"You don't even know who the leader of our Sava gang is and you're asking me? Then you probably also don't know that our leader is an 'officer' in the secret organization 'The Iron Cross.' We're just a peripheral group..."

Upon hearing the question, a multitude of thoughts flashed through Lumian's mind as he slipped his right hand into his pocket.

He quickly came up with three guesses:

1. Leader Gardner Martin, through the Sava gang, had been involved in some secretive dealings, such as smuggling in a strange item via 'Rat' Kristo. Someone or some group noticed and wanted to investigate the gang to find the mastermind.
2. Another member of the Sava gang offended someone they shouldn't have, and now they're being tracked down.
3. After the Sting gang was destroyed, the rapid expansion of the Sava gang attracted the attention of some powerful forces.

In just a moment, Lumian quickly ruled out the first two possibilities. If the secret activities were discovered or someone was offended, the question would not have been posed to him. Normally, the one involved in such secretive matters or the offender would be the first to face investigation or retaliation, not him. Lumian hadn't participated in any of the Sava gang's secret affairs, nor had he backed up any subordinates recently.

More importantly, the person before him had directly asked about the identity of the Sava gang's leader, not about specific members or any particular event.

Based on this, Lumian strongly leaned toward the possibility that someone or some force had taken an interest in the Sava gang, perhaps intending to absorb it.

However, there was also the possibility that a rival gang had come into contact with a powerful individual and sought their help in taking down the Sava gang's leader.

Regardless of the situation, it was clear that they had only superficial knowledge of the Sava gang. They hadn't even uncovered Gardner Martin's public identity and were merely asking about the most well-known member before showing up for a "visit."

"In other words, they currently regard the Sava gang as a regional gang with a few extraordinary individuals. To deal with such a gang, they wouldn't send out a truly powerful individual, and they likely couldn't afford to hire one either. Having someone from Sequence 6 would already indicate significant attention, and anything lower than Sequence 6 wouldn't be beyond expectation..."

In the span of just two or three breaths, Lumian made this rough judgment.

Seeing that Lumian remained silent and didn't immediately answer his question, and noticing the gesture of reaching for a weapon, the tall man with deep black eyes and a wide-brimmed, brownish-yellow hat snorted coldly. His expression and gaze exuded clear danger.

Almost simultaneously, Lumian felt the surrounding darkness grow heavier, squeezing out the weak streetlight and the crimson moonlight.

The darkness condensed like frost, slowly but firmly seeping into Lumian's skin, flesh, and bones, inducing a sense of fear that was difficult to suppress.

Is that all you've got? A seasoned Lumian sneered internally.

He looked at the muscular man with grayish hair, wearing a linen shirt and a brown jacket, and, as if somewhat frightened, blurted out, "It's Gardner Martin! Gardner Martin from the Sava Chamber of Commerce!"

The man nodded in satisfaction and further asked, "Where does he live?"

What "Lion" Charles? What ruthless, crazy, and powerful gang leader? They're no different from other gang members!

These types, who mix in gangs, only bully those weaker than themselves, relying on gang backing to fight rival gangs. But once they encounter a truly formidable person, or even face a simple dark-type spell, their inner cowardice and weakness are exposed!
