Underneath the Opera House's Colonnade Street.

The man dressed as a wizard screeched at Franca with a sharp voice:

"It's simple. There are only three specific terms: First, you promise to blow up the secret door of the hidden cave at the Abyss Quarry, creating enough commotion to attract everyone nearby. Second, I will pay you 50,000 Felkin, with 20,000 upfront. Third, if the promise isn't fulfilled, the penalties for both sides will be equal. The details can be discussed."

The man had no intention of deceiving the two Extraordinary individuals before him with the contract but planned to use his ability to alter the mission's content the moment the contract was established. This would force them to enter the secret cave in the Abyss Quarry and retrieve what he wanted, along with sufficient evidence.

This client had once used this unique ability to alter contract terms to buy a human soul for only 1,000 Felkin.

He was confident this time would also not disappoint him.

As Franca conversed with the wizard-like man, Jenna, hidden in the shadows, slipped her hand into the small coin pouch, aimlessly rubbing the gold, silver, and copper coins inside.

She was certain there was no seal inside the pouch.

Or rather, Franca didn't even have anything resembling a seal!

What is she planning? Jenna glanced at the client who had just listed the contract terms, feeling that something was off.

Why not go through a notary at the occult gathering earlier to finalize the deal?

If he was afraid of the details of the commission being leaked, he could've easily used the "Talk Room," utilizing the host's mystical items. There was no need to secretly tail them and make the commission mid-journey!

Something's definitely wrong!

Realizing this, Jenna immediately understood why Franca had tossed the coin pouch to her:

As soon as things went south, she was to use the *Ring of Punishment* to attack and control the situation!

Exhaling slowly, Jenna withdrew the *Ring of Punishment* and, while still concealed in the shadows, inched closer to the client.

Franca glanced at the shadow untouched by the electric stone lamp's light and smiled at the wizard-like client, saying:

"That sounds reasonable, but I need to check if you're lying and if there's any problem with this matter."

As she spoke, she gently tossed the electric stone lamp in front of her, then pulled out a mirror from a hidden pocket in her assassin's outfit, smiling as she said:

"Coincidentally, I'm good at divination."

The moment he heard this, the wizard-like client's pupils dilated, and his entire body tensed up.

He wasn't sure if the *magic mirror divination* could expose his trickery!

Hidden in the shadows, Jenna noticed his abnormal behavior and, without hesitation, swiftly raised her right hand. The iron ring covered in tiny spikes began to emit a faint light.

At the same time, her eyes seemed to shoot out two blinding bolts of lightning.

**"Mental Pierce!"**

Lumian and "Hela" were once again frozen by the terrifying will, infected by the pure madness, standing rigidly in place, trembling slightly.
