important info:
in this au, the hermits during season 8 have been split when a meteor hit the land.
the current crew, including Scar and doc, sail to grian's evo-island where he almost commits manslaughter but scar's plight of 'my siblings missing :(' makes grian decide to help him out via traveling the downside up and finding the prophet who will like probably help them find their missing friends
here they find the prophet
(i will probably write more of this au and eventually spill the entire plot so it's cohesive.)

Grian stepped onto the black rock of the Downside up. Infront him was the crew of the Flying Jelly. Scar was in the lead, confidently walking through the dangerous realm.
Grian pulled his black cloak tighter.
The trail was overgrown; full of greying decay that vaguely resembled the plants of the overworld. It felt wrong, off.
Everything about the Downside Up felt wrong.
The trail weaves through a faux forest, fake but real. Living, but dead. Not meant to exist, but existing anyway.
They reach a clearing with a person. A mask hangs over their eyes, the symbol of Evo's original ship carved into it.
"I am the keeper with the answers you seek,"
They're wearing a grey, stone-like robe, sitting in an orientation that forced it to pool around them.
Their eyes study the group.
"Time, I've unlocked it, I see past & future running free."
As if to illustrate, magic bubbled at their fingertips, painting a scene in the air. Grian gets the feeling they're looking straight at him.
He stays behind the crew, watching warily. The 'keeper' seems to shrug at his ignorance, focusing instead on the giddy face of Scar and the imposing figure of Doc.
"There is a world where I help you get home,"
Grian narrowed his eyes. Strange phrasing from a powerful person like them is always a horrid sign.
What was the 'keeper' playing at?
"That's not a world I know~"
Grian pushed through the crowd, looming over the figure, who'd stood up. They were taller than him, of course.
"What?"
The keeper seems to smirk, lifting Grian's face with two stone-like fingers and smiling down at the blue eyes. Something was deeply.. off.
..
Watchers?
"I see a song of past romance."
They're walking, now. Doing laps around the grassy field they're in. Grian knows what he's referring to.
He can see the date of death clearly; the stench of the dark cave. Thousands of eyes blinking at them, a Watcher mistaken as a cyclops.
A mistake Taurtis would pay the ultimate price for.
Grain remembers the blood splattering the walls, the club Xunle held, smashing all who dared to slow for a single second. All in honor of a sheep, a sheep that lay dead at her feet.
