"Little Star" was a man just over 1.6 meters tall. He wore a performance mask with messy blonde hair on his head, his right hand covered by an exaggerated silver glove, and he was dressed in an open brown jacket with a dark shirt underneath. When he saw Lumian approaching, "Little Star" hurriedly came up to him, both surprised and delighted, and said, "Muggle, you're finally back!"
Lumian, using Aurore's voice, smiled and responded, "I had some issues before and took some time to recover."
"Are you okay now?" "Little Star" asked with concern.
"More or less," Lumian replied, unsure of the extent of the relationship between this person and Aurore, so he avoided answering playfully.
He then turned his attention to a woman sitting on the stone steps.
She wore a black butterfly-shaped mask, a white shirt with a bow tie, and a long dark coat. On her chest was a name tag made from typewriter paper that read: "Professor."
"Is 'Associate Professor' not here?" Lumian asked with a smile.
The "Associate Professor" was a man. A few years ago, due to their similar aliases, he had met "Professor" in real life, and they became husband and wife.
Both of them were "wizards" who loved to study all kinds of spells. The "Weeding Spell" in Aurore's spellbook came from the "Associate Professor."
The "Professor" had pale lips, a thin face, and beautiful brown eyes. She replied simply, "He has some matters in real life, entertaining guests, so he couldn't make it. But if I'm here, it's like he's here. It's all the same."
"Muggle, do you need anything?" she asked.
Lumian smiled softly, "I wanted to thank him for the 'Weeding Spell.'"
"What is there to thank for? Did your home get overrun with weeds?" "Little Star" curiously interjected from the side.
Lumian imitated Aurore's habit of reminiscing, slightly shifting his light blue eyes. "Recently, I encountered a type of plant supposedly from the Abyss. It grows rapidly, has strong vitality, emits anesthetic gases, and can devour people like a man-eating plant. Each time it appears, there are hundreds, if not thousands. But the 'Weeding Spell' can make them wither. Although not enough to kill them directly, it can at least neutralize them for a while."
"The 'Weeding Spell' works on supernatural plants?" "Professor" was somewhat surprised.
Lumian nodded gently. "But it only works on herbaceous and vine plants."
This was a note Aurore had added in her spellbook.
Apparently, she had experimented with the "Abyssal Devil Flower" from the local priest, and even when she wasn't in the best state, she had meticulously recorded her observations.
"This is an interesting discovery," said "Professor," pulling Lumian into a discussion about the various details of the "Weeding Spell."
Fortunately, Lumian had studied this spell thoroughly and had consulted with Franca and Ms. Hela. Though he couldn't use the spell himself, he had no trouble engaging in theoretical discussion.
After debating magic and occult knowledge with the members of the "Academy" group for a while, Lumian suddenly felt a shadow enveloping both himself and the surrounding area.
He looked up quickly and saw a towering figure.
The figure stood over 2.4 meters tall, dressed in a simple linen robe, with a hood that obscured his face. In his hand, he held a large staff that could easily crack a normal human skull.
