The morning light filtered gently through the blinds of Taehyung’s apartment. The room was small but cozy, filled with only the essentials—his books, his desk, and his bed that still had the creases of a sleepless night. He groggily looked at the clock and instantly panicked. He was already running late. Shit.
(Taehyung's room)
Without wasting another second, he threw himself out of bed, rushing to get ready. His movements were swift, but not hurried, as if muscle memory guided him through his routine.
He pulled out a plain white t-shirt from the closet and paired it with black jeans. Simple, clean, and effortlessly stylish. He didn't waste time looking in the mirror because he knew he didn’t have to.
Taehyung had heard it a thousand times—how handsome he was, how his sharp features and light brown hair made him stand out no matter what. Today was no exception.
Running his fingers through his tousled hair, he gave it a quick ruffle for some volume, grabbed his bag, and bolted for the door.
The scent of coffee and breakfast wafted through the building from the neighboring apartments, but he didn’t have time for that. He was running on pure adrenaline and excitement, despite the hunger gnawing at his stomach.
I’ll grab something at the cafeteria
he thought, making a mental note to eat as soon as possible. His stomach growled in protest, but he ignored it as he locked the door behind him.
With a quick glance at his watch, he sprinted down the stairs, already planning to head straight to the cafeteria before his first class. The excitement that kept him awake last night was still there, mingled with a rush to make sure he didn’t mess up his first day.
As he stepped out into the brisk morning air, Taehyung didn’t care about how he looked—he knew he looked good. He always did.
______
Taehyung comes from a well-respected and disciplined family. His father serves in the army, which instilled a sense of duty and responsibility in him from a young age, while his mother is a doctor, embodying care and empathy.
Though Taehyung loves both his parents, it’s his sister, Tessa, whom he cherishes the most. Tessa, two years older than him, has always been his confidante, the one he feels most connected to.
Two years ago, she moved to the USA due to a situation that forced her to leave Korea, a change that deeply affected Taehyung.
Originally, the family lived in Daegu, but his father’s job transferred them to Seoul. While the move was a necessary adjustment, it was Tessa’s absence that created the biggest shift in Taehyung’s life.
Despite his close bond with his parents, he chose independence when he joined university, deciding to live in his own apartment rather than with his family in Seoul.
Physically, Taehyung stands out. He’s tall, with light brown hair that falls effortlessly into place, enhancing his sharp, defined features and has a very beautiful boxy grin.
His skin is fair, almost alabaster, which contrasts beautifully with his expressive, deep eyes. He has a lean, slim build but is notably thick in his lower body, which only adds to his striking appearance.
His voice is deep—deeper than most people expect—which, paired with his cold demeanor, creates an aura of mystery around him.
However, beneath the cold surface lies a heart full of emotion and sensitivity. He cares deeply for those he loves, but years of learning how people take advantage of vulnerability have made him hide that side.
To the world, he is distant and composed, but underneath, there’s a softer side that very few get to see.
