It is a classic 'Notting Hill' story for Maia Harket and Irwin May. You have the chic superstar who revel in the jewel of her reputed music and star-clashing scandals, those high heeled boots that knocks somebody's tooth out, the beguiling charm of a femme who transfixes a lonely man and a recruiting crowd of hundreds and millions of women customising themselves as Harket, that Norwegian smile and her English weary, and then you have the lemon journalist who hides from the eyes of the fame, dressed up in a cache of beige trousers and a buttoned up top that just washes the idleness into a further tip-top yellowed lemonade.

It is a bit of a rock star meets a loser kind of story. A boy meets girl. That whole escapade of I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

The pair were friends from their early days in state school in Cricklewood. Harket recalls being a non-achiever in her attempts at making acquaintances upon her move to London, where she resided with brother and former A-Ha front man, Morten Harket. The Libertines rocker says, "I had always been somewhat of a loser when I was younger, I still think I have it a little bit in me until today, you just get more confident in the way you enter the world." The front man also explained that as a child, she tolerated most of her days with old and archaic recorded tapes of her brother's music, of which she claims to have been 'rather shit'. "Moving there [to Cricklewood] was a lot more than a culture shock. I was more fucking gobsmacked if anything, I have never been out of the country and here I was at some place called fucking Cricklewood!" She reminisces about the year 1983.

Harket was born and raised in a chronicled town called Kongsberg, located in Buskerud county of Norway. Due to Kongsberg's differing and distinct urban culture back in the sixteen hundreds, promising influence of the German culture is extensively foregrounded in its mining industry. Harket proudly claims that she knows a thing or two about the German language, but when asked to share a sentence with us, our interviewer had been cussed off by the rockstar herself for questioning her integrity. Kongsberg is also located on the river Numedalslågen, though Maia Harket swears on not having much recollection of any said river, for she allegedly failed to wander out of the house.
