Jungkook had been spending most of his suspension days at Taehyung’s apartment, practically making himself at home.
His clothes were scattered around, his gaming console was plugged into the TV, and there was always an extra toothbrush in the bathroom now.
Taehyung couldn’t say he minded, though. Every day when he got home from university, he would find Jungkook lounging on his couch, half-asleep with one leg thrown over the armrest, or occasionally in the kitchen, clumsily trying to cook something with a mess of ingredients scattered everywhere.
It was chaotic, but somehow, it made Taehyung’s apartment feel more alive—like it wasn’t just his space anymore, but their space.
Today was no different, but there was a slight buzz in the air. It was Jungkook’s last day of suspension, and he had spent the entire day planning something special.
His heart raced with excitement, the anticipation building up as he heard the beeps of the door keypad being pressed.
The door clicked open, and the moment Taehyung stepped inside, Jungkook launched himself toward him, wrapping his arms around him in a tight, playful hug, nearly knocking him off balance.
Taehyung laughed, his voice warm and teasing. “Whoa, easy there! Did someone miss me?”
Jungkook buried his face into Taehyung’s neck, inhaling deeply like he was savoring every second of the embrace.
“Mmm, so much,” he mumbled, his voice muffled against Taehyung’s skin, a hint of mischief lacing his tone.
Taehyung chuckled, the sound vibrating through both of them, making Jungkook’s heart flutter.
“I missed you too, Bun,” Taehyung whispered, his words sending a warm sensation through Jungkook, especially at the sound of that nickname.
Jungkook pulled back just slightly, eyes twinkling as he took in Taehyung’s bright smile.
“Okay,” he said, stepping aside with a dramatic flourish. “Go freshen up quickly. I have something planned for you.”
Taehyung’s eyebrows shot up, his lips curling into a grin. “Oh? What could you be planning this time, Jeon?” His tone was light, but his eyes were narrowed playfully, clearly intrigued.
Jungkook smirked, crossing his arms in mock arrogance. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
“Uh, yeah, I would like to know,” Taehyung fired back, leaning closer. “Do I need to prepare for something... life-threatening? Or are we keeping it casual?”
Jungkook rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide the smirk tugging at his lips. “It’s a surprise, Tae. Just trust me.”
“Dangerous words, Kook,” Taehyung teased with a laugh, heading toward the bathroom. “But fine, I’ll play along. This better be good!”
As Taehyung disappeared to freshen up, he could hear Jungkook bustling about on the balcony, making faint noises.
His heart raced with excitement, wondering just what Jungkook had up his sleeve this time.
Once Taehyung was ready, he stepped out, wearing something casual but comfortable—a soft sweater and jeans.
He glanced over at Jungkook, who was in a simple T-shirt and joggers, looking as relaxed as ever. Taehyung’s curiosity only grew.
“Okay, now tell me—what’s the plan?” Taehyung asked, eyeing Jungkook with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.
Jungkook approached him, a playful smirk dancing on his lips, and held up a blindfold.
