quickly. They'll probably just conduct a simple check... As long as I guide them to focus on the cultist suspicion, they likely won't think I became a Beyonder through other means..."

The more Jenna talked, the more excited she became. She set aside the pile of clothes on her lap and stood up.

She began pacing and gesturing as if rehearsing the role of a devout acting apprentice who worshipped the "Eternal Blazing Sun."

Lady, it seems you're not that devout; otherwise, you wouldn't need to rehearse... Lumian silently mocked her.

Charlie, meanwhile, was left stunned. "Little... Jenna is someone with supernatural powers too?"

Am I the only ordinary person here...?

Jenna continued performing for the imaginary official Beyonders, gradually building confidence.
