The café was cozy and inviting, the kind of place that felt like a safe haven from the busy streets outside. The air was filled with the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee, pastries, and the soft hum of chatter.
Wooden tables were scattered around, each accompanied by mismatched but charming chairs. Soft lighting bathed the room in a golden glow, and a few potted plants added a touch of greenery to the space. It was the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort.
(This is the cafe)
Taehyung and Jimin sat at one of the tables near the window, sipping on their drinks. Taehyung had been eyeing the interior of the café since they walked in, taking in the welcoming atmosphere.
The walls were decorated with quirky art, and handwritten chalkboards displayed the menu in bright, cheerful colors.
Behind the counter, a tall, handsome man with purple hair was playfully chatting with a customer. Kim Seokjin, the owner of the café, was the center of attention, as usual.
He had a larger-than-life personality that seemed to draw people in. Jimin had described him as a "walking caffeine shot," and Taehyung could see why. Seokjin had this infectious energy, always smiling and cracking jokes, making everyone around him feel at ease.
"Ah, Taehyung-ah!" Seokjin called out in his deep, enthusiastic voice, spotting them as he walked over.
"So, you’re the one who’s interested in working here, huh?" He flashed a broad grin and struck a dramatic pose, one hand on his hip.
“Before we continue, just know I’m the World Wide Handsome. Don’t let my stunning looks distract you.”
Jimin burst out laughing. “Hyung, I swear you introduce yourself like that every time.”
Taehyung chuckled too, feeling more relaxed in the friendly environment. “I’ll try my best not to get distracted, Seokjin-ssi,” he replied, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
Seokjin sat down across from them, leaning back with an air of exaggerated confidence. “Good. Now, Jiminie told me you’re looking for a part-time job? This café isn’t just a place for great coffee—it’s a place of healing, joy, and world-class jokes. Do you think you can handle that, Taehyung?”
Taehyung nodded, genuinely intrigued by the idea of working there. “I think I can manage.”
Seokjin’s eyes sparkled with amusement as he leaned in closer. “Alright, you’ll need to prove your worth. This café doesn’t hire just anyone, you know. I need to see if you’ve got the charm, the charisma, and most importantly…” He paused dramatically, pointing a finger at Taehyung. “…the ability to handle my incredibly handsome face every day.”
Jimin rolled his eyes, laughing again. “Hyung, you’re unbelievable.”
Taehyung grinned, playing along. “I’ll do my best, but no promises. You might be too much for me to handle.”
