Grian partially flared his wings, glaring down at the gathered city beneath his feet. In the center of the crowd stood Xenya, firm and tall, grinning down at all of them.

"TONIGHT, WE WILL TAKE BACK THE HONOR OF XEYLA THE ANCIENT.

TONIGHT, WE WILL END IT ALL!"

She screams.

It's the beginning of the 'end', some could say- the war between Listeners, Watchers & Admins. About to come to it's head, to destroy families & servers & lives.

Grian can't let that happen.

So, he is abandoning his home- his birthplace, his school, his neighborhood, his friends, all for the other side.

And he'll do whatever it takes to make it.

"Any moment now, your Highness"

Grian leaped to the other building, watching as Xeyna searched the crowd for him. She was always a fool. As he traverses around the city, Grian takes a moment to reflect.

" Believe me, I know.. I've sunk pretty low.."

His mother's missing wing is evident of that.

"But whatever I've done, you deserved."

Xeyna finally brings her attention upward, catching Grian's wave as he dives into a darkened alleyway. He can see her pissed-off snarl. It's echoed by others- it was shocking how fast the public turned.

"I'm the bad guy? That's fine! It's no fault of mine,"

Grian shoves open a door, slipping into the apartment. It holds a tunnel towards the palace, where his next goal is.

A Watcher can't watch without her eyes, after all.

"some justice at last will be served!"

Now he's trekking through the darkness of the fresh tunnel, purple eyes glowing in the darkness- it's a haunting scene, the determination in fury burning bright in the lilac.

"Now, it's time to step up, or it's time to back down.."

Grian's slipping through the palace with half-opened wings, coming across the grand room.

The exact one he needs.

" And there's only one answer for me,"

Thousands of purple eyes, each glowing in a faint shape, stare directly at him. Grian just smiles, spinning his trusted dagger around.

"And I'll stand up & fight, 'cause I know that I'm right."

("YOU WOULDN'T DARE, XELQUA")

"And I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.."

Grian takes aim.

"Ready as I'll ever be!"

The daggers fly, effectively piercing every eye as they multiply mid-air. The room darkens, glowing purple blood the only remainder of its purpose once.

Pearl turns, dashing down the street with her wings wide open. Two cops follow her, trying to aim with their complex magic for a less magic-resilient limb.
