Louis continued, "I'll have those three things delivered to the 'Golden Rooster Inn' later."

"How much?" Lumian planned to give Louis a little extra for his trouble.

Louis shook his head, "The Baron said you don't need to pay. Your improvement in strength is the same as our Savoie Party improving in strength."

Without Baron Brignell needing to explain, Louis could tell that this was a move to win Lumian over. After all, it was a matter of less than 10 felkins.

So, according to the Baron's words, I could also get reimbursed for the materials needed to advance to 'Pyromaniac'? Lumian thought to himself.

Louis took a sip of pomegranate soda and noticed a group of people entering through the door of the Breeze Dance Hall.

Leading the group was an exceptionally tall man, over 1.9 meters, with short, soft, light blonde hair clinging to his head like the surface of high-end velvet fabric.

He had a slightly large nose, light blue eyes, a face full of pits and scars, and extremely rough skin. He wore a tight black suit and a wide-brimmed round hat.

Louis's expression gradually became serious. He put down the soda bottle and said to Lumian, "I need to go to the Baron now."

At that moment, the tall, burly man in his thirties, leading a few men who appeared to be gang enforcers, headed toward the staircase, making their way to the café.

"Who is that?" Lumian didn't hide his curiosity and confusion.

Louis stood up and casually explained, "That's 'Giant' Simon, who manages a few dance halls on Nightingale Street."

"Isn't he also one of us in the Savoie Party?" Lumian asked further.

Louis nodded, "But his relationship with the Baron isn't great. He's been saying that since the Baron controls the loan-sharking business, he should hand over the Breeze Dance Hall."

"I'm going up. Not sure what he's here for."

Louis took a few steps, noticing out of the corner of his eye that Lumian remained seated at the bar without moving.

He couldn't help but sigh inwardly, "He really doesn't know how to seize opportunities. At this moment, shouldn't he follow me upstairs and stand by the Baron? If 'Giant' Simon says something unpleasant, he could just glare at him or point a gun at him. That way, the Baron would slowly come to trust him."

"Yeah, although he's ruthless, crazy, and strong, he's still just a clueless country boy."

Of course, if Lumian had really gone up to the café on the second floor to maintain appearances for Baron Brignell, Louis would have stopped him. After all, the Baron and 'Giant' Simon were likely to discuss some of the Savoie Party's more confidential matters, which weren't suitable for a newcomer to hear.

At that moment, Lumian was thinking, "So there are quite a few internal conflicts within the Savoie Party."

"If Baron Brignell and 'Giant' Simon clash and one of them dies, and if the boss behind the scenes wants to find someone strong enough to take over their position, wouldn't that be my chance? Then, as long as I pass the test, I can complete Mr. K's mission."

"Besides those few leaders, there's probably no one else in the Savoie Party who could take down Margot alone."

"The current problem is how to provoke a conflict between Baron Brignell and 'Giant' Simon without arousing suspicion."

As these thoughts flashed through his mind, Lumian ordered a glass of absinthe.

Before he finished the glass of that dreamlike green liquid, he saw 'Giant' Simon, along with his men, emerging from the staircase, his face taut with tension.
