Cate has us all on this stupid video diary thing. But I think it's a good idea, being on camera and all you get comfortable with yourself. But here I am recording myself rambling like an idiot.

" Earlier today during lunch we were talking about Rebecca's binge, she asked for tips on how we all manage are weight and prevent binges. Honestly one oy tips was so stupid, I really like sherbet ice cream and my dad's always have it in the house. I try not to eat especially when I don't have the calories to eat it. So instead I just smell it literally. I open up the container and small the ice cream. Different kids of hunger exist more often than not I'm just mouth hungry and smelling whatever I'm craving is all I need. "

I stand in the kitchen making dinner for myself, a simple meal of  rice, black beans, and avocado essentially an extremely healthy chipotle bowl, since it doesn't have all the salt and oil. It taste delicious either way. Healthy fats fiber and balanced carbs. If you're going to restrict your calories or try and build muscle the least you can do is eat nutritious whole foods. Don't chug monster, mementos, chocolate, diet sodas, bread and whatever else you want to eat solely because it's low calorie.

" Honestly when she asks questions like that it's more than a bit triggering, I am recoverd but muscle related BD is terrible. I'm not insecure and I know I'm muscular but even I sometimes feel to small or not big enough. I really never know what to say. I mean I know where my priorities lay. With protein, building muscle and nourishing my body. Don't get me wrong little camera people yes I lift weights and that's what mainly keeps my shape but I constantly eat water. Yes I'll be hungry but just have to wait it out so I "eat" water. I fast from 10 pm till noon the next day. And I constantly crank out pushups but that's it. Although I'm thinking of adding another hour to my fast."

I've been naturally slim my whole life sure I've always had some muscle and abs but I'm black what can I say. We tend to save great genetics for muscles, even the girls. Well at least in my experience.

I take a large bite of my Diy vegetarian chipotle bowl, followed by some water. I swear water between every bite is the real trick. Yes it makes you feel fuller based on whatever you are eating but it also keeps you aware, reminds you to take breaks, and by not eating all at once you lessen your glucose spike.

" I guess if you wanted to build muscle I'd say lower your sodium in take an increase your protein intake by at least 30 grams because most of us aren't actually getting enough protein. Maybe lift weights three times a week to start? Or be like Regina who doesn't ever lift weights but lives for ballet and like your body no matter what. On the other when I was a crazy rexie I only ate packaged food because I knew exactly what was in it. I was constantly in my room doing jumping jacks, survived on Carmel rice cakes and mainly slept to avoid eating. Honestly I was always exhausted during that time so the sleeping was needed. "

I was about half way through my bowl and paused to think.

" I dropped weight incredibly easily so I used my own progress for motivation. in reality I didn't eat much of anything but when I did it was waffles, toast, oatmeal eggs and candy mainly sweet breakfast food. If I remember correctly I use to fast then to about once a week.My parents didn't really care what I ate, however when I did eat I made sure to do it front of them so they would know I was eating. But what's crazy at the time I didn't have a scale so I'd constantly find reasons to go to the doctor to be weighed once upon, however I did have a skin rash so it worked out. "

" Best I could do was tell her to eat before practice and directly after. I eat about 30 minutes to an hour before practice mainly carbs. Because I'm working out I need energy if you don't eat at all then do a super intense workout you aren't going to preform well and will likely binge after the workout. "
